“Krystal has been taking our dog on walks twice weekly for a few weeks now. She’s always very punctual and communicative. Our dog loves her time with Krystal!”

“Natalia was an absolutely amazing person who was always willing to walk our dog and hang out with our cats. Our schedule constantly changed and Natalia was always willing to help out and adjust. Natalia moved recently and our location is now too far. A bummer because we lost such a valuable member to our pets lives!”

“Last week was the first time I used Edie for my new puppy Chester. He is quite the handful and she has done wonders with him. She’s been very flexible and genuinely enjoy to work with. Hopefully Chester will get used to her as I will be using her weekly for his walks.”
“Callaway was a great help while I was away on vacation by walking my boy, Keo. She was careful going in and out of our gate without letting Keo escape, which was what I was nervous about. I like how she provided me with some background information as well about herself over a FaceTime call and asked some questions about Keo before she took him out. She was respectful, kind, and efficient person. I could tell really cared about my boy, it was nice she sent picture updates while I was on my trip too!”

About: I’ve raised my own Golden Retriever since he was 8 weeks old, so I have real daily experience caring for a dog through every stage of growth and routine. Through caring for him, I’ve become very familiar with feeding schedules, walks, exercise, playtime, grooming, and making sure a dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly love dogs and understand how important it is to treat them with patience, attention, and affection. I know that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I am home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can provide dogs with plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to take them out every 2–4 hours for walks or potty breaks, depending on their usual routine and needs. My neighborhood also has a nearby trail, which is perfect for walks and extra exercise. Since I am home most of the day, I can give dogs a safe, comfortable, and well-supervised environment. I am also available on weekends and holidays, which makes it easier to accommodate different schedules and last-minute care needs. I offer a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home where dogs can feel safe and comfortable. My home is non-smoking, located in a quiet neighborhood, and everyone in my household is very friendly and welcoming to dogs. We do not currently have any other pets, which can be a great fit for dogs who do best in a peaceful environment. We also have a yard for outdoor time, and I always prioritize supervision, safety, and each dog’s comfort. My goal is to make every dog feel cared for, relaxed, and at home.
“Elora has been wonderful with our pup! He is nervous about having people come to the house and she has taken extra time to make him feel more comfortable. She is very responsive, timely and provides thorough notes and photos.”

About: I am patient and easily adaptable in unexpected situations. I have helped my friends take care and teach their dogs easy to follow commands. I can guarantee that the dog will have as much fun as me! As a student I know how to balance all aspects of my life from personal professional and school related activities. I can overcome obstacles. I just want to be around dogs on my free time. In my own home I’m fully responsible for taking care of both my cats including cleaning, feeding and playing with them. With my friends dogs that I’ve taken care of when they’re out of town I’ve fed, walked and cleaned after them.

“Amy has done a fantastic job walking our dog Parsley. She is communicative, show's up on time, and takes our pup on great walks. I would happily hire her again and recommend her to anyone else who is looking for a reliable dog walker.”

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets; my dad has two dogs, my brother’s family has three cats, and now my in-laws have two dogs. From ages 10 to 16, I had two Shih Tzus. For two years, I lived with my brother and helped care for his three cats. Since I was in my 20s they told me to cover my "rent" was to take care of the house, which included ma taking care of the cats. Since then, I’ve always been the person friends and family rely on when they need someone to watch their pets. Back when I lived in Korea, I volunteered at animal shelters, (which I heard run differently than here) helping care for dogs and supporting general shelter needs. In my spare time, I also visited dog cafés (very popular thing there) just to get my fix of "animal love". Sadly, my wife is allergic to animals, so we can’t have pets in our home. That’s one reason I value opportunities to care for others’ pets, it allows me to stay connected to something I’ve loved my entire life. Even with her allergies, she has a strong affinity for animals. Her mother was a veterinarian, and I’ve gained valuable knowledge about proper pet care through that family background as well. From the great knowledge she and her family has given me, I am glad I am able to take care of these pets all on my own. I live a very active lifestyle, I run every other day and go to the gym on alternating days, so I have the energy and stamina for long walks, play sessions, and high-energy dogs. As a stay-at-home husband, I have a very flexible and open schedule. I’m available throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and most weekends. I care for pets in their home by following the owner’s instructions carefully and keeping their routine consistent. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I respect your home, keep everything clean, and provide regular updates with photos for peace of mind.
“Cory was engaging and loving with our pup. He was punctual, shared great updates, and had great communication. We’ll be happy to work with him again next time we need help with care.”

“Pepper enjoyed her walk with Jean. When Pepper arrived home she was calm, usually she is jumping all over me. Jean was punctual. It’s a pleasure working with her. I’m planning on booking her again.”

About: I have always had dogs ever since I was a baby and I love spending time with them and giving them all the love and attention they need! I grew up with a bull mastiff named belle and took care of her even in her older age and I currently have 2 golden retrievers who are around 6 years old but I helped take care of them when they were puppies as well. I feel comfortable helping senior dogs with any medicine, help moving, or anything else they may need and I'm super comfortable and patient with puppies! I also have 2 cats and have also been around cats since I was a baby and love taking care of them as well! I love playing and being around big dogs but small is great too! :) I am currently a high school senior but I do online classes through running start so I am pretty much home all day and I go away for practice later in the day but I honestly have a pretty open and free schedule during the week! Since I have a flexible schedule with school I am able to stay for a while if your animal needs extra attention or company! I feel very comfortable and confident taking care of dogs since I have always been around them growing up. My mom and me also run a rover business boarding dogs at our house for the last few years as well so I have gotten to take care of lots of different kind of dogs! I really love dogs and cats and it would be a really amazing and fun opportunity for me to help take care of your cats and pups! :)
About: Hello! My name is Laurel. I am in my 30’s and my first cat adopted me when I was just a year old. The first time a stray dog followed me to his furever home, I was seven. I have extensive experience with cats, from fostering semi-feral felines to volunteering for years with the Seattle Animal Shelter. I am comfortable with sensitive cats, skilled at administering medications, and a majority of my regular clients have cats who tend to be aggressive with strangers. Your cat can’t scare me; scouts honor! I have mid-level experience with dogs. I have fostered reactive dogs in the past, utilizing distractions and redirection when on walks. I often become the pet sitter for those dogs when they’re either reunited with family or find their new home. I’m the type of person dogs make eye contact with from a distance, and I always request permission from dog parents before inviting the dog to be pet. My pet sitting includes overnight and attentive drop-ins. It’s important for me to ensure that a pet feels loved when their family is away, and I am often thanked for treating someone’s pet as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby(ies)! I am a full-time professional pet sitter. This means that I can give your pet customized care and can be with them for extended periods of time! Since pet sitting is my primary income, I usually have multiple pets scheduled throughout the week. I am also the primary caretaker for my mom, which translates into my being her chauffeur for doctor visits or trips to the grocery store. This means that I am unable to stay in someone’s home 24/7, but I am very rarely gone for longer than 4 hours at a time. Every pet is different, and my schedule is flexible — let’s compare your needs to my calendar and go from there! Trust is rarely immediate and must be built with time. I take a slow approach with pets when I enter your home, making sure to keep in mind that I am a guest in their space. I always remove my shoes when entering a home, and I like to place them in an area where your pet(s) can inspect them. This is an excellent way for them to get to know me. Shy cats often love to stick their faces in my boots! I do the same with any bag that I bring, and sometimes (for cats or critters) I will remove the objects from my bag so that they can inspect them individually. While an animal and I are getting to know each other, I always ask them for permission to pet them by providing my hand in an unthreatening manner. I like to use a low, calm voice. For shy pets, I limit direct engagement, so they can get adjust to my presence. If a pet is hiding, I’ll often read aloud to them during my visit. You know your pet best; if there is any specific approach that you’d prefer I take, I am happy to do so!
Upper West Ridge dog parents share their Rover experiences
We reached Robin only a couple of days before we needed to have some come to walk our boy, Bandit. She was able to do schedule a last minute meet and greet, which gave a lot of peace of mind. Her family did a great job with Bandit, they were very understanding of Bandit's excitement and were able to handle his over zealous attitude (pulling and jumping). Would definitely recommend using them to get some exercise for fur babies.

Vera was punctual, kind, meticulous and the new best friend for our dog Max! She met up prior to walks to understand instructions and get familiar with Max, a 30lb hot dog/lab mix. She sends updates and pictures for the walk and sends calendar schedule to make sure we are aligned on dates. Vera is a very reliable and kind dog walker!

Natalia began walking our dog, Obi, when he was 7 months old. She walked him for about 7 months almost every weekday. The love and joy she had working with our dog showed in the pictures she sent us as well as the comments from neighbors who periodically met her on walks. Natalia was communicative and responsive. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we would’ve continued with her forever if she hadn’t moved away from our neighborhood. She has a wonderful connection with animals, getting to know their personalities and deeply caring about their well-being. She even befriended our cats who came down to visit her as well. I highly recommend Natalia for any pet needs you might have. She is an absolute gem.

So glad to have found Kendal. She shows up everyday rain or shine as described. She's no no-sense. Comes in invariably at the scheduled time, walks my mouthy puppy around the neighborhood, often with extra time, and drops him back off. She's also very accommodating with scheduling. I cant recommend her enough for the services she offer. Thank you Kendal

Katie is amazing! It’s my first time using rover and getting someone to help with my dog. I work long shifts and having someone reliable to take my pet on a walk was reassuring and such a relief. He loves her so much. She was such a great dog walker. If my family goes on vacation or we need a dog walker again, she will be the one we choose.

Amy did fantastic with our dog that gets nervous meeting new people. She came prepared with treats and approached her in a calm way that built trust quickly. She handled Rivet great on a walk even though she has less than perfect leash manners. You can tell she’s experienced and has an energy that animals gravitate to.

Caroline walks my dog two to three times each week, and she’s so great! She takes him on different routes, is flexible when schedules change, and has even gone over the scheduled one-hour time on a few occasions! He always gets at least 2.7 miles in when she walks him. She also met up for a meet and greet before we started our sessions to see if it’d be the right fit. Love being able to trust that my dog is in good hands!

Jessica was very nice and communicated with me very well. My first time using Rover and she kindfully answered all my questions which made me feel a lot better. She updated me every step of the way and sent me pictures which was very appreciated. Definetly recommend.
