I approach animals with the understanding that they have their own autonomy, personality, and boundaries and I respect animals by giving them the space they need to explore or get to know me. I'm gentle, patient, calm, and responsive to needs. My kitty is fed twice a day (wet food mixed with lots of water because she doesn't have teeth) and I scoop her litter boxes regularly and deep clean them weekly. She loves to be high up or look out the window so I set up things she can climb on and a comfy cat bed with a view of the birds.
