About: I have taken care of neighbors and friends pets throughout my early teens up to the present. I have taken care of mostly dogs and cats but have cared for lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs and fish. I have trained my two dogs commands like sit, down, shake and wait. As a sitter/walker I will love spending time with your pets, as I miss my family‘s pets that are in my home town! I am a full time pharmacy student at the University of Montana so my falls and springs are pretty busy with class. However I will always make time to spend time with the pet(s) when I can. I will always try and make time for a daily walk if taking care of dogs and spend time playing with cats. Back at home I have two dogs and a cat. So I know that trash should be securely placed and poop should be picked up regularly in the yard and in public areas. I love my pets at home and show them lots of affection and love and I hope the people watching would do this too.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. From taking care of cattle on our ranch, to our first family dog when I was 7 years old. More than 30 years later, loving and caring for animals has been a consistent my entire life. I trained my own rescue pup and we shared 9 incredible years together. She went everywhere with me including the gym. I know what it’s like to have a four legged friend be the love of your life. I also volunteered with a local animal rescue and have done some unusual and complex care for unique animals (everything from treating fungus on a Harris’s hawk’s talons to bottle-feeding orphaned porcupines), and most recently helped my own dog through her senior years, including multiple daily medications and giving her a rich full life despite complex needs. I’m available weekdays for drop-in visits and walks, and I build my work hours around your pet’s routine rather than the other way around. I’m a lifelong Missoulian with the kind of reputation where my neighbors have me hold on to their extra house keys. Trust and communication are incredibly important to me. For drop-in visits and walks, I follow your instructions exactly, feeding times, medication schedules, leash routines, and anything specific to your furry companion. I’m experienced administering medication that doesn’t require needles and comfortable with pets who need extra care or a calmer pace. I always double-check doors and gates are secure before leaving, and I send updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and cared for.

About: I grew up in a family who loved all animals. I knew from a young age I wanted to work with animals. My resume includes work at animal shelters, wildlife rehabs, horse training facilities, doggy day care and veterinary clinics. I am well versed in administering medication and care for special needs animals. I have one dog, four cats, and one horse. Currently I am a stay at home mom to a 18 month old. Being a stay at home mom, I am very flexible. I am available Mondays through Saturday 9-12 and 3:30-7pm. I am not available on holidays. I own a two story, three bedroom house with large fenced in yard. My animals have everything they need including toys, cat trees, and lots of love. I take my dog on a walk everyday.

“We had Ken for a 2 day house sit for our dog, Flash. In all of our years using Rover, we’ve rarely had a sitter who loves Flash as much (maybe more!) than we do. Ken even made a special late evening visit outside of those that were scheduled just to make sure Flash had a little extra love before bed. We came back to a tidy home and happy pooch. Will definitely have Ken back again!”
