About: I have grown up with at least two or three dogs at all times. This ranged from young puppies that were not potty trained to older dogs that needed more hands-on care. I have also grown up with three cats my entire life and people always joke that I am quick to connect with them. Although I am not a professional, I have the experience and love for animals that will ensure they’re treated as family. Originally from Southern California, I frequently volunteered with Doggie Bonez, a company where volunteers walk and play with rescue dogs. This gave me plenty of experience working with a wide range of dogs, including ones that were deemed more difficult. I also used to run a little dog walking service in my neighborhood as a child. I graduated from Southern Methodist University after studying biology. I also worked as a nanny for a family with one small and two large dogs that I regularly cared for as though they were my own. I am excited to try this app as I have recently moved out on my own and have been missing being with my pets back home. I work daily but my hours are quite varying. For this reason, I accept same day bookings and cancellations as it is difficult to know my schedule further in advance. However, I am almost always available anytime before 8am and after 4pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. Perfect for that weekend get away or just an extra long walk. I live in an apartment but very close to many parks that I pass on my walks everyday. I usually walk twice a day for 30 and 60 minutes respectively just for my own enjoyment! This makes it very doable if I need to house a pet for a short-term situation. In a client’s home, I am very thorough with following directions and never afraid to check in and ask if I am unsure of a decision. I am always respectful of someone else’s space and comfortable with any cleaning, feeding, bathing, etc. that comes with the care of the animal.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors pets and house sat for several years. I have multiple years of pet sitting and baby sitting experience in the stl area. I’m currently home for nursing school for the summer and am looking to get a part-time gig while still having time for online classes and studying. I’ve taken care of animals that have a fence and also those who need walks. I’m a big hiker so if your dogs love a hike I’d be a great fit.

“This is the first time I've had to use a pet-sitter, as I recently moved and previously was able to have family watch my cat. I was pretty anxious, but Aztrid was great! We had a meet & greet for her to meet my cat, Hodor, and go over his routine. For the actual visits, there had been some logistic issues with my community gate and Aztrid was great and patient while working with me as I tried to troubleshoot from my remote location. She was also able to accommodate my schedule for some timing changes. She took great photos and sent me great updates that helped soothe my anxiety at leaving my cat alone. He seemed very happy when I got home!”
