About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. I had a diabetic cat who also had seizures. I nursed her basically back to health and she lived 5 more years after her first seizure. She was 19 years old when she finally passed. My whole family has had cats all my life. Every fur animal has a different personality that you just have to learn.

About: Homeport - Indoor accommodation for your pet with large wooded lot on a private road in Harris County. A large deck to lay in the sunshine on pretty afternoons. Indoors we have an open floor plan that the pets are free to roam in. The pets are free or crated overnight based on your preference. We have a 7 pound Yorkie Poo who gets along with our houseguests, dogs or cats! We should have a meet and greet prior to them checking in at Homeport. We can schedule a meet and greet at my home for you and your pup to meet me and I y’all. I’ll be very flexible on the schedule of that. I walk them twice a day if your babies are accustomed to leash walking and have them out on the deck with other guests for playtime twice a day. You will receive at least one picture of their romping or napping everyday. I charge by the calendar day. The day you pick up (or I pick up) your pet and the day you drop off (or I drop them off) are both days that I have to accommodate you and your pet into my schedule and pet care is provided.I offer the service of taking your pet home the day of your arrival so that they will be there when you arrive home. Please let me know when you make your reservations what times you wish to schedule for pickup/drop-off and give me at least 24 hours notice if you need to make changes. Growing up with dogs gave me years of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after them, and making sure they were happy, healthy, and well cared for. When we later brought home a puppy, I took on much of the responsibility for raising and caring for it. The puppy stayed with me in my room, so I was responsible for feeding, supervising, helping with potty training, keeping a consistent routine, and making sure it felt safe and comfortable as it grew. I will make taking care of your fur babies a priority and treat them as if their were mine. (I have a husky) If you do a drop in visit I will be there longer than just 30 minutes. I don’t like to leave my baby for more than 4-5 hours max. That’s why I offer going to drop in 3 times. I can always adjust the price accordingly. I don’t mind traveling to make sure your fur baby is taken care of throughout the day. I can take your fur baby walking giving them water and some love. If you have a fenced in yard I will still go and watch them outside you never know what could happen. I will update you as much as you would like.

About: I have two dogs of my own, and been around dogs my entire life. Have dog sat for family and co-workers before. New to Rover, but would treat your four legged best friend like it was my own pet! I am new to the Opelika area and between jobs. Currently, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and can make any day of the week work. I do have two dogs of my own at home, that I would need to make sure are taken care of , but currently can make any day or time of day work for your animals schedule. I will gladly follow any rules or guidelines you have set for your fur baby so they can continue their routine when you are not home. If they need to go on walks, or just play in the backyard!

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the level of care and attention I give to each animal. I take the time to understand a pet’s routine and personality. About: As an animal science major I have been around many animals, I love being around dogs and taking care of them. I have my own dog who is 5 years old she is a sensitive dog and has many allergy issues I have experience bathing and giving medication to her. I have plenty of time to play and care for your fur babies from walking to house/dog sitting I am available. I have a online class I attend Monday-Thursdays from 11am-2pm. I am free to work around that, or if you are looking for house sitting options I can watch your dog at your home anytime since my class is online over zoom.
