On top of that, she even did a little light housekeeping, which was completely unexpected and absolutely not necessary, but so appreciated. It was such a kind gesture. We came home to a happy pup and a tidy house, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. About: I’ve cared for my two family dogs, Adonis & Asha, since I was 13, gaining hands-on experience with daily routines like feeding, walking, bathing, and providing lots of love and attention. While I haven’t done professional pet sitting yet, I understand how important it is to treat pets like family. I’m reliable, caring, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe and happy while you’re away. I’m currently working part-time, while getting my Master’s at Auburn online! So I’m free pretty much all day long to care for and love on your pups while you’re away! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow the pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of playtime or walks, and have a clean space. I also pay close attention to any special instructions—whether it’s medications, quirks, or favorite toys. I treat every pet like they’re my own, with patience, care, and love.

About: I have two dogs of my own, and been around dogs my entire life. Have dog sat for family and co-workers before. New to Rover, but would treat your four legged best friend like it was my own pet! I am new to the Opelika area and between jobs. Currently, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and can make any day of the week work. I do have two dogs of my own at home, that I would need to make sure are taken care of , but currently can make any day or time of day work for your animals schedule. I will gladly follow any rules or guidelines you have set for your fur baby so they can continue their routine when you are not home. If they need to go on walks, or just play in the backyard!

About: As an animal science major I have been around many animals, I love being around dogs and taking care of them. I have my own dog who is 5 years old she is a sensitive dog and has many allergy issues I have experience bathing and giving medication to her. I have plenty of time to play and care for your fur babies from walking to house/dog sitting I am available. I have a online class I attend Monday-Thursdays from 11am-2pm. I am free to work around that, or if you are looking for house sitting options I can watch your dog at your home anytime since my class is online over zoom. I provide care at the client's home, I usually follow the client's schedule for the care needed such as walks, feeding, playtime, medication, and bathing.

About: I have always loved animals. I started walking my neighbors dog when I was 15. I have dog sat for many ranging from family, friends, neighbors, and mutuals. I am a recent Auburn grad and do not currently have a full time job. Not many jobs offer me a flexible schedule like this does and I am trying to save money and keep my self busy post-grad. I am always available unless otherwise noted on my calendar. I do not have a dog in Auburn, only when I travel to Foley to stay with family is there a dog in the house. I will abide by the owners preferences but I don’t promise I won’t fall in love with your dog. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs and will take care of them as they are my own. I will give your dog as much attention as he or she wants.

About: Was a human nurse, now I'm a full time student. I have raised two children and I own dog and two cats, caring is in my nature. I am a furgrandma to two beautiful amazing dogs. I work M-F at an office job with flexibility. This allows me lots of freedom, my kids are 19, and 21 so no restrictions at home. I do work M-F, 8-5pm. I can leave work if need be to check on your pet more often then just the walk, and of course if I'm staying the night; I’ll be right over after work. I will follow your instructions to the T, as long as it's safe for the animal and me! I want your furbaby to feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I have loved dogs all of my life and have always had one. I connect with any and every dog that I come across. When you are away I want you to have the peace of mind that someone that cares is taking care of your dog. Your dog is apart of your family, and I will treat it like that! I am able to walk all sizes of dogs, and have experience with many large breed dogs. I prefer to take care of bigger dogs, because that is what I love to do. I have experience with labs all the way up to Great Danes (my favorite)!! I currently own a Great Dane who gets along with any dog. I work full time during the week, but am home most weekends. When I am home, 100% of my times will be devoted to your pets. I have a fenced in yard that is .5 acre. Dogs will have plenty of room to run out energy. Dogs are allowed on furniture.

About: I have taken care of dogs since for around 8 years. I started before I could drive and I would walk over to my neighbors house and feed/ play with their dogs while they were out of town. I have still continued to dog sit every once in a while when I am needed. I am a college student at Auburn University. I am also from Opelika so everyone that I have been dog sitting for in high school, I am still able to help out today. My schedule for next semester is very open and not too busy. I am also available over summer as well. I do have a goldendoodle at my parents house. She is 5 years old and loves playing with other dogs. I also have a car so I will be able to come to my clients house to take care their furry friends for as long as I am needed. Currently I live in a townhouse and would love to take care of your pets here!

About: I’ve always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian growing up. Now, as a pre-nursing student at AU, I still love having the opportunity to care for others — especially animals. I grew up with a childhood dog that I was completely inseparable from. Even when I was little, I helped feed her, walk her, play with her, and even helped with training. Those experiences are a huge part of why I love pet care so much today. My family now has two dogs that we got while I was in high school, and I love visiting them every chance I get. I’m definitely the type of person who immediately gravitates toward the dog at any social gathering. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors since I was around 10 years old, and even more frequently once I started driving at 16. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means going on runs with high-energy dogs or taking slower walks and giving extra comfort and attention to more relaxed pets. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and so loved while their owners are away. I also worked on a ranch last summer where I cared for dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. Although I didn’t grow up with cats, I’ve done plenty of cat sitting over the years and absolutely love them as well. I know every cat is different, and I’m always patient and attentive to their routines and comfort level. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work a 9–5 job during the week, but I have an hour lunch break that gives me flexibility for walks, check-ins, or midday care. I also usually go on a run in the mornings and take walks after work or after dinner, so I’m very used to staying active and would love bringing a dog along if they enjoy extra exercise. On weekends, I’m available all day and have a much more flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight care. I live in a two-level apartment/townhouse with plenty of space for pets to be comfortable and move around. There’s grass right outside for easy bathroom breaks and walks, plus a balcony and a dog park within my apartment complex for extra exercise and playtime. I keep a clean, safe, and calm environment and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine. I know consistency is important for animals, so I always try to keep them comfortable by following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely.
