About: I have two dogs of my own, and been around dogs my entire life. Have dog sat for family and co-workers before. New to Rover, but would treat your four legged best friend like it was my own pet! I am new to the Opelika area and between jobs. Currently, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and can make any day of the week work. I do have two dogs of my own at home, that I would need to make sure are taken care of , but currently can make any day or time of day work for your animals schedule. I will gladly follow any rules or guidelines you have set for your fur baby so they can continue their routine when you are not home. If they need to go on walks, or just play in the backyard!

About: I have always loved animals. I started walking my neighbors dog when I was 15. I have dog sat for many ranging from family, friends, neighbors, and mutuals. I am a recent Auburn grad and do not currently have a full time job. Not many jobs offer me a flexible schedule like this does and I am trying to save money and keep my self busy post-grad. I am always available unless otherwise noted on my calendar. I do not have a dog in Auburn, only when I travel to Foley to stay with family is there a dog in the house. I will abide by the owners preferences but I don’t promise I won’t fall in love with your dog. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs and will take care of them as they are my own. I will give your dog as much attention as he or she wants.

About: I have loved dogs all of my life and have always had one. I connect with any and every dog that I come across. When you are away I want you to have the peace of mind that someone that cares is taking care of your dog. Your dog is apart of your family, and I will treat it like that! I am able to walk all sizes of dogs, and have experience with many large breed dogs. I prefer to take care of bigger dogs, because that is what I love to do. I have experience with labs all the way up to Great Danes (my favorite)!! I currently own a Great Dane who gets along with any dog. I work full time during the week, but am home most weekends. When I am home, 100% of my times will be devoted to your pets. I have a fenced in yard that is .5 acre. Dogs will have plenty of room to run out energy. Dogs are allowed on furniture.

About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)

About: Hi! My name is Madeja, and I honestly can’t imagine a full, happy life without pets. Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve worked in education and the nonprofit sector since 2015, so patience, responsibility, structure, and clear communication are a big part of who I am. I bring that same care and attentiveness to every pet I look after. I’ve had pets my entire life, starting with my first dog, Gin Gin, a Shih Tzu, and my second dog, Biggie Smalls, a toy poodle. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for many animals, including Chance, my Shih Tzu of 13 years; Malibu, my pit bull of 13 years; Newman, my cockapoo of 12 years; and Nacho, my cat of 4 years. My day naturally includes feeding, walks/potty breaks, playtime, cleaning, cuddle time, and keeping pets on a consistent routine. I’m comfortable adjusting to each pet’s schedule, whether they need structure, extra attention, medication reminders, puppy care, senior care, or just companionship while their family is away. I’m flexible, communicative, and will make sure your pet gets the care, patience, and love they deserve. Your pet will be treated like family in my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house with a backyard, living room, kitchen, and dining room. I provide a calm, loving, and pet-friendly environment with close supervision, plenty of attention, and space for pets to feel comfortable. Depending on their needs, pets will have independence in a pet-friendly home, while still being safely monitored and cared for. I have two friendly dogs, but I understand that every pet has different comfort levels, so I can separate pets, use crates, provide quiet space, and follow your preferred routine as needed. I keep water available, monitor behavior closely, and pay attention to eating, potty habits, energy levels, and mood changes. My background in education and caregiving has taught me the importance of patience, safety, consistency, and clear communication. Your pet will be loved and cared for as if they were my own.

About: Was a human nurse, now I'm a full time student. I have raised two children and I own dog and two cats, caring is in my nature. I am a furgrandma to two beautiful amazing dogs. I work M-F at an office job with flexibility. This allows me lots of freedom, my kids are 19, and 21 so no restrictions at home. I do work M-F, 8-5pm. I can leave work if need be to check on your pet more often then just the walk, and of course if I'm staying the night; I’ll be right over after work. I will follow your instructions to the T, as long as it's safe for the animal and me! I want your furbaby to feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I have taken care of dogs since for around 8 years. I started before I could drive and I would walk over to my neighbors house and feed/ play with their dogs while they were out of town. I have still continued to dog sit every once in a while when I am needed. I am a college student at Auburn University. I am also from Opelika so everyone that I have been dog sitting for in high school, I am still able to help out today. My schedule for next semester is very open and not too busy. I am also available over summer as well. I do have a goldendoodle at my parents house. She is 5 years old and loves playing with other dogs. I also have a car so I will be able to come to my clients house to take care their furry friends for as long as I am needed. Currently I live in a townhouse and would love to take care of your pets here!

About: we have taken care of pets since childhood :) we have lots of experience with pets from A-to-Z and we provide photo and videos, along with additional detailed text updates. We treat others as family, we love to spoil others, and we also provide training if needed with positive reinforcement. We also not only provide pet sitting but plant sitting as well, we are huge into gardening and we can give lots of care information and advice on any plant that you have/want. We’re always here and are happy to help, we always respond fast especially when you need us, and we love to serve others because we love making people happy <3 We both have full time availability, so we are able to provide every single service available including leash training, pet training, plant sitting, housekeeping, etc. Our dream is to be able to care for every single pet that is in need even the ones that don’t have any homes, and to be able to hang out with pups and kitties all day long and give them all of the love that they deserve :) We care for pets in our home and both our client’s home by always putting their needs first, we always stick to routines (if they have one), and we even like to take them to doggy parks, buy them toys, buy them treats, teach them new tricks, or even play with them/go on longer walks as well :)
