About: I absolutely love animals and can’t wait to love on your pumpkin like they are my own! I will attend to all details no matter how in-depth they are and make sure your pets and home are content and safe when you return! Our pets are our world and we will soon be volunteering at CHS. I would love to see more fur babies in my day to day life! I have a very flexible work schedule and can take my break at any time. This allows me to help most times of day, provided that daytime care visits aren’t too long in duration. For house sitting, I will not be able to spend the night. However, I will ensure your pets get all the care and time they deserve. I will not be able to care for pets in my own home. Unfortunately we are not optimally set up for this with a member of the household with a dog allergy and lack of a fenced in yard.
“Ms. Lindsey was awesome! She is highly responsive and responsible, super easy to work with and highly flexible. From the very first time we met, I could tell she is a true animal lover and my pets would be in the best hands. I will definitely contact Lindsey again and highly recommend her! I truly appreciate her and can’t thank her enough!”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the level of care and attention I give to each animal. I take the time to understand a pet’s routine and personality. Especially any specific needs they have so feel safe and comfortable. I aim treat every pet as if they were my own I have always loved animals and I'm pretty good with them. I enjoy building time into my routine to interact with animals and provide companionship I have experience with multiple pets and respect any boundaries or instructions given to me. I will do my best to fit any specific needs
About: Aside from being a pet owner my entire life I have cared for others pets short term & long term. I’m able to tailor my style of care to your dogs wants and needs. I’m always home except for when I go to work which is 10 minutes away. I come home on my hour break to check on everyone. Total care from medication administration to bath time you name it and I can do it no problem. I love animals and they love me!!
“Jonah is a fantastic cat sitter! She always sends the cutest updates and takes the best pictures of my numerous cats. I am always at ease when I go away for vacation or work when Jonah sits, since I know she’ll take great care of them. I recommend her to basically everyone!”

About: I have always pet sit for my family, feed fish, walk dogs, and take care of the horses.I’ve always kinda be the one to be called on to take care of the pets. I am currently a junior in high school and attend Valley High School.I currently have three dogs and a cat in my household, who are all my little babies. I have a fenced in back yard,3 friendly dogs which are medium sized and small sized,I also have a 9 month old kitten, and have a nice cool room for them to cool off during the heat!

“Allie was fantastic to work with and really has a love for animals. She even brought my sweet boy a toy on Christmas while he was in her care during the holiday, which was so kind. Would definitely book again!”

About: Im doing this full time. Im also doing this because I love and care for animals and their wellbeing. I believe finding someone good and kind for your fur babies matter. But since I’m doing this full time the only reason I wouldn’t be able to do anything would be if I’m already booked for that. I will also be available for Christmas and thanksgiving unless I end up getting booked. But letting everyone know in case they want to plan ahead! I always end up treating an animal like my own. I make sure they get plenty of pets and attention. I don’t let their water run out and refill as much as possible especially during summer. I am understanding and patient with animals especially if they have high energy and need to be outside a bit more than others to get some exercise/ energy out. I care about animals period. I have a pretty big range of experience with different dogs. I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at a time different sizes and ages. I’ve taken care of a diabetic cat (my baby she lived a very long life 19 years) I have taken care of a diabetic dog also. I got a puppy 8-weeks who is now 5 years old which he is a husky so very energetic and talkative. Taken care of giving elderly dogs medicine. I communicate pretty well. I also make taking care of your fur babies a priority. Thank you for choosing me! I can house sit and stay overnights if needed. I will make taking care of your fur babies a priority and treat them as if their were mine. (I have a husky) If you do a drop in visit I will be there longer than just 30 minutes. I don’t like to leave my baby for more than 4-5 hours max. That’s why I offer going to drop in 4 times. I can always adjust the price accordingly. I don’t mind traveling to make sure your fur baby is taken care of throughout the day. I can take your fur baby walking giving them water and some love. If you have a fenced in yard I will still go and watch them outside you never know what could happen. I will update you as much as you would like.
About: I would love to take care of your fur babies. I am also a college athlete so I can play and run around with your dogs outside. I am just a student so the only thing that I would have each day would be class. I have made my schedule to where I do not have a lot of classes each day and my classes end early. I do not have my family dog with me so I will treat every animal that I sit like my own. I am very energetic so I will make sure the dogs that I sit will get the exercise they need.
“Very happy to have Brent and Connie’s help. They are reliable, spend time loving on our dogs and do a great job communicating. We will definitely use them again.”

When I am home, 100% of my times will be devoted to your pets. I have a fenced in yard that is .5 acre. Dogs will have plenty of room to run out energy. Dogs are allowed on furniture.

“The best Dogsitter I’ve ever had! She went above and beyond to make sure my dog (and my house) were safe and taken care of. She watched my dog during the big freeze and so it was an especially stressful time to be out and doing things, but she made sure everything was good and my dog was happy, even in the bad weather!”

“First time booking with Rover so was a little nervous about the whole thing but Madison did an amazing job! Really love the updates and pictures each time she came!!! Will definitely be booking with her again in the future 😊”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
