“Samantha will be the only one I trust to watch my gunner moving forward. I genuinely felt she loved my boy just as much as I did and gunner must of felt it because he loved her immediately. This was my first time using anything outside of boarding and as long as she is available this will be my first option moving forward.”

“Danielle was great with our two dogs. She was very dependable and very transparent through the whole process. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing someone to go the extra mile with their pets.”

About: We have lots of room for your dog to play on our 1 acre lot! Lots of toys to play with and if they like to swim we have a pool! Me and my wife both work from home so we have plenty of time to care for your pets! My wife is only part-time and has lots of fun with dogs. We have a large fenced in backyard plus an additional fence area and three separate dog crates small medium and large. Our dog is socialized and loves other dogs to play with.
“Estefania was wonderful. This was my first time using a dog sitter service and it was a great experience. She was attentive to my dog’s needs and was very accommodating. I will definitely be requesting Estefania for future trips.”

“Tom was very responsive and arrived to take care of my fur babies exactly as requested. If our schedules match up, I would not hesitate to request his assistance again in the future.”

About: I've loved animals from a young age. It all started with black labs for duck hunting. I was a vet assistant and horseshoer for many years. I've had dozens of personal pets throughout my life, and am now looking to love on and help care for other people's furry friends. I am recently retired and need something to occupy my time and give me purpose. When thinking about what I'm passionate about, animals is what is first to come to mind. I am up early and start my day with a walk. I am home most everyday and have a very flexible schedule to accommodate your pets needs. I have a fenced, clean yard with a covered patio. Plenty of space to roam and run. There is a water hose for plenty of water available. I have a glass back door looking outside. I can bring them inside the house as needed.
“Bobbie took great care of our dog and Kitty! Our animals usually dont immediately take to strangers, and even won't eat. Not with Bobbie! They took to her immediately and ate normally the entire week we were gone! We highly recommend her!”

About: I typically help neighbors & family with their pets when they’ve gone out of town many times. Walking, feeding, medicine, baths, etc. My parents recently got puppies that I helped raise from a month old! 💙 I work from home as a video marketer & work part time door dashing, which allows my schedule to be insanely flexible to help out with play time, walks, & drop by visits. 😎 I often help my elderly people bring their groceries all the way to the kitchen. I make sure to greet the animals, let them build confidence & trust, before entering the homes. My intention is to leave a safe impact on the house.

I’m also a proud pet mom to Charlie, my 6 year old Australian Shepherd. He’s an energetic Aries, a total mama’s boy, and my best friend and he can totally vouch for how much I love animals! 🐾 I currently work from home full-time, so my schedule is very flexible and can work with pet owners so that my personal pet care works best for their schedule! As an Australian Shepherd dog mom, I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes in a variety of settings, whether at home, on walks, or alongside other furry friends. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of building trust with both pets and their owners. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Van Alstyne with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
