“Ava was great! She went above and beyond her task. She helped with Amazon packages and also took care of our fish. She sent updates regularly it put my mind at ease leaving him.”

“Adriana was wonderful watching and taking care of my 3 cats!!!! She spent extra time cuddling with them and giving them play time with toys! Even cleaned their litter boxes which she didn’t have to do! Very communicative as well! Thank you for going above and beyond for our sweet girls they were well taken care of 🥰❤️”

“Teresa is the best!! She took care of my cat for 3 weeks. She was really patient with him. He is messy when it comes to using his litter box but she was kind enough to understand and take care of him. Would definitely work with her in the future. Would definitely recommend her for your fur babies.”

“Great Experience with Jessica! She’s been great with our 6 month old Golden Retriever. I hadn’t used a pet sitter before so I was a little skeptical on how well it would work out. Jessica put those concerns to rest and our pup has made a new friend! Even our cats enjoy her visits and she includes them in the fur family photos she takes of the visits. Definitely recommend!!”

I was able to relax on my trip and not worry about my animals, bc I knew that they were well cared for. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I looked forward every day to the photo and report card, and laughed out loud one day when Yesi reported that she heard one of my cats snoring!!!!😸😆 I highly recommend Yesi - she’s very professional, from the meet and greet all the way through my trip. I truly had peace of mind the whole time I was gone.”

About: With 5 years of experience caring for pets for friends and family I enjoy being able to meet new pets. I have cared for pets overnight in my home, drop-in care, and last minute sitting. Being a pet owner myself I know the importance of knowing your baby is well cared for. I believe in full communication and daily updates for peace of mind. I am a remote worker with the ability to be around your pets all day and let them out to my fenced backyard to play and potty breaks. During my free time I enjoy taking pets on walks around our neighborhood or playing in the backyard with them. I have a fully fenced yard and I am at home all day giving me the flexibility to be present while I care for your pets.

“Sabrina is amazing!! We have three Shiba Inu's that can be quite a handful, but she is so great with them! She is quick to respond, and has been so helpful when I've needed last minute visits! My oldest dog is very shy and uncomfortable around people she doesn't know, but she's really warmed up to Sabrina, which makes me so happy. It is such a relief to have her come take care of our pups when my husband and I work long hours - I don't have to worry at all, knowing they're in good hands. She even sends me cute pictures of them playing! I highly recommend her and will definitely continue to book her in the future!”

Jess was amazing and really came through for us when a last minute family emergency came up. She was able to confirm and book with us the same day, which was a huge relief. Our dogs and cat all seemed comfortable with her right away and definitely took a liking to her. We really appreciate her flexibility, reliability, and care, and will continue to book with her when needed. Highly recommend!!!

She was so communicative and really took her time with my kitties! I have a really shy cat but it seemed like towards the end of her visits she got her to come out a little bit more! It’s always nice to have someone you can rely on to take care of your babies when you go out of town!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
