About: I’ve owned 4 dogs throughout my life, my current one being a rescue, taken care of family and friends dogs whenever offered. I value making sure the animals under my care feel energized, satisfied, and rested. I value the owner equally as I do the pet as I’m willing to work within budgets and make accommodations to make sure those who hire me can continue to do so comfortably. I can’t wait to work with you so I can be blessed with responsibility to help make your dogs day amazing. I’m currently working full time Friday-Tuesday from 2 PM-11PM im available anytime in between those hours, as for house sitting I can arrive there by midnight and stay until 12:30PM, on Wednesday & Thursday I am available the entire day! I’m very vocal and will make sure communication is far from an issue. I typically like to start off my dogs day with a walk around the neighborhood on a path I've made for them that is free of any possible triggers, once they're all tired out I to take them back home to play and have dinner, making sure your dog is stimulated and rested accordingly.
About: I am known as a dog whisper, I have been able to calm angry simply through a gentle hand. My chickens follow me around like the Pied Piper. I am retired, so their routine is my routine. I generally rise between 6am - 7am and begin dog walking. After they have been fed, I take care of the other pets. At this time I do not plan to offer boarding on my eight acre hobby farm. If I do, then dogs, horses, cattle, sheep, and goats will be accomodated.
“Kimberly is amazing with animals! My dogs acted like they knew her for years and look forward to her visits! I am sure my babies want me to travel more just to see her! She will be first in my list if and when we travel again! Thank you Kimberly!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and currently have my heart dog! I have a little bit of experience in veterinary science. I am comfortable and confident with any size/breed dog and any age. I currently work part time in a bakery and will need advanced noticed to accommodate my work schedule for your sitting needs. My typical work day is 4am - 12pm or 8-5, so I am willing to request off or work through the sit, whichever you prefer! I provide frequent potty breaks (typically every hour) and play with your babies all day. I also love to let them sleep in bed or on the couch with me.
“April was amazing with our pups. Each day our fur babies looked forward to seeing her. She walked them, played with them and made sure that had everything they needed until she returned again.”

About: As a mother, teacher, and rescue board member, I know it takes a village to keep a household running. Now that I have the time, I am excited to support busy families with dedicated, experienced pet care. My Hands-On Experience Includes: Dogs (Big & Small): I have raised dogs from puppies to seniors. My personal pack includes two rescues that I successfully rehabilitated from extreme anxiety and severe underweight issues, and a third dog raised from a puppy with complex training, allergy, and dietary needs. Cats (Old & Young): I don’t personally own cats, but I always enjoy their independent and silly characteristics and always happy to help meet their needs while you’re away. Whether your pet needs structured routine care or loving interaction, your pets are in safe, experienced hands. As I transition from full-time teaching to part-time work, my top priority is focusing on my family while using my newfound flexibility to help yours. Because I am no longer tied to a school bell, I can be in your home when you need me most. Hours: Available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM Mid-Day Relief: Perfect for working parents who need midday dog walks, puppy potty training, or precise daytime feeding. Evening Routines: Available for dinner feedings, evening wind-downs, and locking up your home safely for the night. As a former teacher and current reptile rescue board member, safety and organization are second nature to me. My daily life is a masterclass in routine, seamlessly managing my three happy-go-lucky dogs, a diverse personal reptile collection (from diurnal geckos to nocturnal snakes and tortoises), and a rotating cast of foster animals. Why this means peace of mind for your family: Meticulous Attention to Detail: Constantly adapting to the unique needs of foster animals has trained me to recognize subtle behavioral cues, respect boundaries, and strictly follow specific dietary or medication instructions. Species-Specific Routines: Whether it is maintaining precise temperature and lighting schedules for a sensitive reptile, providing relief to your kitty cat’s needs, or keeping a high-energy dog on a structured schedule, I understand that different species require different care rhythms. Safety First: From double-checking tank latches to managing dog interactions safely, I prioritize a secure, predictable environment. I bring this blend of structured efficiency, complex care routines, and loving interaction into your home so you can rest easy knowing your pets are thriving.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally. Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked with pets of all kinds—playful pups, independent cats, curious bunnies, and even the occasional lizard. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s a quick visit, a long walk, or just keeping them company, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to easily incorporate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. My schedule allows me to plan visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. This means I can provide consistent, timely care and adjust to each pet’s specific needs—whether that’s a morning walk, a midday visit, or evening playtime. Being remote also allows me to stay nearby in case any last-minute needs come up. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my focus is always on creating a safe, clean, and low-stress environment. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide—so they feel secure and comfortable in their familiar space. I make sure your home is respected and left just as I found it. If pets are staying in my home, they’ll have a cozy, quiet space with plenty of attention, play, and supervised care throughout the day. In both cases, I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve had a chihuahua since I was a teenager. She’s just passed away in 2025 at the age of 18! She was truly my soul dog! Now, I have 2 cats, Clover (a Siamese) and Ash (a tuxedo). I love being their mom! I’m a careful pet owner (AKA I worry a LOT), so I will care for your babies the same that I do for my own! I’m currently looking for my next corporate role, so I’m available as often as you need me to check on your babies while you’re away! I have a fenced yard! I also am over-protective, so you can bet I will be overly cautious with your babies! I will treat them as if they were my own!

About: I love dogs! I have three of my own—if I could, I would have 300. I’ve been walking dogs and caring for animals for over 30 years, and my experience spans all ages, temperaments, and needs. I’ve done everything from bottle feeding puppies to providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, including administering medications and following special routines. I’m comfortable handling rambunctious, high-energy dogs who need structure, exercise, and patience, as well as shy or anxious pets who benefit from a calm, reassuring presence. My animal experience isn’t limited to dogs. I’ve also cared for horses and rabbits, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, safety, and attention to detail. I treat every animal as if they were my own, focusing on their comfort, routine, and well-being. Whether your pet needs lots of activity, extra medical attention, or quiet companionship, I’m dedicated to providing reliable, loving care you can trust. I’m a teacher, which means I have reliable availability in the evenings on weekdays. I’m also fully available during school holidays, long breaks, and throughout summer vacation. During those times, I have flexible daytime and extended availability to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. If you have a pet who needs consistent evening care during the school year or more frequent attention during breaks and summer, I’m happy to help and keep their routine as smooth as possible. When pets stay in my home, I focus on keeping their routine as close to normal as possible. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any special care needs. Dogs receive regular walks, playtime, and quiet rest, and I always prioritize comfort, especially for senior dogs or those with medical needs. I take introductions slowly when needed and make sure every pet feels secure and respected. My goal is for your pet to feel like part of the family while you’re away. Caring for Pets in Your Home When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both your space and your pet’s routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and household guidelines. I understand how important consistency is, especially for anxious pets, seniors, and medical cases. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. I leave your home clean and cared for, and your pet happy, comfortable, and safe.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
