About: I’ve grown up with dogs but more recently have been watching friends and families dogs (including a young lab puppy). Tell me everything about them so I can make them feel more comfortable! No detail is too small. My weekdays and weekends are very flexible for walks and/or check-ins. Please see my schedule for booking—multiple visits per day is no problem for me. About: I have experience with owning my own dog and also taking care of relatives/friends dogs when needed. My dog is a high energy GSP with separation anxiety. I understands the need for exercise and attention. It is me and my 6 year old GSP. I understand what it takes having a high energy breed and make sure she gets taken care of on the daily with playing ball, walks, and cuddles. I can easily add one more pup into the mix during our daily routines. I do not have a fenced in yard. I live next to a park where I run my dog almost daily. About: Hi! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have grown up surrounded by dogs. I currently have a Golden Retriever named Sayde who lives with my parents back home, and although I don’t have a dog of my own in my apartment right now, caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. Throughout the years, I’ve cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and members of my community. While attending Iowa State University, I joined the ACE Project, where I had the rewarding opportunity to foster several dogs who had experienced trauma or needed extra help with socialization. Working with these dogs taught me so much about patience, compassion, and the importance of creating a safe, loving environment where every dog can feel comfortable and thrive. I currently work at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Des Moines, where I care for and handle animals with a wide range of medical needs, including critically ill pets. This experience has given me valuable hands-on animal care experience and a strong medical knowledge base, allowing me to feel confident caring for pets who may need extra attention, medication, or specialized care. I truly miss fostering and spending time with dogs, and pet sitting feels like the perfect way to continue doing what I love! For longer stays, I appreciate at least a month’s notice so I can coordinate with work and ensure I’m available. About: Ive dog sit for friends and family at their home. Taking care of them in their own personal environment. Clients home care would to be following their rules/routines for their pet. Rather that be a walk or playing with their toys, feeding schedule..etc. ive sat older dogs, younger dogs and even taken a blind pup out for a day from the shelter! I work a full time job but i am able to leave once or twice during my shift to take care of the animals in your home! I will stop by and let them outside and play with them for a bit during my shift. I would stop by before my shift and immediately after, i always make sure they have enough time to play and go to the bathroom before i leave. I have dogs at home that arent dog friendly so i do have experience with reactive dogs! I cant keep other pets in my own home while you are not home but i am more than happy to hangout at your home and care for them!
