About: I’ve taken care of cats for decades. Before I got my own cat, I took in stray cats and got them adopted. About: Dogs have always been part of my life and my family. I am retired now, so my schedule is very flexible. My husband and I lead an active lifestyle and will make sure your dog is taken care of like family. We have a large backyard with access from a doggy door. We will keep you posted with photos and feedback on a daily basis. We have raised all breeds over our years as dog owners and have been blessed with wonderful senior rescues. Since my husband and I are both retired we are very flexible in our schedules and should be able to accommodate any timeframe that is needed. Our backyard is spacious and fenced in. There is access through a doggy door if that is negotiable for your dog. It can also be blocked if if required. We are very close to a beautiful park, which is wonderful for some nice long walks. We recently lost our 10 year old bull terrier to cancer and so our house feels empty without our beloved Walter. We will make sure your furry friend feels like family.

About: Growing up we always had a family dog. We had Schnauzers (twice), a Cocker Spanial, a Wire Fox Terrier and a Springer Spaniel. My favorite was probably the Springer, as she loved to play fetch for hours. While I don't have professional (getting paid) experience, I do occasionally dog sit for a neighbor, in fact doing so for a week this coming March (2020). “First time utilizing Kyle’s services for my 2 miniature shitzhus and it was absolutely amazing. It’s the first time I had to use this kind of service and honestly, it’s been nothing short of exceptional. Kyle provided videos throughout the evening so I could feel comfortable with the whole process - it was nice to notice my dogs having fun with another dog Kyle was doggy sitting. Communication was very smooth. I highly recommend and will definitely be utilizing his services again.”
“We’re really happy with Debra and how she handled everything for our dog while we were out of town. We arranged for a meetup before the stay to ensure this would be a good match. When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. “Aspen was so great. I was nervous about using rover and leaving my dog with a stranger, but Aspen was amazing. She was very friendly and welcoming when I dropped my dog off; she told me that she would be to take Effie on a few walks throughout the day and that she might even take her up to the lake. She sent me daily pictures and updates about the walks she would take with my dog and just overall how my dog was doing. It was nice to get the updates/pictures while I was gone for the week and put me more at ease with leaving her. There was a portion of Effie’s stay that another dog was going to be there and Aspen was very accommodating and wanted to make sure it was ok with me that there was another dog there (it was), but she even offered to go to my home on those days to let Effie out if it was not. I would definitely recommend Aspen and would use her again in the future :)”
