“Lainie is a GEM!! I could not recommend her enough for drop by cat-sitting. She took EXCELLENT care of my cat Babs on short notice, and even helped clean up after Babs’ mischief (the cat loves to unspool ALL the toilet paper and Lainie rolled it back up so my house didn’t look like a pit of TP confetti when I got back). It is clear that Lainie not only loves animals but can take care of them exactly like you would were you home. I’m so happy that Lainie was able to watch Babs and I will go to her first for any trips I may take in the future— again, I cannot recommend that everyone else with a cat ALSO do this. Babs loved Lainie so much AND Babs can be a little queen sometimes! She’s choosy and sometimes sassy lol— if Lainie and Babs are besties after a weekend, your cat will love her too! CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!”

Her first pet, at the age of 5, was a very sickly but incredibly sweet little beagle, Nellie, who she loved undeniably and helped to care for until Nellie's passing 9 years later. Haley then began fostering dogs, 17 in one year alone, and house/pet sitting for the cats and dogs of dozens of people over the course of several years in Maryland and Montana. Haley even adopted a fish when she was in college since she couldn't have a dog or cat. Her love of and respect for animals led her 5 years ago to adhere to a plant-based diet. I can't think of anyone more responsible or hard working to whom I would entrust the care of my dog-- and the keys to my apartment. You will find that not only is she experienced with many breeds, but they seem to love Haley and her gentle sweet demeanor.”

“Faye was amazing. She watched my German Shepherd, Beretta, in her own home, over the holidays and on fairly short notice. She had me bring Beretta over to her home so we could meet her, and so we could see how Beretta did with the other dogs she was watching. Beretta can be shy, but Faye made her feel right at home. Faye also watched my three cats for me, and made daily visits to my house to check their food and clean the litter. She sent me daily updates on my four-legged friends while I was away, and even watered the Christmas tree for me. When I got back, everyone was healthy and so much happier than they ever are when they get boarded at a kennel. I will DEFINITELY use Faye again next time I leave town, and would highly recommend her to anyone. ”
