Our K-9 Guests Deserve the Best!

**Hello Rover Families! Thanks to your loyalty and support, we are almost fully booked for September! We still have 1 spot left for Labor Day weekend! To guarantee your pup's stay for desired dates, we highly recommend booking your Fall travel dates with us a minimum of 1 month in advance. Thank you for choosing our family! ☆ Effective June 1st, 2026, all drop-offs and pickups must occur within the following established operating hours: 7:00am to 8:00pm, in order to avoid an early or late drop-off/pickup fee.☆ Year-round flexibility and constant presence in a loving home provides peace of mind. Open space and a backyard oasis fit to offer the best in at-home quality care. Your dog's vacation is waiting! Greetings! I'm Kellie—a dedicated dog caregiver, work-from-home educator, mother of a teen Rover protégé and wife! I offer 17 years of experience hosting dogs, and have welcomed many into my home for several years via the first pet caregiver platform, Dog Vacay, now known as Rover. Although I'm generally the face of marketing and caregiving, my husband, Richard, has worked graciously and patiently alongside me in providing a double-dose of love and care to our many guests. Beyond the years of actively caring for dogs, I've advocated for pets through volunteer work at White Rock Dog and have a genuine lifetime experience of raising dogs of all breeds in my family's home. After many years of working with children in person, I have transitioned to a hybrid teaching position, allowing for ultimate flexibility and availability to you and your pup's needs. My husband, Richard, also works from home and our 16-yr-old daughter, Isabella, has built up years of impressive Rover experience alongside us, showing compassion and care to our dog guests. She happily participates in providing attention and satisfying the playful energy of our especially active visitors! Our dear Corgi companion, Sugarbear, passed in 2022, and as a way to honor her, we are committed to continue welcoming our new and returning doggie pals, as we have for so many years now. We simply cannot envision a life without dogs around! Take comfort in knowing your companion will be provided tailored care, per your requests, and will receive lots of attention, exercise and love during your time apart from them! They will instantly become part of the family and receive as much attention as desired. Our family is open to following any familiar routines to facilitate the best stay possible. We are especially experienced with and sensitive to the needs of senior dogs and the care they require. Our home offers the convenience of a LARGE, fully-fenced, green backyard for dogs who enjoy open space to run and play, a beautiful and scenic park right behind our backyard for exploration, plenty of indoor space for lounging, and a safe and family-oriented neighborhood to venture about for walks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It is a top priority for us to keep open communication with you during your pup's time with our family. You will frequently receive summary and photo updates of your sweet babies while you are away, keeping you connected with your loved one. Please note the following updates as of June 1st 2026: ☆ Effective June 1st, 2026, all drop-offs and pickups must occur within the following established operating hours: 7:00am to 8:00pm. Requests outside of designated time windows may not be accommodated or will result in added boarding fees. Thank you for your understanding. ☆ Our family requires an in-person meet-and-greet in our home for all new clients and their pups prior to the agreement of a booking. Please know there are no exceptions to this requirement in the event you have a last minute booking request (e.g. submitting a request the day prior to booking start date). ☆As always, we value and appreciate each of our clients! We look forward to meeting you! ♡ Kellie, Richard & Isabella

Kellie is an incredible sitter! She took great care of our dogs Ripley & Rocco once again. She addressed Ripley's acute needs as a senior gal during the stay with such care and attention. Her communication and daily updates provide us much peace of mind while we are away from our dogs. She is so considerate Ripley and Rocco's individual needs, and we could not ask for a better home-away-from-home for them!

Please note: We do not exclusively board one pet family at a time. While our family hosts multiple dog families visiting for the same boarding and daycare dates, we do value quality over quantity and keep our daily numbers at 5 max. All drop-offs and pickups must occur within the following established availability hours: 7:00am to 8:00pm. Requests outside of designated time windows may not be accommodated or will result in added boarding fees. NO aggressive or easily overstimulated dogs, please. Our family does not discriminate against specific dog breeds; however, please be transparent at meet-and-greet if your dog has tendencies to resource guard, show signs of toy and/or alpha aggression, or exhibits high anxiety. We strive to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all and our home environment is harmonious and low anxiety. You dog(s) should be friendly with other dogs and humans and preferably experienced with boarding or visiting homes outside of their own. —Does your pup have special medical or dietary needs? —Any favorite routines, preferences to help keep your pup most comfortable? —Does you pup suffer from separation anxiety, chewing or other destructive habits, or is a possible flight risk? —We also require that your dog be housebroken. This means that your dog shouldn't be prone to marking or having regular accidents in a different environment. Pee pads indoors are welcome if a medical necessity exists. —It is the responsibility of the pet owner to keep all dog guests up-to-date on their vaccinations and flea/tick meds, per Rover policy. Whether you have a list of meticulous requirements, or do not prefer a regimen for your dogs, we are here to adapt and aid in making your dog comfortable.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
