“Sybil did a fantastic job caring for my two dogs while I was away! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loved animals, and my adult dogs instantly took to her. She gave them plenty of exercise, affection, and attention, and I received regular updates and photos. I couldn't be more pleased with Sybil's services. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. I look forward to using you again. Thank you, Sybil, for your outstanding care!”
“Ashanti stepped in at the last minute to help with my pup, and she was so easy to with despite the fact that this was our first time booking together! She responded quickly, ensured all was taken care of, and provided great feedback on the visit. Definitely recommend and will be booking with again in the future!”

“Avery was amazing! We felt completely at ease knowing Aoki and Millie were in such great hands while we were away for the weekend. It was so nice to see how happy and comfortable they were during her visits. We especially appreciated all of the pictures and updates she sent each day. It made being away from them so much easier and gave us peace of mind knowing they were being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. We’re incredibly grateful for Avery and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and thoughtful pet sitter. We would happily book with her again!”

About: I’m 30 and have had dogs my entire life. I have two of our own — a 36-lb mini Sheepadoodle and a 13-lb Yorkie mix — so used to different sizes and energy levels. I regularly dog sit for friends, and often have their dogs stay with us while they’re on vacation. I am very comfortable having extra dogs in the house and keeping things structured and calm. I live in a home with two separate fenced yards, so there’s plenty of safe space to play or relax. My job permits me to work from home often, which means the dogs aren’t be left alone for long stretches. I also volunteer with the SPCA 3–4 times a month (10+ hours), working hands-on with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’m a full-time realtor, so my schedule is flexible and I work from home often. That allows me to be around consistently and adjust my day as needed for walks, playtime, and supervision. I am active with our own dogs — take them to the park as often as possible and walk them 2–4 times per week. Staying engaged with them is already part of my routine, so adding another dog fits naturally into the day. I home with two separate fenced-in yards, which gives dogs secure outdoor space to play and relax safely. My two dogs are well-socialized and regularly exposed to family members' dogs as well as new dogs at the dog park. Because I often dog sit for friends and I volunteer regularly with the SPCA, I am very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and introductions in a calm, structured way.

About: I worked at Animal Care Clinic in Lubbock for over a year, and about to start working at a VCA clinic here in Dallas. I love dogs and I’m excited to meet your babies and take great care of them! I have 2 dogs of my own, and I’d greatly appreciate the opportunity to get to take care of your dogs as well. I’ve been on Rover since 2020, I’ve also been taking care of my dogs and some of my friends’ dogs ever since i can remember. If you have any questions for me, just feel free to ask and I look forward to hearing from you! Hope you have a blessed day! I’m currently working at a dog boarding facility in downtown Dallas, and about to start working at a VCA clinic near Highland Park! I can check in with your dogs around that schedule! Can’t wait to meet your babies! I have one reactive dog and one friendly dog, i’m working on the reactive one’s training to neutrality, but for the safety of your dogs, all services would be in your home. I like to tidy the house up after a dog-sitting by vacuuming and wiping counters!
“Camisha and Omari came to meet my two dogs. They were on time and answered all my questions. I could tell they love dogs, and would do a great job with mine for drop-ins. They even brought treats, which was nice. I will be going with them for my drop-in visits.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Urbandale-Parkdale
Ryan was seriously the best thing that could have happened for Sammy and me as a first-time puppy mom. I was definitely nervous leaving her at first, but Ryan immediately made me feel so comfortable and took such great care of her. She was reliable, communicative, and genuinely loved on Sammy like she was her own. I’m so grateful for all of her help these past couple of weeks and honestly don’t know what I would have done without her! I wish A&M wasn’t so far away! Any family would be so lucky to have her.

Erica was great! She took very good care of my dog, Abby. Abby was ill during the visit and Erica did a wonderful job administering pills and making sure my girl was OK. Erica is an extremely good communicator, very dependable, and left detailed rover cards. I highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience with Carly. My cat is very shy, and she was patient, gentle, and did her best to make him feel safe and comfortable. I was away during a freeze, and she went above and beyond by not only checking on my cat but also my home. I’m so grateful for her care and reliability and would absolutely book her again.

Cassidy was my first sitter through Rover and was such an amazing help over the holidays! She immediately bonded with Pumpkin and showed her so much love and care. She also came by beforehand to get to know Pumpkin before pet sitting and even helped out when we had an apartment flood scare. Such a positive and bright person and I couldn’t be more relieved to have found such a great sitter!
