“Molly took very good care of our two cats. Thanks to her maintaining their litter box my house smelled nice and clean when we got home! She is a sweet young woman and very reliable and responsible. I was a little nervous about a stranger having access to my house but I realized quickly she was trustworthy. She communicates well and sent reports and photos of my cats which put my mind at ease. I will definitely use Molly again when I need a sitter.”

About: I grew up with dogs. I loved them like they were part of the family. I haven't had any dogs in a few years but my aunts and cousins have dogs and I've stayed with them. "A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself!" Josh Billings This would be my primary job. I'm available almost every day to take care of your fur babies. Anything you need, I'm your girl. Just let me know. I would like to add, I don't do well with more than 2 dogs. Just a personal preference. Sorry for any inconvenience. I can follow any instructions you have for me. If you have a fenced in backyard, I can keep an eye on them. If they need exercise, I can take them for a walk. If they are a senior dog and get tired on the walk, I will sit with them until they're ready to go home. Anything they need, I can take care of it.
“Baleigh went above and beyond for my cats. I had sudden plans change and she was extremely accommodating and kind to work with me. She kept my home clean, took plenty of pics of my cats for me, and gave them attention despite them being shy. I would recommend Baleigh for anybody!”

“Megan was fantastic with our two dogs! She was not only super nice but also flexible with scheduling when we had to push our trip back. Our dogs absolutely loved her, and she took great care of them. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“I love her work. She's so responsable and super patient. Take her time to know them. Follow instrucctions very well. I will definetly count with her in a futuro! Thanks Tessa! Happy New Year!”

“Courtney went above and beyond to take care of our dogs. She provided updates and everything was all good when we got back. Would highly recommend her for anyone wanting their fur babies and will absolutely have her take care of them again when we need it”

About: Hi, my name is Reyna and I've had pets all my life. From bunnies to cats and now I am the loving pawrent of 2 Dachshunds named Nitro and Winnie and 1 recently adopted Chihuahua named Larue. I completely understand that eventhough we wish we could take our furbabies wherever we go sometimes that is not an option. You can count on me to check up on your babies if you ever head out for the day and need peace of mind. I can drop in for a check in, feed them, walk them, play with them and head back out. I am a full time employee during the week but I am available most Fri-Sun. I am a full-time employee Monday-Thursday. I am available most Friday-Sunday for drop in visits with your pets especially if told ahead of time. You can count on me to drop in and feed, walk or play with your babies. I know some have more energy than others and require more walking and playing than others and I can do that. You can trust to let me know what your furbabies activity level is so I can plan an exciting drop in visit for them.

I’m able to bottle feed or do any all-day care only on weekends. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! I’m available for any sort of care on the weekdays afternoon-night and available all day on the weekends even for boarding! I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your babies company if they would like! I can easily crate if needed, feed any time of the day, and let out/walk as often as needed.
About: I’ve had friends of family rely on me to drop by and make sure their pets are fed, watered, and let out for potty breaks. I do work full time but I work one week on and one week off. So I’m able to do a few jobs a day. I’m only available on the weeks that I don’t work I am able to walk your dog or drop in and help feed and water and take your dog out for potty breaks and play with them for a little bit.
About: I have had cats and dogs all my life. I love taking care of animals, so much I know how to bottle feed baby kittens. I have had a range of dog sizes to care for in my life ranging from chihuahuas to siberian huskies. I love all animals and love taking care of them. I am currently a full time student until December, and I have a pretty much open schedule with only one in person class. I can visit your furbabies any day from 7am-5pm! My cats are free-feed babies, their litter boxes are changed daily and dumped weekly. My dogs are kennel fed out of pure safety, as well as walked on leashes until their recall is adequate. I will not be leash-less with a dog unless stated otherwise by owner.

About: What sets me apart is my years of hands-on experience and genuine love for animals. I have experience with puppies who need patience and basic training support, as well as senior pets who require medication routines and extra gentle care. I always make a point to treat the pets like they’re my own and properly love and care for all of them. I’m a college athlete so I am home for winter and summer breaks and have full availability throughout every day of the week for pet sitting, walking and proper care! I’ve very attentive to the pets and will always have an eye out for them and pay attention to their specific needs. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding, exercise, medications, and house rules. I have younger siblings, so I’m very aware of safety and supervision, and I don’t have any pets of my own. This allows me to give full attention to the pets I’m caring for.

About: I have a total of 4 years within veterinary medicine so I am specialized in both canines and felines. I am certified in most canine behavioral courses, and I do have certificates that were required by my day job at the Humane Society. I currently work part time for the humane society. My shifts are 8AM-3PM. My availability during the week is only limited to evenings but I do not have them listed on the app. Within my home we have a large property with 2 small dogs. Dogs will be leashed for walks just to ensure safety and not have any little wanderers in my neighborhood! At a client's home, I am there for the pets care. Once their needs are completed, I will do my best to make sure they are comfortable before I make my exit and especially devote time for love and attention!

I'm currently not working and am available to give all the attention to your furry friend. Play days and walks are the best along with cuddles. I have a fenced home with plenty of yard to run and play. I have 2 dogs that are always willing to play all day.
“Taylor is fantastic! I've never used this kind of service before, and quite honestly was a little nervous using this service. I didn't know how I would feel having a stranger come into my home while I was at work to watch my dog. However, Taylor came to do a meet-and-greet, and she was as nice and energetic as I was hoping she would be. She met with hazelnut who took automatic liking to her. She sent pictures the next day when she came over I was smiling and happy dog. I already have her book for 2 more days. That's how confident I know I am in her abilities!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
