About: I’ve taken care of family and roommates’ pets and am now branching out. I grew up with dogs, fish, rabbits, rats and frogs so I am no stranger to animals. About: I have cared for pets since I was 13. In the last 5 years I have dog-sat and cat-sat for many coworkers and friends. Most recently, I lived in Washington and often looked after two huskies, Bonnie and Clyde, and one small dog, Winston. Since then I have adopted a cat named Gus. Gus is the bestest boy. I work weekdays from 0800-1430 and off most weekends. There are certain days I am off work, but for the most part it’s a steady schedule. I have my cat at home and for care we make sure to keep a very clean environment. Gus also enjoys walks on his stroller and going out and having fun. Gus is a very playful cat and we make sure to keep him active by keeping active toys with him at all times.

About: I used to be a dog walker with a private company here in Virginia Beach and have plenty of experience with dogs—including our own stubborn but sweet 7-year-old terrier mix. I also have a cat who mostly minds her own business! I live in a great neighborhood in Chic’s Beach with a fenced yard and is just a short walk from the beach. I often take the dogs to the beach or nearby dog parks for fun, safe playtime and exercise. I recently left my full-time job at a medical office to support our busy family schedule, and I’m now a certified personal trainer—so staying active with dogs fits perfectly into my lifestyle. My two teenagers love pets and are great with animals too but they will not be part of the pet sitting services. Your pup will feel right at home here—loved, safe, and part of the pack. As a certified personal trainer, I have a flexible schedule and stay active throughout the day. I’m available for dog walks between 12 PM and 5 PM, with morning and evening walks available upon request. Boarding is also available—just reach out to coordinate dates! We have a fully fenced yard in a safe, quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the beach and a 5-minute drive to local dog parks. About: I've taken care of cats my whole life as we always had cats in my household growing up. We added a dog to our family when I was 15. That is when I started learning about dog training and care. I have since helped train my Dad's two dogs and constantly took them for walks when I visited. I also dog sit them as well as other family pets. I recently moved to Virginia as my partner is in the Navy and got stationed out here. I currently work part-time from home. So, I am available most weekdays and I have some availability on weekends. With my flexible schedule I have plenty of time to take your dog on walks, do drop-in visits for cats and dogs, and dog sit. I currently do not have any pets in my home. While taking care of your pets I will be able to do drop-in visits while you are away, take your dogs on walks, as well as dog or cat sit in your home.

With my open schedule, I am selective about caring for pets in my home. This is just because I am out and about throughout the day and I always like to make sure that everyone is comfortable especially my own pets. I am fortunate enough that I can take my pup with me to most of my clients houses if I need to spend the night there, which Offers bigger flexibility, and me being able to provide in your home care or occasionally bringing pups to my house! I do have numerous trails around me to walk on, the beach is very close and I do have a gated back deck. I do not do any off leash walks with clients pups while I’m out in order to make sure that everybody is safe at all times. I typically also do not allow dogs to say hi to other dogs as well as people. There are very few extenuating circumstances where I know that dogs are familiar with other people in their neighborhoods, but to ensure safety first and foremost, I am always very careful! For me, making sure that everybody feels safe, calm, and happy. I have just found these practices to be extremely effective and have never had issues with clients!

About: I have experience with a wide variety of animals in different shapes, sizes, and ages. I have years of experience petsitting, my most recent being 4 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a bird on a single farm. So, it is safe to say I have had my hands full in certain situations. I have never had any complaints, just compliments. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, and fish for my entire life, allowing me the experience to provide exceptional care for your “babies”.
