About: I've been a Pet Sitter with Rover since October of 2020 and am currently in my second trimester of pregnacy with my second child - so pet sitting is my main source of income and takes priority over everything right now. In addition to in-home care, I also have experience working in a corporate boarding facility and I foster dogs/puppies throughout all stages of adoption. I've owned/cared for almost every type of domesticated animal imaginable, including dogs of all ages and weight classes, cats, hamsters, lizards and snakes (iguanas, bearded dragons, geckos, veiled chameleons), even a ferret and racoon. I have experience with weaning/potty-training, elderly care and special needs animals (diabetes, incontenence, vision/hearing impaired, etc.) So I can handle pretty much any animal you have - from Great Danes and Cane Corsos to diabetic cats to newborns + nursing mom. I love what I do and that's why I do it. I enjoy understanding an amimals individual personality and would love the opportunity to meet and spend time with your babies, furry or not! I am available 24/7/365. I'm usually able to accommodate short notice or same day requests for services and try to accept all booking requests I receive. I structure communication based on owner preferences, as to not overwhelm you nor leave you feeling any stress. About: Hi there! I’m a dedicated pet lover who is new to the professional dog sitting game. I have raised dogs since I was 7 and am a bit of a helicopter mom. I’m really only doing this to get a chance to play with your dog! We are very pro snuggle and pro treat in this house. I work from home so there will be plenty of ball throwing and potty breaks! Our daughter decided to join us just a few days before the trip and we were worried because our usual sitter was already booked. We were very grateful that Sherry was available and accepted our assignment with short notice. As soon as Sherry got there and was greeted at the door, it was apparent that Abby had maneuvered around the "barricade" my husband had created to keep her in a small area of our home. In doing this, she was cut off from her food and water. Sherry immediately called to alert us and the rest of the weekend went off without a hitch. Sherry was very prompt and consistent on keeping with Abby's schedule 3x a day and kept us updated with pictures as well.
