About: I'm a stay at home mom of 6 kids and have many pets. I have had dogs and other pets all of my life. I have obedience training knowledge, and have trained all of my dogs. I'm a stay at home mom, so I'm able to provide quality attention. Dogs are let outside every hour (shorter times when weather is hot). I live in a friendly neighborhood to go on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard with an 8 foot tall fence. Thank you for your time and hope to meet soon! *other animal care too* I take care of animals all day every day. My schedule is mostly open, other than kids' activities. Summer schedule is different than when school is in session. I have a large yard with secure fencing. Also can crate your furry friend at night if necessary. I want to treat them like you do in your own home.
About: I have 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes. I am deeply passionate about dogs and cats. I believe every animal deserves individualized attention and affection, and I always strive to treat each pet with the highest level of respect and care. My goal is to ensure that every animal in my care feels genuinely loved and valued. My approach focuses on creating a calm, peaceful, and enjoyable environment for your furry companions. I work to provide a trustworthy and comforting space, giving your pets a sense of being at home even when you are away. Comfort, security, and joy are at the heart of my pet care philosophy. I currently hold a full-time job from 8 AM to 5 PM, but I am available in the evenings and on weekends to provide care for your pets and their own familiar surroundings. I prefer to care for animals in their own home to help them maintain their routine and comfort Should you wish, I can provide excellent references from current clients to demonstrate my commitment and reliability. I am eager to learn about any special needs. Your pets may have to ensure they receive the best possible care Taylor to them.
About: "I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family all in different ways have depended on me to do what's needed. I work full time and so does my wife but with a flexible schedule to be able to dedicate time and care to our furry friends. I have a fenced in property with a good sized yard as well as 2 dogs and 3 cats both friendly to others. Crates available as well.
“Second time hiring Adriana to house sit and take care of my dogs while I'm out of town. Once again, she provided excellent service! My pups love her and even slept with her in the bed. She gave them lots of attention and walks despite the rainy weather. Made sure they ate their meals. I came home to a clean and orderly home just as I left it! Thank you Adriana!”

About: I‘ve been surrounded by animals all my life, whether it be cats, chickens, dogs, turkeys or even critters! The simplicity animals seem to have never fail to amaze me, and it would make me happy to care for your pet! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I make sure there’s always time in my day for feeding, walks, and PLENTY of cuddles. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, whether they’re energetic and playful or more of a cuddle and nap type (my absolute preference 😉). Taking care of pets doesn’t feel like a chore to me at all; it’s something I look forward to and happily make a part of my everyday routine. I care for pets like they’re my own! making sure they’re comfortable, fed, and loved. Whether I’m house sitting or stopping by for a visit, I follow your pet’s routine, give plenty of playtime and cuddles, and always send photo updates so you can have peace of mind.
About: I grew up with pets of all kinds. I've always been the first person all my friends would call to take care of their pets. I've watched chickens, ducks, hourses, cats, dogs, hamsters, bunnies, snakes ect. I never thought to make it a business I always just did it out of my love for animlas and knowing they would be safe with me. Now that I have more knowledge and experience it just makes me so happy I can help each and everyone of you while you are away doing something I absolutely love. ❤️ Im so incredibly thankful to say this is my full income so I'm home all day to play with your pets and keep them company at all hours if need to be! I take them on walks 3 times a day plus backyard time. Fed normally twice unless told otherwise, and endless play time with their breeds or endless snuggles. Cats are 24/7 off the walls so I tend to have to keep them occupied as well sometimes even put a leash on them for an adventure 🤭
About: I’ve been an animal enthusiast my entire life—if I could, I’d adopt every animal at the shelter! Growing up, I cared for a variety of pets, from rabbits and fish to birds, cats, and dogs. This lifelong experience has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs of our furry (and feathered!) companions. In addition to my love for animals, I’ve spent over a decade as a caregiver for my mother, who has a traumatic brain injury, and worked professionally in the caregiving field. This experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of providing compassionate, reliable care. Whether it’s preparing meals, administering medications, or managing daily tasks, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your loved ones—including your pets. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I would love to offer you peace of mind while you’re away. Whether you’re at work or on vacation, your fur babies will be cared for like family. Let me help you by doing what I love most—providing top-notch care for your pets! I currently work from home right now so I have all day and night to spend time, love and play with your fur baby. 🥰 I care for your fur babies just like I would for my own fur baby. I am very alert, loving, caring and only provide the best care. I am a health and wellness coach so I only use the best DIY and holistic care and do not use any toxic chemical products or foods. My last pup passed from cancer so I have decided to have our whole house toxic free!
About: Hi, I’m Darleen! I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Growing up, my family always had pets, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. On top of that, I’ve worked in caregiving for people and while doing that, I also helped care for my clients’ pets. That meant feeding, walking, cleaning up messes, giving meds when needed, and just making sure their animals felt safe and loved while their owners were away or nearby just needing extra assistance for their fur babies. So being patient, dependable, and detail-oriented is already second nature to me. I’m great with energetic dogs who need real playtime, shy or anxious pets who need reassurance, and older animals who need a gentler touch. I myself had a Chihuahua since childhood live to be 18 years old. She passed away a couple of years ago, so I know how it is to love and cherish them and watch your baby go through all the stages of life. That being said, I follow routines closely, respect your home, and I’ll always send photo updates so you know how your pet is doing. I truly treat pets like family and see them no other way. If you’re looking for someone reliable who genuinely cares about your animals, I’d love to help. Feel free to reach out for a meet & greet :) I’m currently unavailable on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can work with other needs on other days. At the moment pretty flexible just need communication, of course to work something out. I care for pets the same way I care for my own — with patience, attention, and respect for their routines. I currently have three cats and a really sweet husky at home, so I’m used to managing different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also cared for clients’ pets while working in human caregiving, which means I’m comfortable following instructions closely, giving meds if needed, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I can accommodate whatever kenneling or crate needs are required at the location care is taking place, as well as follow any potty routine your dog needs. I always respect your home, keep things tidy, and send photo updates so you know your pet is doing okay.
About: In September 2023 I retired from the Seattle area. I’m now open in the Sherman/Denison, Texas area. I have a flexible schedule and time to care for dogs. After almost a decade of watching dogs in my home I am currently focusing on caring for your dog in your house. I'm a small business owner with years of experience in the medical care field as a nurse’s aide, physician’s assistant, EKG tech, and home health aide. I am also a teacher, writer, researcher and editor. I adopt senior dogs so am very aware of the issues that our older canines face. Four of mine have had eye issues so I’m very comfortable with administering eye drops and salves. I can also pill dogs, give injections and change dressings. I am able to accommodate special dietary needs. I look forward to meeting you. Why I love dog sitting While I've loved dogs my whole life, I didn't get my own dog until 2005 when I adopted Simba, a 10 year old Chinese Crested. Pixie and Marvin were seniors when I adopted them. Bizbee and Charlie were permanent fosters. I love the Chinese crested personality and cuteness! I love all dogs but especially love our senior citizens. I currently do not have a dog but will someday in the future. Watching and walking dogs is my full-time profession. All my energy is devoted to taking care of dogs. I screen dogs carefully to make sure we are a good fit. While in your home I follow your guidelines so you have peace of mind while you are away. It will be wonderful to see your dog in its familiar environment.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
