“Jimena stayed and took care of my senior dog while I was away at a conference. She did an amazing job, senior dogs are not easy to take care of, plus I live in a condo so he has to be walked several times a day. I cannot recommend her enough.”

“Joseph did a great job with taking care of Bosco and the house. He was very responsive when I reached out to see how things were going; and he notified me when he thought I might have a concern about Bosco. He took great care of the condo and left it very neat. Great job!”

“Alexis was amazing and the best pet sitter I’ve ever had! She went above and beyond to make sure my kitties were well taken care of, and they loved her! Can’t recommend Alexis enough!”
“Glenn took care of our pups while we were away on our honeymoon and we are so thankful to him for keeping us updated with pics and taking such good care of them so we could relax knowing they were being loved like we love them! Thank you Glenn!”

“I felt at ease having Cece taking care of my dog for a few days while we were away. I got daily photos and updates and I could tell my dog was happy and comfortable with her. It was a wonderful, worry-free experience and I would love to have Cece back in the future.”

“Mont’e was absolutely amazing! He provided excellent care for my cat and dog while house sitting. I was pretty nervous to leave town and Mont’e was super kind and professional. He updated me regularly, took my dog on walks, and even took her to his family’s Christmas Eve celebration (after asking of course) because I was worried about her having separation anxiety! Mont’e treated my pets as if they were his own and when I came back they were both super calm and relaxed because of the great care provided. Mont’e was also super respectful of my home and left it very neat and tidy! Highly recommend Mont’e for all pet sitting needs, I’ll definitely be asking him to come back!”

“Devaney is wonderful! She stayed with our 17 year old Havanese for 10 days. He is very skittish and doesn't like anyone but us. She worked with him and got him to relate to her. He has accidents in the house and she cleaned up. When we returned the house was in wonderful shape. She sent pictures and updates every day. I highly recommend her! And she has a great personality and sense of humor!”

“Christina was so thorough when meeting my dogs and really took the time to understand their needs. She took great care of them and sent lots of detailed updates, which I really appreciated!”

“Chris is great, very communicative and caring for our dogs. Sent many pictures over a 1 week house sitting and kept me updated on how the dogs were doing. When meeting Chris before the house sitting, I could tell he’s a dog lover and genuinely cares for pets. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with Chris.”

“Ella was so sweet and did such an amazing job with our Rocky boy!! She sent us lots of pictures and videos, and kept us in the loop the entire time. We will definitely be rebooking her!💗 Thank you so much Ella🫶😊”

“Angela was great! She was very patient & gentle with my anxious dog during the meet & greet, so I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her! They seemed to get along great during the stay. Angela was good about sending pics & communicating. Would hire again!!”

About: I’m a social worker, a mom to 2 pit bulls, 1 senior cat, and 1 human toddler. I grew up on a farm and I am a lifelong animal lover. Between the various needs of my creatures at home, and my experience over the last 20 years, I’m well equipped to take care of your babies. I have somewhat flexible availability during the week, and even more so on the weekends. I work from home some days of the week and can pop out as needed. I am attentive to your instructions for care and walk in with eyes wide open. If something seems off, I’ll let you know right away. I’m also happy to send cute pics to reassure you that your babies are doing great :)
“Octavia was very patient, observant, and a good problem solver with our socially resistant dog who can nip at people he doesn’t know. She has her own dog so is not doing this to get her dog needs met, but to make a living. She was a reliable communicator.”

“Ebony was so kind and helpful throughout my dog baby's visit. She sent me tons of photos and updates while she had my baby. Baby(my dog) was well taken care of threwout her stay with Ebony. I'm so grateful for her, as she took my booking last minute since I had an unexpected family emergency come up. I will definitely use Ebony again in the future seeing as how amazingly she took care of what I consider a family member to me.”

“Christine is very communicative and consistently updated me on my 3 cats! She sent me pictures every time she came over to care for them. She also left my apartment clean which I'm very grateful for. It's nice to come home to a clean place after a long and grueling flight. Definitely would book her again!”

“Michael is instinctively in tune with our senior dog’s needs and is always gentle and compassionate with her. Our home always looks perfect after he comes. Thank you.”
University District pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had Alexis watch our pup Bean over an extended weekend and she was absolutely amazing! Bean is super shy and has some medical needs, and Alexis was able to provide competent, solid care for her! We came home to a super happy, well cared for dog. She did a great job providing updates and asked great questions. We would absolutely have her back!

Esther took wonderful care of both my cat Oliver and my home while I was away on vacation. I came home to a happy cat and Esther kept me updated on him while I was away. I highly recommend her as a cat-house sitter and will definitely seek her out again when I travel.

Avery is great! They were very responsive before our trip, during our trip and when it looked like we might not make it home in time. We got tons of photos of Nashville and Avery kept us up-to-date throughout our travels. Best of all and always a good sign, when we got home, the dog looked up and said, “oh you’re home.“
Alia was amazing, she made sure to give me daily updates and pictures. She was even willing to add an additional drop by visit when our return time changed to make sure our dogs and cats were properly cared for while my husband and I were away for a week. The house was all cleaned up and she even went beyond what we asked of her!

Jenna did an absolutely great job petsitting our dog and four cats for two weeks. All the pets were happy and healthy upon our return and the house was well taken care of - even the plants and the birdfeeder in the backyard. She sent us daily reports with photos, which was very reassuring, being far away from home.

Tea is a frequent house sitter for our highly anxious dog. Tea provides outstanding care and maintains consistent communication while we are out of town (and provides pics of our dog). Most importantly, our dog loves and trusts Tea, which is all any pet parent can ask for.
