This stay was unique in that I had to contact Kathy and request to extend Tommy's stay because of a family member's health. Nova, a snowshoe cat, is unlike any cat I've ever encountered, and I have had many, many, many cats. You always hear how cats are independent and will take care of themselves for the most part. Nova is the exception and I swear he is more like a dog. He has intense separation anxiety and sits by the door waiting on us to come home (we watch him through a cam). It's heartbreaking as sometimes we are gone for up to 10 days. He is very affectionate and loving and stays in my lap all day. So he needs a lot of attention. And Lindsay gives it to him! It's what I look for most when selecting someone to watch him. Someone who understands he's not like a normal cat and needs your voice, physical touch, play, and just overall some company. About: I’ve taken care of cats for decades. Before I got my own cat, I took in stray cats and got them adopted. The longest I would need to leave a dog alone would be 5-6 at most, but that would be rare. I am careful to keep dangerous or toxic things off floors and out of reach, I ensure that small dogs have easy access to higher couches or beds (as long as pet parents allow this), I clean and refill their water bowl every morning and wash their food bowls. About: I don’t think I’ve had a time of my life that I didn’t have any dog around my house. Ever since I was a child, I was crazy about them and take care of them. Giving medications, feeding, brushing teeth and the fur, everything was on me. That was the least since they give so much love and helped me so much during my teenage years and adulthood. I have 3 dogs of my own, but recently moved to another country and now I miss them every single day. About: Dogs have always been part of my life and my family. I am retired now, so my schedule is very flexible. My husband and I lead an active lifestyle and will make sure your dog is taken care of like family. We have a large backyard with access from a doggy door. We will keep you posted with photos and feedback on a daily basis. We have raised all breeds over our years as dog owners and have been blessed with wonderful senior rescues. Since my husband and I are both retired we are very flexible in our schedules and should be able to accommodate any timeframe that is needed. Our backyard is spacious and fenced in. There is access through a doggy door if that is negotiable for your dog. It can also be blocked if if required. We are very close to a beautiful park, which is wonderful for some nice long walks. My favorite was probably the Springer, as she loved to play fetch for hours. About: Hi, My most recent experience has been long term care for friends and families dogs. I offer to walk dogs multiple times a day, as well as check in multiple times a day. I also offer personalized behavioral training a recommendations. I have particular experience with behavioral issues like separation anxiety and difficulties walking on a leash and getting overwhelmed with various stimuli. About: I've been around animals my entire life! My family has had pets for as long as I can remember—from senior golden retrievers to brand new kittens—and I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was back in high school. I even now have two kitties of my own! When I take care of your pets, I'll treat them with the same care and affection I do my own. I've taken care of animals with behavioral struggles and physical health troubles within my own family and it has given me important experience to be able to take the best care of your pets, no matter what their unique circumstances. I am available weekends and throughout most work weeks and my university schedule allows for the flexibility I need to meet your pets needs whenever works best for them! I am Red Cross Certified in Cat and Dog First Aid. I also have experience caring for both senior dogs and puppies/kittens that are under a year old, as well as experience administering various oral medications and inhalers to dogs and cats. I also have experience with dogs that require a muzzle, for any reason.
About: I currently have two cats who are well taken care of and who I have administered medications to and cleaned up after. I also grew up around dogs and am well versed with handling dogs of different temperaments. I work full time but I am very free on the weekends and after work to care for pets. I am also free around lunch times on Monday and Friday. I am adept at handling cats and dogs in difficult situations. For dogs, I would put them in their crate for a cool down time. For cats, I usually prefer to put them in time out in a room or disengage ntil they are able to not be as overstimulated. I also like to re-direct energy using play so pets do not feel punished for their energy.

About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking since before I can remember. My family members were all allergic to animals so I was never able to have my own to love and care for. Pet sitting and dog walking was a way to get my animal “fix” without causing any allergic reactions in our household! I also ride horses and have owned and cared for many horses over the past ten years. Currently, I am taking a break from owning a horse but still get to ride occasionally! I do have references available if need be and would be happy to share to whomever is interested. I now have my own dog, Zuri, I rescued her in October 2020! She is the best girl ever and loves her life! I also have fostered for a few different organizations so am well versed in how each dog is different. I love all animals and would love any opportunity to give yours love when you aren’t available to do so! I work from home 4 days a week! So I am able to snuggle and play with the dogs all day! We do several walks a day & utilize enrichment toys. I live in an apartment, it’s big enough to host Zuri and one other dog comfortably. There are a few flights of stairs so would want to make sure your dog is comfortable with that.
About: I have dogs my entire life. I have a dog of my own who is very well trained. I am very active so I enjoy playing and walking with animals. I am an ICU nurse going back to grad school at Case Western. So I will be a full time student with a flexible schedule! I have experience with all different aged animals. I have volunteered at pounds and walked very strong dogs. I can assure your dog will get the right amount of love and care. Full time student so I have a flexible schedule. I will be able to do take your dog for long walks or play. Whatever is needed. Monday and Wednesday are my long days in class. I am a very trustworthy person, as an icu nurse I have had to carry a lot of responsibility at once. I can send updates and can assure your pet will get the best care. Having a dog myself I know they are part of the family.

About: I have a variety of pet experience. Most notably with dogs, I have fostered over 13 dogs in the last several years through Kane's Mission. I am sure to give your dog personalized attention and love and care they deserve! We live in a great walkable community in Shaker Heights. We are happy to take your dog on walks and visits to the park, so they can have a nice vacation too! I can currently adapt to most pet care schedules. I have a flexible schedule from home, and I am here to offer a seamless transition. I have fenced in yard with room to romp around, and I am located in a great walking community with a park nearby. About: I’ve worked with many breeds and temperaments of dogs over the years and now nothing surprises me. Where you need drop-ins, overnight stays, extended boarding, or a brief walk, I’m always available. Proceed with caution, belly rubbing conditions apply. I currently work part-time during the day and have usually free evenings. I go on early walks/runs and having a sidekick would improve my community experience. My schedule also allows sufficient breaks to attend to your fur babies’ needs. I have a very secure apartment with multiple key-required entrances and locked apartments. It’s a full house of pet love with my room mates also available to play. There is enough play pen space for running around or just lounging strictly within the apartment, with controlled outdoor activities.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i was a little girl, they’re an important part of my life. Every dog that visits will receive a bath if requested! Very good with senior pups! I have a very flexible work, as well as my husbands schedule so always there to do potty breaks and just give some love and attention! I have one dog right now, he’s a 6 year old lab.
