She even took photos for each visit. Socks seemed to be very comfortable around her. Kitt is still shy, but that is how she has always been around other people. I would be happy to have her take care of them while I am out of town again.”

About: Raised on a cattle ranch, I have had experience with animals large and small my whole life. I joined Rover about a few years ago, shortly after my 120 pound lab of 9 years passed away, I wanted to be able to be around dogs and be able to be active by going on hikes and out to dog beach, but wasn't quite ready to bring to a new puppy into my life. I have house sat for many clients over the years: friends, co-workers & students families. I love to go on long walks, am comfortable administering medication if needed & providing lots of love for your dear furry friend(s). It’s been 7 years since I brought my lab puppy Pilot home & he absolutely loves having other dogs come to stay and/or join in on our daily adventures. Since covid hit he especially loves that I am a work from home dog mom now and we take a considerable amount of additional walks/hikes/bike rides each day. I would welcome anyone who is looking for Daily walks/adventures as well as longer term pet sitting to reach out as I would love to watch your furry friends. My dog Pilot would love to meet more friends to play with. Please note: I am unable to accommodate pets with any type of aggressive tendencies. I work full time from home, so your pet will be cared for and with the company of myself and my lab for their entire stay. I have a huge property with a doggie door and live near a variety of trails and lakes that can be accessed right out our door for our exercising adventures

About: Everything will be done to keep your dog safe, healthy, calm, and happy while they are in my care. All visits include the following: lots of walks tracked with strava, photo updates, and extra love. Your best friend will get filtered water from fresh bowls each day, and only give your dog food and treats that you provide. You deserve what you want during your dogs stay. Consider this a vacation for your dog, and that all their needs will be taken care of so you can enjoy your time on your vacation, staycation, or day trip. Skiers and Snowboarders, drop them for the day with confidence in my expertise. Your dog is the foundation of my routine. I love to work, and cherish the opportunity to provide my high level services for your dog so that you can enjoy your time without them. All dogs get extra love in the mornings, and structure during walks. Assuming our dogs get along I’ll let them play. If needed, I’ll keep my guy from being too friendly, and I am prepared to keep dogs separated if they aren’t the best fit to be together. But I also limit how many dogs I take at once, to keep things easy on me.

About: I grew up with 2-3 100+ pound dogs in my home at a time growing up. I'm used to loving and respecting animals the way they are meant to be treated. Also I'm willing to DISCOUNT SERVICE if you pay cash! I currently have a job that makes my travel but when I'm at home I have a lot of time to take pups on their much needed walks. I try to give all animals the same respect I would give to humans. I'm used to dealing with dogs that can get a little overwhelmed in public, so I feel like I'm well versed in ways to help comfort your pup while get their daily exercise!

About: Hi there, I’m Olivia and can’t wait to meet your fur family! My parents had a sweet spot for rescues and adopted dogs from shelters throughout my childhood. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds/sizes, ages, personalities, and levels of health. Over the past 15 years I have also sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I work remotely for a local company so my availability is pretty flexible and will allow me to be with your pup(s) as often as needed. Safety is my top priority. They will be leashed for potty breaks if there isn’t a fenced yard at home and on walks, especially while exploring busy trails and beaches.

About: Not only have I had pets my whole life, I have cared for other peoples pets as well. I pride myself as being reliable. I consider our pets as family. Each have personalities, emotions, and specifics needs like every member of our family do. This is how I approach caring for pets. I am an active person so would love to take your pet on adventures. I am a full time engineer student at University of Nevada, Reno. I have classes I have to attend Monday - Thursday for approximate 4-6hrs. When I am not on campus I would love having a furry study buddy to hang out with or stretch my legs with on an adventure. At the moment I can not accept caring for pets at my home, although I more than happy to take your pet on a hike, walk or care for them in your home.

About: Having had two dogs, I love being active with them and making them feel loved. Because that’s what they do for us too, am I right?! I have some experience in basic training, house sitting/dog sitting for short and long periods of time. I have been pet sitting for over ten years for all types of dogs, big and small, fluffy and smooth, young and old. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your dog(s) to keep them and me active, happy, and healthy! I can help with feeding, walking, of course, administering meds, cuddling, and basic training reinforcement. I value dogs as if they are people and acknowledge the amount of care they need. About: I grew up with a household of pets. After leaving my childhood home I moved to the Tahoe Truckee area and began working for a veterinarian. I studied animal behavior in college and I continued to work in the veterinary profession until my retirement in 2022, for 40 plus years! I have always devoted myself to the best of care for all of my own pets, including hamsters, parakeets, cats, dogs, rats, and chickens, and to the pets of friends and family including horses. I am very tuned into their health and medical needs as well as their everyday fun and attention needs. I love to walk and am very safety conscious. I am free to offer services many days. Now that I am newly retired I do spend some time traveling away from home or with other part time activities but, in general, my schedule is very flexible. As I currently have a senior cat who is afraid of dogs, I prefer most of my services be in your home or walking your dogs. However, some cat loving, mellow dogs might be possible for short periods in my home as needed. I do not have a fenced yard so outside time in my home would be leash walking time, dependent on the needs of your dog, for safety.
