“Miranda is doing a wonderful job with Max! Her updates and pictures from each walk are a wonderful treat to receive while at work, and I am so appreciative that she does them. Since working with Miranda Max has also gotten a lot better walking on the leash. Thanks Miranda!”

“Gabby has been a huge help to me and my family. She's helped my senior dog have more experiences as he aged and she's given plenty of attention to my other, more active, dog. Such a help. Thank you!”

“Krystal has been taking our dog on walks twice weekly for a few weeks now. She’s always very punctual and communicative. Our dog loves her time with Krystal!”

“Elora has been wonderful with our pup! He is nervous about having people come to the house and she has taken extra time to make him feel more comfortable. She is very responsive, timely and provides thorough notes and photos.”

“Callaway was a great help while I was away on vacation by walking my boy, Keo. She was careful going in and out of our gate without letting Keo escape, which was what I was nervous about. I like how she provided me with some background information as well about herself over a FaceTime call and asked some questions about Keo before she took him out. She was respectful, kind, and efficient person. I could tell really cared about my boy, it was nice she sent picture updates while I was on my trip too!”

I’m comfortable with special routines, medication schedules, and dogs with unique needs. Every pet I care for gets my full attention, patience, and plenty of affection. I treat them like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I balance pet care easily with my weekly schedule. My flexible hours let me provide regular visits, feeding, and playtime throughout the day. I always plan ahead to make sure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve, no matter how busy the week gets. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment. I follow all care instructions exactly, from feeding times to litter box maintenance and playtime. I keep everything clean, calm, and comfortable so your pet feels secure and happy no matter where they are.I sometimes bring my 6-year-old with me. She is calm and experienced around dogs, but only if you’re completely comfortable and your dog is good with kids.

“Renee took my dog for a couple of walks recently and was a pleasure to work with! She was very friendly, accommodating and great with communication. Will definitely use her in the future as the need arises! Highly recommend!”

“Jean was very warm and friendly. She took time out of her day to meet us for a last minute meet and greet. I love the fact that she was on time and respectful of both our times. I got updates and pictures while she took my dog on the walk. She is part of our family now. Thank you Jean.”

About: I am patient and easily adaptable in unexpected situations. I have helped my friends take care and teach their dogs easy to follow commands. I can guarantee that the dog will have as much fun as me! As a student I know how to balance all aspects of my life from personal professional and school related activities. I can overcome obstacles. I just want to be around dogs on my free time. In my own home I’m fully responsible for taking care of both my cats including cleaning, feeding and playing with them. With my friends dogs that I’ve taken care of when they’re out of town I’ve fed, walked and cleaned after them.

About: Lifelong dog lover offering calm, attentive in-home pet care so pets can stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I provide walks, drop-ins, and house sitting with a focus on consistency, safety, and low-stress care. I’m also a dog mom to Ziggy, my small, well-trained mini poodle who often accompanies me for house sits. He is calm, non-shedding, very social, and used to being around other dogs daily. He works with me at a winery and is currently training for future therapy work. I always follow each home’s rules carefully (including furniture boundaries), and I bring all of Ziggy’s food, bed, and supplies. For homes that aren’t a fit for an additional dog, I can occasionally arrange care for him, just let me know in advance and we can discuss. I am home more during the week and work part-time shifts on weekends, typically short shifts (about 5–6 hours) Pets are always cared for before and after, and I prioritize keeping their routine consistent, comfortable, and stress-free. IN-HOME BOARDING (Limited Availability) I also offer limited boarding in my home for calm, well-behaved dogs who are comfortable around another small dog. Ziggy is very social and used to being around other dogs daily, and we have a relaxed home environment. This is a great fit for: • Low to moderate energy dogs • Dogs who enjoy companionship • Dogs who can relax for a few hours during short outings or may be able to come with me from time to time I am home more during the week and work part-time shifts on weekends, so weekday stays tend to be the best fit. I can only host one dog at a time and am selective to ensure the right match. Dogs are kept secure on leash during walks, and I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable and connected while you’re away.
“Natalia was an absolutely amazing person who was always willing to walk our dog and hang out with our cats. Our schedule constantly changed and Natalia was always willing to help out and adjust. Natalia moved recently and our location is now too far. A bummer because we lost such a valuable member to our pets lives!”

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets; my dad has two dogs, my brother’s family has three cats, and now my in-laws have two dogs. From ages 10 to 16, I had two Shih Tzus. For two years, I lived with my brother and helped care for his three cats. Since I was in my 20s they told me to cover my "rent" was to take care of the house, which included ma taking care of the cats. Since then, I’ve always been the person friends and family rely on when they need someone to watch their pets. Back when I lived in Korea, I volunteered at animal shelters, (which I heard run differently than here) helping care for dogs and supporting general shelter needs. In my spare time, I also visited dog cafés (very popular thing there) just to get my fix of "animal love". Sadly, my wife is allergic to animals, so we can’t have pets in our home. That’s one reason I value opportunities to care for others’ pets, it allows me to stay connected to something I’ve loved my entire life. Even with her allergies, she has a strong affinity for animals. Her mother was a veterinarian, and I’ve gained valuable knowledge about proper pet care through that family background as well. From the great knowledge she and her family has given me, I am glad I am able to take care of these pets all on my own. I live a very active lifestyle, I run every other day and go to the gym on alternating days, so I have the energy and stamina for long walks, play sessions, and high-energy dogs. As a stay-at-home husband, I have a very flexible and open schedule. I’m available throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and most weekends. I care for pets in their home by following the owner’s instructions carefully and keeping their routine consistent. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I respect your home, keep everything clean, and provide regular updates with photos for peace of mind.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a puppy myself. I currently have a 2-year-old active and playful blue heeler mix that I've raised from when she was 3 months old. I am very active (looooove walks), strong (able to handle strong pulling or heavy dogs), and playful. I have a special place in my heart for large dogs (both young and young-at-heart), but all dogs are welcome. I also love high energy pups! Our sweet family golden retriever/lab rescue doggie passed away in 2018 at age 10.5, so I also have experience with medical care for older dogs. I have two dog-loving young kids at home. We'd be honored to take care of your sweet doggie! I work from home, so I'm flexible to come play and walk your pups throughout the day. My preferred schedule is last mornings (between 9-12) and afternoons before 3:30 pm, but I'm willing to coordinate with you for what supports you and your pup best. For walks, I'm very active, strong, and calm under pressure. If you're booking a stay at my home, I have a large fenced yard with an energetic and sweet 2-year-old intermediately trained dog to keep them company. She is also crate trained! I work from home and will keep a good eye on your pup.
About: I grew up raising/with English Mastiffs and had my own Cat, that I alone took care of, from age 6-18 as a teenager. I volunteered/worked at my local shelter every Wednesday and Sunday for 8 years. I was trained to work with elderly dogs/cats, and special needs animals. I know how to give CPR to cats and dogs. I started to learn how to train animals and have just recently signed up to start taking courses through Rover to get certifications in training. I know how to administer medication, orally and by injection. I am a massive animal lover. I promise to take care of your animal and keep them safe as if it were my own children. I have 2 kids, ages 6 and 10. Both of whom are as much as an animal lover as I am. Your pet will be cuddled, played with, and taken on as many walks as you would like me to, or as much as they need, when they need too. I have a huge yard with a gated fence. I would love the opportunity to take care of them while you are unable to. I promise that your pet will be loved, and completely safe with me, for as long as you need. I promise your babies will have a loving home while they are with me. They will be taken care of with so much love and so much play. As long as your pet is in my home they will be in a loving, caring, secure home. My home is their home when you are away. ♡ I'm currently a stay at home mom. I'm at home all day. If I need to leave the house, you pet will not be alone longer then 30 minutes the most. My kids are in school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00am-4:30pm. On Wednesdays 9:00am-3:00pm. If your pet is not good with children, then I'm more then happy to have them at my house, or come to your home while my children are in school. If your pet is good around children, I have no issues having your pet stay with me at my home for as long as you need. They will be spoiled with so much love as my children adore animals as much as I do. I'm here 24.7 all days of the week to help take care of your needs. Most of the time I am good and able to take requests on very short notice. I'm very flexible and able to work on different times and needs. Just let me know what you need from me and when you need it and I'll do everything in my power to make it work! I have a fully fenced yard. A huge backyard and a big front yard. Fully fenced all around my house including my front yard. I have a gate that I can shut if your pet wants to explore my frontyard. If I have an errand to run and your animal has to be alone, I will never leave them alone longer then an hour at most. I will always be outside with them when they go out to play or go potty so I can always keep an eye on them and make sure they stay safe and secure. I have no pets of my own currently. I have 2 children, aged 6 and 10. My children are very gentle, kind and caring. They love animals of all kinds. They are both animal lovers. I am a stay at home mom. Rover is my only job and the job I love the most. I am looking forward to walking, playing, cuddling, and giving all the attention I possibly can to your pet. I have no problems with boarding or coming to your home and taking your dog outside to go potty or for a walk, while also giving lots of cuddles and play time. If your pet comes to my home, know that they will be safe. Your animals are free to lay on my furniture if you allow it. I will do my best to make sure your dog stays on the same schdeule that they would be having at home. I'm all for cuddles and love. Whatever your pet needs, I promise to give it my full attention. I can watch your pet while my kids are at school, if your pet is not good around children. If your pet loves children, then I can guarantee they will be unbelievably spoiled. I was being trained on how to take care of elderly animals and I hand raised puppies from the day they were born until they were able to eat on their own. I know dog/cat CPR and I am in the process of getting my certification for training through Rover courses. I look forward to this next step, and getting to love your pet just as much as you love them. I have had animals all my life. From age 6 to age 28. Im currently now 30. I have hardwood floors, so if they have an accident its not an issue. I live in a 2 story house with 5 stairs going downstairs and 5 stairs going upstairs from my front door. Your pet is free to roam the house. I can not wait to love your pet and give them all they need and more!
“Rachel has been wonderful with our dog, Hazel. She’s been taking Hazel on long weekday walks and has truly gone above and beyond. Hazel used to pull and get easily distracted on walks, which made them challenging, and Rachel immediately offered to work with her on loose-leash walking. In just a short time, Hazel has improved so much and is now walking calmly, paying attention, and doing great on leash. Rachel is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She sends thoughtful updates and the cutest photos, and Hazel absolutely loves her and gets so excited when she arrives. We’re so grateful to have found Rachel and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog walker.”

West Wellington dog parents share their Rover experiences
There were a few misunderstandings with timing and parking instructions during the first visits, but overall Jessica took good care of our dog. I’d recommend going over the visit/walk arrangements in detail and perhaps over-communicating about timing and parking to ensure the initial visits go smoothly.
