“The best Rover dog watcher we've ever had! Frequent updates and pictures were a great comfort. We are confident our dog was treated like their own and she probably didn't want to leave because she was so happy.”

“This was the 2nd time we boarded our baby Coco to Donessa!! She did great in taking care of Coco and ensured that she was communicating the updates about Coco with us. Quick in responding!! The good part is, that Donessa has her own two cuties. Coco loved their company. Thank you Donessa!!”

“They were the absolute best! I could not be happier that I chose them to look after my 5 month puppy, Nero. They are a great, friendly couple who kept me updated with photos and shared fun moments they had with Nero. From the moment I met them, I knew that Nero was going to be in good hands and felt very comfortable leaving him. They will always be my first choice whenever I need to board Nero.”

“Keyuana is absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our dog, giving him lots of attention, daily walks, and playtime. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!”

“Estrella Loved staying with Salene. We are so happy to find Salene. She is so kind and the communication was excellent providing updates and beautiful pictures, she treated Estrella like her own.”

“Eana was great! Very quick to respond and provided daily updates over the 4 days she provided boarding. She has a very strong understanding of dogs and provided a clean and welcoming place (house is very clean). This allowed me to be at ease over the past 4 days while I was gone. Would highly recommend Eana and will 100% reach out if I do come down to SD again.”

“Jennifer and Brian took good care of Chippy. Chipoy was so happy with them that he was sad to leave them. I would send Chippy to them for his future stay.”

“Do yourself a favor and book Britney you won’t regret it. She’s very calm and approachable so In short our fur baby felt safe. She even agreed to take our fur baby last minute when my grandfather passed say I was blown away by the gratitude you don’t get that to often anymore. Aimee Jo our 10 yr old soon the be an 11 year old is stubborn haha but she is at ease with Britney and gets along with Georgie the pug so cute our dog needs that bonding time with other fur baby’s and time outside in a yard this place is perfect till we find our home.”

“Andrew and his family took care of our three dogs for a ~10-day period. They were very friendly when we met them to see if our dogs would get along, and took care of them well during the stay. They have three dogs of their own and all six dogs got along just fine. There's a lot of land at Andrew's place (it's a rural setting, with over an acre of fenced-in land I think) and the dogs can run freely. There's even a pool if they want to swim! We had to change our return date twice due to circumstances outside our control, and each time Andrew updated the booking accordingly. Recommended!! I'd highly recommend them if you want your dogs”

“Once again, Joan is wonderful! I always feel so comfortable leaving my kids with her and her family. She is flexible, on time, and I have no doubt she loves on the kids when I’m away. Thank you, Joan!”

“Joy was great with our boy! He is diabetic so he is on a specific schedule with insulin shots and Joy kept up with his schedule perfectly. I could tell when we picked him up that he had a great time and he loves his new friend. We got plenty of updates and pictures while we were out of town which were so sweet and helpful. Will definitely be booking with her again next time we need someone to look after our baby ?”

“Bella made herself at home pretty quickly. It seemed she took to the family, their pet, and surroundings quite easily. She was given love and affection by Sheri’s family-which was evident in the photos and updates I received.”

“Grizzly had a wonderful time! They took great care of him and sent lots of photos and videos, which we really appreciated. Communication was great, and we felt very comfortable leaving him with them. Would definitely book again! 😊”

“This is my second time leaving Rizzy for an extended overnight stay with this amazing family and two sweet furry friends who make her feel like part of the family. They are communcative, responsive, and acccomdating as needed. Thank you so much, Rizzy is missing you all.”

“Kathryn was great! First time booking with a Rover and it was a great experience! Willy was well loved and returned home exhausted from all of his fun playtime.”

“Chorus (our 6 months young puppy) had a great time with Holly & family during his first stay. We received updates & pictures during the stay. Chorus received food on time. During pick up, we got a little late but Holly was very supportive and flexible. Thank you so much!”

“Sonyta and Alan are outstanding caretakers for our pup. I trust and know that he’ll get taken care of as a member of their family while they watch him. Always thankful for Alan and Sonyta and I look forward to future bookings. Thank you!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
