Former vet assistant. I love dogs!
I grew up training bird hunting Labradors with my father. From that experience I learned how to train dogs with verbal and also visible hand signals. I have years of animal shelter volunteering, and I also used to work in an animal hospital providing overnight care for the emergency patients that needed around the clock support. I have an amazing dog named Winter, that loves having company over and can't wait to meet new furry friends!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced back yard for play time and potty breaks, as well as a powerline trail for close by outdoor walks. I do not have a crate, so if your dogs prefer to spend time sleeping or napping in their crate I ask that you provide that.

My dog porter had a great time with Derek and his dog! Derek was extremely communicative about what they did and knew how to handle sometimes anxious dogs. I would feel safe and comfortable leaving porter under his care again!
Derek was great with our old man! He knew how to work with a GSD and made our beloved Fur Beasts stay more positive than we’ve had with professional dog care facilities.

Schedule
I am currently a stay at home father, and I can accept pets anytime from 7am-7pm. I have 1 friendly dogs that will keep your dogs company.
