About: I had a dog when I was a kid, and I honestly miss the joy that he brought me! I've always loved dogs simply for the warmth that they bring, but getting to care for them, play with them, and take them on beautiful walks would be the cherry on top. I'm committed to making sure all furry friends in my care are happy, safe, and well taken care of as if they were my own. I hope to be considered as the pawfect choice! I’m currently working as a part-time freelancer in my industry, so I am able to make pet care a big part of my daily and weekly routines. I am available Sunday through Saturday at whatever times work best for you since I have a flexible schedule! When I have the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet, I am very attentive and careful. I prioritize safety, comfort, and making sure every Furry Friend gets suited to their personality and energy level. I will follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated to make sure I am creating a positive experience.

About: I have doggy sense: I know how to give space when needed and dogs warm up quick! Doggos are like babies, love em so much I have my own fur baby (7 year old bully), I'm used to giving doggos lots of care. I make sure he potties and eats when needed! Treats included! I spoil the fur babies, if allowed. I am very very careful to make sure they never escape. I am very empathetic. I care for others' dogs the way I love mine
About: Hi, I’m Bee, and I’ve helped take care of dogs and cats for around 6 years. I don’t have any pets of my own (yet!), but I have assisted friends with dogsitting and also Rover-ing! I’ve also fostered cats, and that has given me an edge in knowing how to make an animal comfortable quickly, especially in a new environment. I also have experience in giving powder, pill, and eyedrop medication. I believe that in order to give your pet the best care, we should work together and be on the same page about your pet’s needs, habits, and anything else you’d like to share! I also love taking photos of them and sending them to update you on how they’re doing. If this all sounds great, send me a message! I work fully remote, so I have time to take your dog(s) on walks generally before 8:30 AM, sometime in the afternoon, and after work at 6 PM. We can work out an appropriate schedule that most closely mimics their usual routine! Within my community, we have a dog park, so depending on how comfortable you are with allowing your dog(s) to socialize with others while you are away, I can take them there or map a new route to avoid the dog park if needed. Around the community we have some good routes for walking as well as a pond in case your pup wants to explore and smell! In my home, we avoid any strong scents, plants, chemicals and cleaning products that could pose harm to animals. Trash is secured in a cabinet.
“Kennedy did great! She came over a few days earlier to meet Tofi. On the day of the walk she did all we asked her to do, even with Tofi being reluctant to take a long walk, she hanged out with her and made sure she had water and treats.”

About: I’ve had two dogs! My first dog was a Maltese named Rocky. He passed away in 2017 from lymphoma. 💔 Right now, I have a 9-year-old terrier mix named Lila! She’s full of energy and loves running around the yard, going for walks, and playing fetch with her toys. I’ve been helping take care of my family’s & friends dogs since I was a little girl, and I’ve always loved dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. 🥰 I’m currently in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at FDU. I started in May, and the program is 15 months long, so I’ll be graduating in September 2027. My classes are a mix of online and in-person, but I’m generally available all day on Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to house sit and available Tuesdays and Thursdays for drop-ins and walks! Whether your dog needs a walk, a trip to the park, someone to play with, or just a buddy to relax with on the couch, I’m happy to help! I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away. Just let me know what you need, and I’d be happy to make it happen. 😊

About: My willingness to care for your pet as if they were my own sets me apart from most walkers , not to mention walking dogs is a form of therapy for me . Im the owner and operator of my business and can adjust my hours to ensure all pets on my schedule will have the time and care they need . I honestly view pets as children and treat them as such in order to keep them safe and minimize if any mess they may or may not produce

“We had a wonderful experience! She came to our home to walk and feed our dogs, and she was always on time and incredibly reliable. She spent quality time playing with them, making sure they got plenty of attention and exercise, not just a quick walk. We also loved receiving regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing our dogs were happy and well cared for while we were away. It’s obvious she truly loves animals, and our dogs absolutely adored her. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional dog walker!”

“Veronica is extremely communicative and always loves my Sadie. You can tell she really cares for these pets. My Sadie is still working through some separation anxiety and Veronica always is very gentle and kind with her.”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and understanding I bring to every pet. As a psychology student, I’ve developed strong skills in observing behavior, recognizing body language, and responding with patience and empathy. While animal behavior and human psychology aren’t the same, those skills help me better understand each pet’s unique personality and comfort level. I’ve also grown up surrounded by animals and have always helped care for my family’s pets. I’m a proud dog and cat owner myself. I’ve raised my dog since she was a puppy, so I understand the time, consistency, and love that goes into helping a pet feel safe and happy. I also care for my cat, which has taught me to appreciate different personalities and care needs. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and my goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I am currently working a part-time job and I’m looking for an another job on my days off doing something that I love. Sticking to their exact routine such as feeding schedules and bathroom habits exercise and medications to minimize stress and always communicating regularly with the owners.
“The best dog walker I’ve had yet! My pup can be leash reactive and high energy on walks, and Akshay has handled her wonderfully and cares about her unique personality. Always gives great updates during the day so I know she’s being cared for!”

About: I have 8 years of professional animal care experience ranging from rabbits, reptiles, bugs, and birds. I’ve also taken care of friends cats, dogs and other pets. I am currently in graduate school and work part-time during the week. My work schedule is typically Monday, 12pm/2pm - 6pm/8pm and Tuesday, 9am/11am - 3pm/5pm. From Wednesdays - Fridays, I’m typically free before 11am and after 5pm. My schedule does not conflict with House sitting opportunities as long as distance from my job isn’t an issue. Hazel was an exceptional dog walker, and I highly recommend her. She was consistently reliable, punctual, and dependable, giving me complete peace of mind. Most importantly, she handled my very difficult dog with remarkable patience and compassion. She took the time to understand my dog's personality and built trust through consistency and care, even when walks were challenging. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog Flash's well-being and always went above and beyond to ensure they were safe, exercised, and comfortable. If you're looking for someone trustworthy who can confidently handle even the most challenging dogs, Hazel is an excellent choice.

Madeline was awesome. It was a last minute request and I was very nervous. This was my first time using Rover. All I can say Madeline was on time, took great pictures of my baby (Jerzee) and gave me feedback on their interactions. I definitely recommend Madeline and I plan on booking her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
