About: I grew up in a home that always had dogs and cats. As I got older, we began fostering dogs and venturing into owning more exotic animals such as hedgehogs, tortoises, mini pigs, pygmy goats, and saltwater fish. Growing up we had a dog that had seizures. Since being an adult and living on my own since 2014, I have owned a French bulldog, two toy yorkies, saltwater fish, a Persian cat (who had a seizure condition), and two standard poodles. I absolutely adore any and all animal and love learning about new species and breeds. I briefly worked for a vet's office as a vet tech in 2015 and a doggy daycare (Planet Canine) from 2012-01/2014. Since 2015 I have dog sat periodically for family and friends. I enjoy taking my poodles on long walks in our neighborhood. I have experience with administering medications for my previously ill and senior dogs such as ear drops, oral tablets and liquid, and eye drops. I am reliable, detail oriented, and a lover of all beings big and small. I am a self-proclaimed helicopter dog-mom. I start my day by caring for my dogs before I get ready for the day. Either me or my husband comes home in the middle of the day and lets them free roam and play for a little while. My 9-5 is flexible which means I can normally leave during the day at any point if and I am typically available after 5 pm most weekdays. I like to be home by 9 pm at the latest. Weekends I am normally available 9am-9pm. Fridays are normally the most flexible day for me. I have a privacy fence, and both of our gates are locked on the inside. I closely watch my dogs when they are outside. I have ample spaces to allow for crates, big and small. When I care for pets in someone else's home, I will stay outside with them while they potty and stay near them when they eat. I typically will not leave pets alone with toys unless the parents specifically ask this of me.

“Sherry did an outstanding job of taking care of our daughter's dog Abby over the long holiday weekend. Our daughter decided to join us just a few days before the trip and we were worried because our usual sitter was already booked. We were very grateful that Sherry was available and accepted our assignment with short notice. As soon as Sherry got there and was greeted at the door, it was apparent that Abby had maneuvered around the "barricade" my husband had created to keep her in a small area of our home. In doing this, she was cut off from her food and water. Sherry immediately called to alert us and the rest of the weekend went off without a hitch. I have cared for dogs and pets my whole life and have professionally worked with dogs for the last three years as a self employed dog breeder, groomer and care giver. Our home is equipped to watch over several dogs at a time and multiple dogs from each family. My husband and I both work from home so our pets and furry visitors receive lots of love and attention all day long. A typical day in our home looks like the following: first potty break by 7:00am to run around in our fenced in yard and enjoy the cool morning weather. We then rotate going in and out for food, playtime, training time, and rest time throughout the day. Since I am fully focused on the pets I’m responsible for, I will cater our schedule to YOUR pets specific needs. We typically spend most of our afternoons inside since Texas is hot and our doggies deserve to rest in our temperature controlled puppy house. In the evenings we will have our last potty break typically between 9:00-10:00pm before lights out. We have a security camera in our puppy area to keep a close eye on the pets in our care to ensure safety and comfort. As mentioned in the schedule above, we take comfort and safety very seriously in our home. We strive to give all dogs in our home a happy and safe experience while away from their owners. We are pet owners ourselves and will treat every pet under our care as if they were one of our own.

I’m new to charging for my services, but i have experience through fostering as well as volunteer work :) i have a flexible schedule so i’m available to work any hours you need, whether that’s for regular check-ins or someone to call for last minute pet care I don’t do pet stays in my home because i have three cats and like to maintain a stress free environment for them :) but when it comes to pet care im schedule oriented. I take care of feeding, walks, litter, enrichment, and keeping up with potty routines
About: I’ve taken care of my pets as well as family pets since I got my first cat back in 2010 when I was 7 years old. I have my own cat that I take care of. I feed her and take out her litterbox every day. She’s an indoor cat so she remains close to me at all times. I’ll follow whatever instructions that are provided. I’m used to dealing with my indoor cat. However our neighbors have outdoor cats that roam around and I hang out with them all the time.

About: I have over 25 years experience as a bull breed breeder and dog shower. My family bred and showed Chows and Sharpei thru the 80's and 90's, and we bred and raised American Bulldogs until 2017. I also have done many rescues and have extensive knowledge of potty training, and am very well read on dog behavior and socialization. About: Hi there! I’m an avid dog lover who would love to meet your baby. I have a fenced in backyard for plenty of outdoor time, we take walks around the neighborhood and I make fresh whip cream on Saturdays for pup cups!
