About: I've had several years of experience taking care of dogs, hamsters, and even the elderly. I worked for PETCO and routinely maintained the health and happiness of all the pets we housed. Now, my sister and I take care of the neighborhood cats and chickens when they come and visit. I currently work at my own time so anytime is perfect for me. Unless I am helping another client, your services will be no problem!

“Karlin was amazing. She was able to do a last minute meet and greet with our dogs. Thank you Karlin for taking Tank on nice long walk and verifying their water levels at the house. Hopefully Tank and your dog get to meet one day for play dates. He has so much energy and needed that walk. We will be using you in the future!”

“Chloe is dedicated to walking my pup who loves her. She braves all weather conditions and schedule changes with a good attitude. My dog Sophie gets the zoomies after every walk.”

“Deana was great at communication, recording the walks, and keeping my pup so happy! Will use again. If your dog/pet is your best friend/baby, you can trust that Deana will take amazing care of them!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Very familiar with various breeds and ages. I have one pomsky dog myself who is 4 years old and very friendly. Currently work from home so am able to be with your dog 24/7 while under my care. I work remotely so I am able to be home all day, giving plenty of attention to your fur baby. I also live across the street from the levee and go on at least two hour long walks a day with my dog. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog myself who would love some friends to play with. My home is structured so they have plenty of room inside to run around as well. I allow my dog on the sofa and in my bed!

About: As a proud puppy parent to a playful 2-year-old, I know exactly what it takes to care for dogs with both heart and structure. Whether your dog needs snuggles, playtime, or a little gentle discipline, I bring the perfect balance of fun and responsibility. I’m all about making sure your furry friend feels loved, safe, and completely cared for—because that’s what I’d want for mine. From belly rubs to structured walks, your pup will be treated like family from start to finish. I work from home with flexible hours, available for walks anytime. After 4 PM weekdays and weekends are wide open to care for your dogs fully. I ensure dogs stay safe always, using crates if needed. I’m attentive and constantly watchful to keep them secure and comfortable at all times in my care

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

“Devin was amazing! He watched my son’s two dogs for 3 days while he was out of town for a family event They are strong energetic dogs, a pit Bull and a pit/catahoula mix, and they loved Devin. He kept us informed, took great pictures, long walks and was extremely reliable and trustworthy. We would definitely use Devin again and highly recommend him. It’s obvious he loves dogs and knows how to handle them.”

About: I’ve had pets (dogs and cats) for nearly my entire life! I have a genuine love for all animals and am very attentive & patient. I currently have 3 cats with 3 entirely different personalities, a sweet senior dog, and a fiesty little hamster. Tell me your needs & they shall be met! I work part-time and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I will work with your requests and be very upfront about expectations before the scheduled visits. I am offering to come to the pet’s home and provide care for them there. Before you’re away, we will schedule a meet up to go over everything. I’m happy to spend as much or as little time with your pets as you desire!

About: I worked for 5 years as a doggy-daycare employee and trainer, and I’ve had dogs and cats all my life! I even have cherished memories helping my aunt deliver puppies on our farm growing up. I am a high-energy, extroverted person, and I love playing with animals and giving them love. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I have been trained in tactics to keep myself and your dog safe, happy, and healthy! Friends and family members have entrusted me in the past for dog-walking, babysitting, house sitting, plant watering, etc. as I am clean, respectful, quiet, and trustworthy! I have also cared for unconventional pets in the past such as snakes, lizards, Guinea pigs, horses, goats, chickens, among others! I recently completed my Masters degree and seeking full-time employment in my field, so I have a very open schedule. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I care for pets with just as much attention as I do with kids when I babysit! When I meet your dog, I’ll let them get a good sniff so they can know me better, then depending on the dog I will play with them or pet them to strengthen our bond! I think creating trust between myself and the dog makes a better experience for the both of us! I am happy to cuddle and cradle your dog, or take them to the park to get their energy out!

“I booked with Diana on late notice and she was very accommodating. My pup has a lot of energy and she did a great job of getting him the exercise he needs. Highly recommend!”

About: have over 20 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds. My background includes working and volunteering with the SPCA, serving as a zoo docent, and handling a wide variety of animals at rescue centers—from exotic species like big cats, sloths, and monkeys to beloved household pets. As a retired school teacher, I bring patience, responsibility, and a focus on safety to every interaction. I believe in creating positive, loving, and fun experiences while always prioritizing the well-being of each animal in my care. I have extensive hands-on experience as both a dog owner and dog sitter, and I currently run my own small business, Swan’s Emergency Pet Care, which provides reliable, last-minute pet sitting and home care. I work from home, which allows me to provide round-the-clock care and attention to your pets. Because I’m home throughout the day and night, I can ensure your pet’s needs are met with consistency, safety, and plenty of love. Each pet has its own private space—no group boarding—so your puppy won’t be stressed by interacting with unfamiliar dogs. This one-on-one, personalized approach ensures a calm, safe, and loving environment with Central AC. Lots of playtime. I also have a large, fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. Each boarding stay includes the option of a morning walk, along with daily updates, videos, and pictures, so you’ll always know how your fur baby is doing. There is my baby OYA who stays with me in a separate unit with little no interaction. For in-home pet sitting or house sitting, I provide the same level of personalized care, treating your home and pets with the utmost respect and responsibility.

About: Passionate pet sitter committed to personalized care. Years of experience providing compassionate care, ensuring tails wag and purrs persist. I've worked with the SPCA, neighbors, and my own furry companions. Your pet's well-being is my priority! I’m a full-time petsitter so have flexibility to accommodate your schedule. I’m available during business hours or after hours for those requiring extra special care. I have a secured home where pets can roam, and a fully-fenced backyard. Depending on your specific needs, your pets could spend time with me indoors, on walks, at the dog park, and with me in the backyard, if weather permits. Pet camera shared with you while you pooch rests while you're away.

About: I am a flexible, reliable dog owner and lover. I understand the amount of energy dogs can have, and I work to meet their individual needs. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality. I am available many days of the week to take care of your babies while you are away at work. I also have an older dog with special needs, so I am understanding of dogs with disabilities or medical needs, and I know how scary it can be to leave your senior dogs with someone new. I am available to take your dog on plenty of walks through out the day to ensure that they are getting the exercise and attention they need. I have taken care of dogs for many years and I understand how important they are to a family, so I strive to treat everyone's dog as my own. I have toys and leashes and treats so that all my dogs have a great time, and to make drop off and pick up easy on the owners! I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can be available according to your dog's regular routine and needs. I like to stick to the dog's regular routine as closely as possible. I like to learn about the dog and it's owner so that I understand their usual routine, so that we can stick to what they are used to as closely as possible to minimize seperation anxiety and prevent any schedule disruptions.

Margaret O.Star Sitter
“Margaret has been a dog border for me many times over the last few years. I recommended she become a rover dog border because she is absolutely the dog whisperer! Whenever my dogs are with her, I feel so secure and can relax while I’m away because she spoils them rotten…which is what I expect for them on their “vacation!” When my dogs realize we’re going to her house they get so excited and bolt right out of the car to her front door before I can even put their leashes on. She is very physically fit and I know my dogs are walked at least three times a day. She has a beautiful walking path near her home and she knows the dogs need that sensory experience. I give her an A+ rating!”

“Cindy is an excellent dog sitter. Over the last ten years, she has cared for our dog, Lindsey. Either for a short weekend, or for an extended vacation my husband and went on. We had no worries knowing he was in good hands. Cindy lives alone and has no pets of her own because she does go out of town occasionally. She has a doggy door in her kitchen which allows Lindsey to go to her huge fenced-in back yard carpeted with St. Augustine grass. Cindy is trustworthy and reliable. Dogs don't lie, and if they like you, you know it. Cindy loves my Lindsey, and he loves her too. If Cindy is available, you would be blessed for her to care for your dog.”

We brought our dogs down for the first and needed a last minute sitter. Sherryanne was quick to respond and so easy to work with. She also did a meet and greet before we started the dog walk sessions to get familiar with the dogs. Highly recommend leaving your pups in her care.

Joey and Bodhi made an awesome duo! Joey is prompt, positive, a true dog lover, and an awesome communicator. He took Bodhi all over the city, showing him new sights and setting the bar high for any future sitter. It’s clear Bodhi misses him—he was such a great influence and brought out the best in my pup. It would be an honor to work with Joey again. Highly recommend!
