About: I work part‑time and have a very flexible weekly routine, which means I’m able to spend extended, consistent time with pets throughout the day. I’m usually home for large stretches of the morning and early afternoon, and I keep my schedule intentionally open so I can prioritize walks, playtime, and companionship. Pet care is part of my daily routine; I schedule structured walks, maintain consistent feeding and play times, and provide attentive house‑sitting throughout the week. I’m an extremely outdoors‑focused person; long walks with any animal are my daily reset. Most recently I've been the go-to sitter for my neighbor's cat during her extended trips away — sometimes up to a month at a time. Kept us updated with notes that really communicated how our pets were behaving. Since we know our pets, we really knew he was spending time with them. And the animals were all happy and not stressed when we came home. The house was clean, he kept up with our litter boxes and also brought in mail or deliveries. About: Growing up I had three different large family dogs as well as an outdoor cat. I currently have my own indoor cat who is very happy and healthy, his name is Beans. I’ve grown up around itty bitty 5lb lap dogs all the way up to large 70lbs+ dogs. I’ve had experience with dogs that are wayy too social and the exact opposite, not able to be around strangers at all. I’ve done extensive personal research into cat and kitten care and have spent lengthy time with dozens of cats in my lifetime. I have a very personal soft spot for all animals big and small. They are such pure, innocent beings that deserve all of our love and protection. But they are also incredibly diverse in behaviors and emotional experience so it critical to be mindful and patient with them always. I am available for all pet care services Monday-Sunday, 12pm-10pm. Overnight stay will be planned out on a case by case basis due to fluctuating personal demands. What happens when I meet/care for your pet? Well the specifics vary depending on the service being provided but a general summary would be: Off the bat have a clear and thorough understanding of the boundaries and expectations the client has for their animal. Listen to any warnings, concerns, or tips the client may have about their pet. Meeting the animal under client supervision and listen to any preferences they may have when it comes to meeting their pet (assuming this is the first time I’m meeting your pet). As well as understanding the Clients expectations of me and the care I will be providing for them, ensuring that their own and their pets needs are fully met.
