“Wish I could give more than 5 stars! AMAZING, CARING, LOVING, ATTENTIVE, PROFESSIONAL, The whole family are all these and so much more. Talk about loving your fur babies, they love my babies as much as I do and they feel it.”

“Lily spent a week with Leslie and her family. She ran and played in the big backyard. She loves being around people, so she was a happy dog all week. Leslie did a great job making sure she got her medicine each day. Drop-off went smoothly, and we were given an opportunity to watch her get acclimated to the backyard before we said goodbye. We have used Rover in all the cities where we have lived. I know my dog will get the attention and care from the families in the same manner as home. It's like her own vacation! Thanks again for taking care of our girl.”
“Alyssa and her husband did an awesome job with Marlowe! They truly listened to my instructions and made Marlowe feel comfortable! They took photos and kept me updated and showed just how my pup son was a happy camper!”

About: I’ve been working with dogs for 6 years, but they’ve been my biggest passion since I was little. I have a certification in dog training, have taken a first aid class, and have experience with all kinds of pups! Dogs are my full-time job, which means your pup gets all of my time and attention! My day revolves around the care of my furr-ends! I have a fenced in yard and have a room in my home dedicated to the care of my clients! I have large comfy kennel spaces for each of my guests but if your pup happens to be social and non-destructive I would allow them to free-roam!
“We used Amy & Ross for a trial night, but this time we came back for a stay for a little longer than a week. We are very grateful we were able to take a trip and not stress about Rocky being well cared for. We appreciated the photo updates and responses to any messages. Highly recommend Amy as a sitter and will be using for future needs as long as they will take Rocky! Thanks again! :)”

“Kris was wonderful with watching our dog while on vacation. Seems like our girl was right at home with Kris and she had a great time. She has a great property with ample room for them to run around and play. Highly recommend Kris for anyone looking for a comfortable place for their furry friend while away. Thank you, Kris!”

“We can tell when we pick up our dog if he enjoyed his time away or was mistreated. Other than one other business, Anna is the ONLY person our dog has enjoyed staying with. I will absolutely be using Anna in the future!”

“Kayla, her husband Michael (and their kids) made my boys (Bonanza and Jackson) feel so incredibly loved! Jackson is a senior dog with mobility issues, but he still was part of the action. Bonanza loved playing with the kids and other pups and running around the back yard. The kindness, care and compassion of Kayla and her family was just so special. I felt good knowing the pups were in such amazing hands and loved the photo updates. I look forward to boarding with Kayla again…and the boys do too!”

“Carolina and her family took wonderful care of our pup while we were away. She has an amazing set up and yard for the dogs to play. She sent daily updates with pictures and video. Our pup was very happy during his stay.”

“My boy had the best time at Janell’s house. She was very attentive and made sure Jack was comfortable prior to me leaving. I will 100% come back for future trips!”

“This was my first time using Rover for an extended boarding stay, and Taffy's first time staying with someone who wasn't a friend or family member, so I was a little nervous at first. But Bo took such great care of Taffy and made the whole experience stress-free. She sent daily photos, and I could tell Taffy was having a wonderful time and felt comfortable in her care. Bo is also organized and communicative, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. Would definitely book with her again.”

“Cheryl took such amazing care of our boys! They are old dogs who don’t do well in a boarding environment, so we were thrilled to find Cheryl and feel like they were really comfortable and got lots of personal love and attention while we were away. They also had lots of toys, comfy beds, carpeted floors, and a fenced yard at Cheryl’s house. Will definitely book with Cheryl again!!”

“Norman had an amazing time here and was treating great. I don’t think he was even sad I was gone! Would recommend, very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and Norman had a blast.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
