Experienced in maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic care, providing exercise, companionship, and ensuring pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. Skilled in reinforcing basic obedience and puppy training, including potty training, sit, stay, and lay down commands, using patience and positive reinforcement. Dedicated to treating every pet like family by providing personalized attention, affection, and reliable care. Committed to creating a stress-free, loving environment where pets can thrive and owners can have complete peace of mind. With the flexibility of working from home full-time, allowing me to provide attentive, reliable care throughout the day. My schedule enables me to take regular breaks to care for pets in my own home or travel to clients’ homes while maintaining their established routines. I am committed to following each pet’s individualized care plan, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medication administration (if needed), and exercise requirements. I understand the importance of consistency and strive to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where pets feel comfortable and owners have complete peace of mind. As a lifelong animal lover, I provide a safe, caring, and enriching environment for every pet entrusted to my care. My home is situated on spacious land with a large, securely fenced yard where dogs have plenty of room to run, play, and exercise. I have three friendly outdoor dogs who are well-socialized and enjoy the company of other dogs. Inside my home, I have two calm, senior dogs who are gentle, well-mannered, and welcoming to visiting pets. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I understand that every animal thrives on consistency and routine. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, medication (if needed), exercise, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest periods. I also recognize that every pet has a unique personality—some enjoy constant interaction while others prefer quiet companionship—and I respect their individual needs to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care that gives pet owners complete peace of mind, knowing their beloved companions are being treated with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own pets

I am up early and start my day with a walk. I am home most everyday and have a very flexible schedule to accommodate your pets needs. I have a fenced, clean yard with a covered patio. Plenty of space to roam and run. There is a water hose for plenty of water available. I have a glass back door looking outside. I can bring them inside the house as needed.

About: As a mother, teacher, and rescue board member, I know it takes a village to keep a household running. Now that I have the time, I am excited to support busy families with dedicated, experienced pet care. My Hands-On Experience Includes: Dogs (Big & Small): I have raised dogs from puppies to seniors. My personal pack includes two rescues that I successfully rehabilitated from extreme anxiety and severe underweight issues, and a third dog raised from a puppy with complex training, allergy, and dietary needs. Cats (Old & Young): I don’t personally own cats, but I always enjoy their independent and silly characteristics and always happy to help meet their needs while you’re away. Whether your pet needs structured routine care or loving interaction, your pets are in safe, experienced hands. As I transition from full-time teaching to part-time work, my top priority is focusing on my family while using my newfound flexibility to help yours. Because I am no longer tied to a school bell, I can be in your home when you need me most. Hours: Available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM Mid-Day Relief: Perfect for working parents who need midday dog walks, puppy potty training, or precise daytime feeding. Evening Routines: Available for dinner feedings, evening wind-downs, and locking up your home safely for the night. As a former teacher and current reptile rescue board member, safety and organization are second nature to me. My daily life is a masterclass in routine, seamlessly managing my three happy-go-lucky dogs, a diverse personal reptile collection (from diurnal geckos to nocturnal snakes and tortoises), and a rotating cast of foster animals. Why this means peace of mind for your family: Meticulous Attention to Detail: Constantly adapting to the unique needs of foster animals has trained me to recognize subtle behavioral cues, respect boundaries, and strictly follow specific dietary or medication instructions. Species-Specific Routines: Whether it is maintaining precise temperature and lighting schedules for a sensitive reptile, providing relief to your kitty cat’s needs, or keeping a high-energy dog on a structured schedule, I understand that different species require different care rhythms. Safety First: From double-checking tank latches to managing dog interactions safely, I prioritize a secure, predictable environment. I bring this blend of structured efficiency, complex care routines, and loving interaction into your home so you can rest easy knowing your pets are thriving.

About: I love dogs! I have three of my own—if I could, I would have 300. I’ve been walking dogs and caring for animals for over 30 years, and my experience spans all ages, temperaments, and needs. I’ve done everything from bottle feeding puppies to providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, including administering medications and following special routines. I’m comfortable handling rambunctious, high-energy dogs who need structure, exercise, and patience, as well as shy or anxious pets who benefit from a calm, reassuring presence. I treat every animal as if they were my own, focusing on their comfort, routine, and well-being. Whether your pet needs lots of activity, extra medical attention, or quiet companionship, I’m dedicated to providing reliable, loving care you can trust. I’m a teacher, which means I have reliable availability in the evenings on weekdays. I’m also fully available during school holidays, long breaks, and throughout summer vacation. During those times, I have flexible daytime and extended availability to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. If you have a pet who needs consistent evening care during the school year or more frequent attention during breaks and summer, I’m happy to help and keep their routine as smooth as possible. When pets stay in my home, I focus on keeping their routine as close to normal as possible. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any special care needs. Dogs receive regular walks, playtime, and quiet rest, and I always prioritize comfort, especially for senior dogs or those with medical needs. I take introductions slowly when needed and make sure every pet feels secure and respected. My goal is for your pet to feel like part of the family while you’re away. Caring for Pets in Your Home When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both your space and your pet’s routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and household guidelines. I understand how important consistency is, especially for anxious pets, seniors, and medical cases. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. I leave your home clean and cared for, and your pet happy, comfortable, and safe.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
