About: I typically help neighbors & family with their pets when they’ve gone out of town many times. Walking, feeding, medicine, baths, etc. My parents recently got puppies that I helped raise from a month old! 💙 I work from home as a video marketer & work part time door dashing, which allows my schedule to be insanely flexible to help out with play time, walks, & drop by visits. 😎 I often help my elderly people bring their groceries all the way to the kitchen. I make sure to greet the animals, let them build confidence & trust, before entering the homes. My intention is to leave a safe impact on the house.

About: Compassionate and dependable pet sitter with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have been caring for pets since childhood, providing trusted care for family members, friends, and elderly pet owners. Experienced in maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic care, providing exercise, companionship, and ensuring pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. Skilled in reinforcing basic obedience and puppy training, including potty training, sit, stay, and lay down commands, using patience and positive reinforcement. Dedicated to treating every pet like family by providing personalized attention, affection, and reliable care. Committed to creating a stress-free, loving environment where pets can thrive and owners can have complete peace of mind. With the flexibility of working from home full-time, allowing me to provide attentive, reliable care throughout the day. My schedule enables me to take regular breaks to care for pets in my own home or travel to clients’ homes while maintaining their established routines. I am committed to following each pet’s individualized care plan, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medication administration (if needed), and exercise requirements. I understand the importance of consistency and strive to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where pets feel comfortable and owners have complete peace of mind. As a lifelong animal lover, I provide a safe, caring, and enriching environment for every pet entrusted to my care. My home is situated on spacious land with a large, securely fenced yard where dogs have plenty of room to run, play, and exercise. I have three friendly outdoor dogs who are well-socialized and enjoy the company of other dogs. Inside my home, I have two calm, senior dogs who are gentle, well-mannered, and welcoming to visiting pets. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I understand that every animal thrives on consistency and routine. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, medication (if needed), exercise, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest periods. I also recognize that every pet has a unique personality—some enjoy constant interaction while others prefer quiet companionship—and I respect their individual needs to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care that gives pet owners complete peace of mind, knowing their beloved companions are being treated with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own pets

About: I've loved animals from a young age. It all started with black labs for duck hunting. I was a vet assistant and horseshoer for many years. I've had dozens of personal pets throughout my life, and am now looking to love on and help care for other people's furry friends. I am recently retired and need something to occupy my time and give me purpose. When thinking about what I'm passionate about, animals is what is first to come to mind. I am up early and start my day with a walk. I am home most everyday and have a very flexible schedule to accommodate your pets needs. I have a fenced, clean yard with a covered patio. Plenty of space to roam and run. There is a water hose for plenty of water available. I have a glass back door looking outside. I can bring them inside the house as needed.

About: I’ve taken care of pets when I used to live in Hawaii since I was 15. And would often give them baths, walk them, and feed them. I’m currently part time which means I’ll have plenty of time to take care of pets as well as take them on walks or to the park. I’ll often take them on a walk in the morning. I’ll feed them breakfast if that’s in their routine. Play with them in my apartment and then take them out again in the afternoon. I’ll then feed them dinner around 6-7 and then take them out once more.

About: I love dogs! I have three of my own—if I could, I would have 300. I’ve been walking dogs and caring for animals for over 30 years, and my experience spans all ages, temperaments, and needs. I’ve done everything from bottle feeding puppies to providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, including administering medications and following special routines. I’m comfortable handling rambunctious, high-energy dogs who need structure, exercise, and patience, as well as shy or anxious pets who benefit from a calm, reassuring presence. My animal experience isn’t limited to dogs. I’ve also cared for horses and rabbits, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, safety, and attention to detail. I treat every animal as if they were my own, focusing on their comfort, routine, and well-being. Whether your pet needs lots of activity, extra medical attention, or quiet companionship, I’m dedicated to providing reliable, loving care you can trust. I’m a teacher, which means I have reliable availability in the evenings on weekdays. I’m also fully available during school holidays, long breaks, and throughout summer vacation. During those times, I have flexible daytime and extended availability to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. If you have a pet who needs consistent evening care during the school year or more frequent attention during breaks and summer, I’m happy to help and keep their routine as smooth as possible. When pets stay in my home, I focus on keeping their routine as close to normal as possible. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any special care needs. Dogs receive regular walks, playtime, and quiet rest, and I always prioritize comfort, especially for senior dogs or those with medical needs. I take introductions slowly when needed and make sure every pet feels secure and respected. My goal is for your pet to feel like part of the family while you’re away. Caring for Pets in Your Home When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both your space and your pet’s routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and household guidelines. I understand how important consistency is, especially for anxious pets, seniors, and medical cases. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. I leave your home clean and cared for, and your pet happy, comfortable, and safe.

About: I've been taking care of pups for over 15 yrs now. At first my own pups, but then I would help out friends and family with their pups while they went on vacations and/or traveled for work. My family says I have a kinship with dogs as most dogs naturally get a long with me. Sometimes I can calm the most excitable pup and have them relax in my lap. I work pretty early in the morning. I'm usually home by 10-11 am. I have a pretty good schedule regarding feeding and potty breaks. I tend to take the pups out for walking and play I have a fenced back yard and a dog park near by. I can take your fur babies to the park or on walks regularly. I currently have 2 pups myself, they are well trained and have a pretty steady routine (food and potty breaks). They get along well with other dogs, no biting or aggression. They do set boundaries though. NO humping.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your White Mound. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
