Lily was so good to my babies. Very attentive, knowledgeable and took care of them like they were her own. They are big dogs, but very lovable and she didn't have any issues with watching them for me. Will definitely book again for my next trip out of town.

About: Hi, I’m Conner your Dog’s Second Best Friend! As a professional dog trainer and experienced kennel technician, I bring a unique blend of skills, patience, and understanding to every pet I care for. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments — from shy seniors to high-energy puppies — and I know how to make each one feel safe, understood, and loved. With a strong foundation in training and kennel care, I don’t just “watch” your dog — I actively engage with them. Whether it’s reinforcing good manners, providing structured walks, or making sure your pup feels relaxed and secure, I create a calm, enriching environment tailored to their needs. Whether you need daily check-ins, long walks, or overnight care, your dog will be in capable and compassionate hands. I treat every dog like they’re my own — because that’s what they deserve. I will be on this at five days a week, so please let me know if you need absolutely anything! Would love to serve you. The well being of the animals will be top priority! I always wants the client to feel comfortable and at ease, they can contact me at anytime when working with a client!

So happy we found Megan through the Rover app! We have 3 dachshunds that can be quite a handful. These dogs are spoiled rotten and well established members of our family. To say they are high maintenance is understatement! We never had the ability to travel, as the dogs health and welfare always took precedence. We finally took the leap and was able to pre interview Megan on a meet and greet. She showed up exactly on time and met our babies. Needless to say, dachshunds aren't easily impressed. They are fiercely loyal and territorial and a bit snooty. After quelling the initial barking session, Megan sat on the floor and the dogs were instantly attracted to her. We were able to go on our trip feeling our dogs were in good hands and well cared for. Megan fulfilled all her visits and job duties above and beyond what was contracted. Her check ins with us were right on time. She spent extra time on her own playing with the dogs. When we came back, it was amazing to see how well they took to Megan. They didn't want her to leave! Most importantly, our dogs were not stressed because they were able to stay in their own home, tended to by a trustworthy caring individual. Megan YOU ROCK!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was little. I don’t have training experience, but I will do basic training with your dogs from what I’ve learned from taking my dog to obedience training. I will love and take care of your fur baby as if they were my own! Sorry, not sorry, if your pup comes back spoiled! I currently am a stay at home dog mom, so whenever your furry friend needs me I’ll be there! Maybe your furbaby can be friends with my furbaby! Your fur babies are allowed to roam free in my apartment. I have all kinds of toys for them to keep themselves busy and all the comfy places for them to lounge. I also have a nice size patio if your pet likes to sun bathe. There is a gated in dog park in the apartment complex that I will take them too if it’s too late at night for me to walk around,

About: Animals have been a constant presence in my life, and I'm always the first person my loved ones turn to when they welcome a new pet. Ensuring that animals feel cherished and well-cared for is my utmost priority, especially when it comes to my beloved senior companion, who deserves all the love and attention. I plan on committing all my time to pet care and Rover. I’ll be available to care for your pets all week long, including weekends and evenings!! I live in a spacious 4-bedroom home with my family, and we have a quiet, open yard that’s perfect for pets to explore safely. I share my home with a sweet senior teacup chihuahua, so I understand the importance of gentle care and attentiveness—especially for older or more sensitive pets. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I approach every visit with empathy, patience, and a genuine love for animals. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a clean, secure environment.

About: Grew up on a farm and had/have dogs my entire life. I also within the last 2 years have volunteered with working dog training facilities and horses at an equine therapy program. It has been great learning how to train and approach dogs, make them feel at ease along with challenging their brains. I have an extremely flexible work schedule which allows for lots of time with your furry family member(s). Fetch, walks, brushing, treats and feeding are all part of the daily activities. I have one amazing dog of my own he is 7 years old and neutered. He enjoys playing with other dogs. Safety for the dog and peace of mind for the traveling owner is always number 1. Plus lots of photos and storyboards of your loved dog’s day.

About: I've helped friends and neighbors pet sit, walk, feed, check in for pets since I was 15. For me it's another way to spread love in the world. I work split shift M-F so I have time to care in the middle of the day to care for pets when others may still be working or away from home. I have a small fenced in yard at a quiet apartment complex. They will be given quite a bit of affection and compassion. For walks I always speak happily so they feel comfortable and happy to go with me.

Reagan was awesome. She took good care of our 2 dogs twice a day for 8 days while we were out of the counrty. She gave us good reports with random photos of the pups daily. One of ours is a little slow to new people, but Reagon won her over with in a couple days. They were truly pampered and spoiled while we were gone.

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Bridge City

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 130 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Bridge City. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Bridge City stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bridge City. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 92% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
