I have firsthand experience with the daily care, attention and patience that pets need to thrive. My genuine passion for animals and my lifelong dream about having my own dogs finally came true when I welcomed my own pups into my family. Beyond caring for my own dogs, I volunteer with a local animal shelter for a “Dogs Day Out” program where I take shelter dogs on outside to provide socialization, exercise and enrichment. These experiences alone have strengthened my understanding of dogs with many personalities and needs, allowing me to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care for every pet I get to meet. :) I work in the emergency department, so my schedule varies, but my partner and I live together so generally when I am not home he is there, and vice versa. When I’m not at work, I will spend all my time with your pet, taking them on walks, to dog parks, to get pup cups, etc, whatever you as the owner allow or prefer! I have a fenced in yard at my home, so dogs can be off leash to exercise, use the potty, and play time. During their stay in my home, they are welcome to be free roaming, not in crates, unless owners would prefer crates.

“Jaina was very responsive and communicative during our trip. This was my first time hiring a petsitter so I was already nervous, but my sheltie Piper does NOT like strangers so that added more stress. Jaina worked with us to have a few (loud) meet and greets with Piper to familiarize herself with her. It took a day but Piper soon warmed up to her and settled which allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip. I'm very grateful to Jaina for handling our anxious dog and reassuring us with her daily and sometimes twice a day updates.”
