“Shelby was great! I was a little worried leaving my dog for a week because he usually stays with family/friends. Shelby sent me daily updates and pictures which made me much more at ease and I could enjoy my trip. He got daily walks/activities when it was extra rainy. She was very responsive and stayed in touch when I thought my flight would be delayed, she was available to continue watching him if needed. I would 100% leave him with Shelby again.”

“Highly recommend Martha! This was my first time leaving my pup with someone I didn’t know, and she put all my worries to bed after the meet and greet. Sent daily pictures and messages, so I knew my dog was having a nice time :) Very attentive to the details I laid out and responsive to any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire experience and left my house just like it was when she arrived. I would book her again and would easily recommend her to anyone else!”

About: Skilled pet sitter with 3 years of experience. I sincerely enjoy spending time with all animals and I strive to treat every cat or dog as if they were my own! Happy to help when and where I'm needed along with providing any critical care that may be required. Please know that I will gladly spoil your pet to the fullest extent (: I'm currently working part-time while also being in the Army National Guard! I tend to be free majority of the week and normally the weekends as well if I don't have drill. Please feel free to message me with any availability inquiries that you may have (: If boarding, I have a fenced in yard along with a spacious home that includes french doors that I can close off from the rest of my house in case I'm babysitting a small kitten or puppy that may require a watchful eye!

“Sage was available last minute and we were happy to have him take care of our two Aussie’s while out of town a few days. They were happy and well cared for until his care.”

“Sarah was fantastic- she was flexible and able to hop in with my pup at the last minute, was super responsive, and did a wonderful and respectful job taking care of my 16 year old dog with special needs. Strongly recommended”

“Nikki is amazing! We have a pup that has a lot of anxiety so it’s always nerve racking leaving him with someone new. He warmed up to her almost instantly! She has great communication and left the house nicer than when we left. Highly recommend her!”

“Caroline took excellent care of our house and pets! She handled multiple feeding schedules, cat medication, dog walking needs, and left the house clean with sheets and towels washed! She communicated with me daily to provide photos and updates. I feel so lucky to have found Caroline! We hope to book her as our housesitter again in the future.”

“Marybeth is truly awesome! She was fantastic at communicating—always sending me the most adorable pictures and keeping me constantly updated. I came home to a spotless house, and I could tell my sweet Charlie absolutely loved her. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.

“Keyona was amazing. I've never used a dog sitter before and I didn't know Keyona, so I was nervous. But Keyona was so professional, responsible, and hard working, and she loved our dog instantly. She checked in often to send updates and photos and I knew our dog was in good hands. I will book Keyona whenever we're out of town. Highly recommend!”

“Caitlin was wonderful with my two dogs. She was extremely responsive from the start--even before the stay--and communicated often during the stay with pictures and to give updates. One of my dogs has some allergy issues that require as-needed oral medication, and Caitlin was great about reaching out to update me on my dog's symptoms and then giving him the medicine. My dog also has pretty bad separation anxiety. Caitlin was wonderful with him and my dog even warmed up to her after a day or so--he's usually skittish when I'm gone, so that's really saying something!”

Us Naval Base pet parents share their Rover experiences
We have been so happy with our Rover sitters and Chandra is fantastic. We know how much she loves sitting for our sweet old girl Ahi. Having an ageing dog is worrisome when having to leave them but we know she’s in great hands with Chandra. From our first meeting she seemed very responsible confident sitting for a larger older dog and has managed her medications and new changes so well. That is huge for us and we will continue to book her again!

Monty provided wonderful care for Jello while I was out of the country. They were super responsive when I checked in and sent photos most days, which I really appreciated. They were also great about adapting to my 15 month old’s puppy energy and zoomies, which is no easy feat. Would absolutely book with Monty again.

Heather was an absolutely amazing sitter for our cat Lizzie. Lizzie has not had many sitters and she usually takes a while to warm up to new people but she was cuddling immediately because Heather has great energy and takes such good care of your pet. She's kind and caring, made sure to update us at every step along the way, took great pictures, and really showed our girl the kind of love and attention that all pets need when you're away! Everything was super easy and we would HIGHLY recommend Heather.

Madelyne did a wonderful job of caring for our home and cats. She went above and beyond the call of duty by taking extra measures to save some of our newly planted flowers. She also washed and folded the sheets and towels we used, something we very much appreciate. Thank you, Madelyne, for doing such a great job!

Sage was very caring and attentive to our two rescue dogs. He sent text and photo updates daily, gave meds and food on a schedule, and gave them lots of love. This was the second time he watched our dogs at our home, and he will be the first dogsitter we contact for future housesits!
