About: Hi I’m Joy! Welcome to our home. I have cared for dogs and pets my whole life and have professionally worked with dogs for the last three years as a self employed dog breeder, groomer and care giver. Our home is equipped to watch over several dogs at a time and multiple dogs from each family. My husband and I both work from home so our pets and furry visitors receive lots of love and attention all day long. I am a full time pet caregiver in our home so our routine is structured and flexible based on your pets specific needs. A typical day in our home looks like the following: first potty break by 7:00am to run around in our fenced in yard and enjoy the cool morning weather. We then rotate going in and out for food, playtime, training time, and rest time throughout the day. Since I am fully focused on the pets I’m responsible for, I will cater our schedule to YOUR pets specific needs. We typically spend most of our afternoons inside since Texas is hot and our doggies deserve to rest in our temperature controlled puppy house. In the evenings we will have our last potty break typically between 9:00-10:00pm before lights out. We have a security camera in our puppy area to keep a close eye on the pets in our care to ensure safety and comfort. My main client had a corgi and we would walk around the lake in town 2 twice a day for an hour. He was an energetic and sweet boy. My other client had to leave for 2 weeks and I took care of there dog Fred being careful of his allergies to corn and chicken as well as giving him baths to treat his skin issues that he is now over. After breakfast, my doberman lays down in her crate for an hour nap to avoid developing bloat and my corgi goes back outside to play with my mom's dog. My cats typically will take a nap after breakfast and lounge around. After an hour, my doberman goes back outside to play and I will go out to throw toys and play fetch or tug with them all. At 2pm, the dogs all come in for an hour or two nap time and then are let back outside to play. Around this time I will take one of my cats outside on a leash to let him explore. My cats are all indoor cats and typically don't show any interest in going outside, but he does so I felt this would be a safe way to let him do so. I also intend to build a little catio window unit for my bedroom to allow my cats a safe way to experience being "outside" without risk. Due to all my cats being 10+ years old, they spend most of their day relaxing, sitting in windows and watching the birds and squirrels outside. At about 8pm the dogs come inside and usually settle down and relax until dinner between 9:30pm and 10:30pm. After all my pets eat their dinner, the dogs will go to their crates to rest until I lay down for bed and let them out to join me. Typically I would not leave my dogs outside for such a long time, however I am currently living with my parents to help with my mom's disability and my dad prefers the dogs spend more time outside. Because of this I do try to find days to take my dogs out on walks in parks nearby. When I lived in Oklahoma, I would occasionally take them hiking as well. Thankfully, my parents do have a large enough fenced in back yard that the dogs have lots of room to run and play when I'm unable to take them out for an adventure. Once a month I give my dogs an oral flea and tick preventative. Every 2-3 months I will also fully groom my dogs. I shampoo and condition their fur, trim their nails, brush their teeth, clean their ears and moisturize their fur and paw pads. Nail trimmings are done more frequently, at least once a month if not twice, to ensure their nails don't grow too long. They do a lot of running outside, which helps manage the length between trimmings.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life. They are everything. I have 2 mini dachshunds and they hold my heart. I feel all dogs are special and need the love and attention you'd give a baby or child. I am known to stop in the middle of the road to convince strays they need to get in my car, and they usually do, if I can't find the owner I then take them to a non kill shelter to be cared for and follow up on every one. I feed my babies only the best food and only make or give veggies as treats, except for the beef/chicken broth (low sodium of course) ice cubes after a long hot walk. I have flexible availability and am always willing to work my schedule to accommodate as many people as possible without compromising time for the pups. I can do doggie day care, walks or drop ins. I can board 1 overnight but no more because I have to consider my pups well-being as well. They do love other dogs though. They enjoy the dog park a lot. I owned a cleaning business for 10 years and often cared for the customers dog while there and also boarded and/or sat with one of my customers multiple times. I am currently working from home on a flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to spend with the pups. Most of my time is dedicated to my pups and anyone in my care. I have a nice size fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. There are pups on all sides of my fence so there are neighbors for the pups to chat with...and give a good back and forth fence run.
About: I have always had a love for animals. I love all kinds of animals especially cats and dogs. I have a cat and dog myself. I have grown up around many different types of dogs and animals. I would love to be able to get to know your animals and show them all types of love. I am a college athlete and I come home during christmas break and the summer. About: I’ve had many dogs throughout my childhood and I just love how they are. I have had experiences with many dogs throughout my life. They’re so cute I love them all. I currently don’t have a job right now but I am looking for one. I start my day early so I have free time! I only have one dog now. Her name is Luna, she’s been my baby since she was literally a baby. She knows when to go outside to use the restroom, as well as some tricks I taught her, she also loves when I pet her…sometimes when she wants me too lol, still love her.
