“This was my 1st time of using the rover app but it was so handy and convenient . Ed came round to meet Arlo the week before the booking and we could meet him .on the 1st visit Ed took his time to get to know Arlo ( as a drop in to feed him and a walk) . It gave me piece of mind to know that Arlo was not alone all day and would have his lunch and although I work mainly from home when I do go out I am reassured Arlo will be looked after . About: I’ve had a deep love for animals my whole life, growing up with rescue dogs and learning from an early age how special and important they are. My parents eventually had to put a limit on my rescues when we reached seven cats, but my passion for caring for them has never wavered. Over the years, I’ve had six dogs in my family homes, and each one has been an incredible companion. Moving from Cape Town has made me miss caring for dogs, and I’m looking forward to filling that void by looking after yours. From 2020 to 2023, I was actively fostering dogs and training puppies (basic), and I’ve had the privilege of walking and hiking with them on countless adventures. I’m known among friends and family as the go-to person to care for their fur babies when they go on vacation, and it’s because of my natural connection with dogs—they seem to gravitate toward me. Even the most hesitant and shy dogs have surprised their owners by cuddling up to me. I’ve had the joy of dog sitting through word of mouth, and I’ve also cared for cats over the years. Volunteering at dog rescue shelters and zoos has given me valuable experience in animal care, and I’ve always been driven by a genuine love for animals. While I’d love to have a pet of my own here in London, I want to wait until I’m settled, so in the meantime, I’d be honored to care for yours. I understand how difficult it can be to entrust your dog to someone else, and I promise to provide a loving, safe, and welcoming environment for your pet. I’ll offer them plenty of exercise, cuddles, and regular updates with photos and videos, so you can feel at ease while you’re away. It’s my priority to earn your trust and ensure your dog feels right at home. I’m a Paediatric Dietitian with the NHS, I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays (great for long weekend stays!) and then free weekends. I live in a one bedroom flat with a lovely area downstairs, I have a massive park 5 minutes down the road that lots of dogs use. I do not have any dogs currently. I live on the 2 new floor (no balcony) so very safe. My apartment is spacious and comfortable. I have a fantastic dog park at the end of my road. I can accommodate dogs from the same household no problem. I have a garden area on ground floor for regular breaks.

About: 10 years experience of take care of a dog when I was a kid, and 2 years experience take care of a cat since 2022. I’m currently a postgraduate student, and have no class on summer days so have time to take care and play with your dogs and cats! I currently don’t have any pet in London, I allowed pets walk around in any area in my flat even on sofa. Will keep my easy-broken stuff safe before ur pets visit!

“I was so lucky to find Leo! They were so great about sending updates and photos that I didn't worry at all. My cat was really happy and well-cared for when I got back. I'd absolutely recommend!”

I’m currently not working until I start university in October so I have lots of availability for dog walks and sitting 7 days a week. I have raised a puppy so am well equip it for all dog ages. I’m free this summer! Currently on break from university studies. My availability is pretty open so pop me a message to check for availability so I can suite your needs. About: Hi, I’m Shing. I’ve had over 15 years of experience raising a Pomeranian, so I’m very familiar with the needs, personalities, and routines of dogs — from playful puppy stages to senior care. Through the years, I’ve handled everything from feeding, walking, grooming, to giving emotional support when my dog was feeling anxious or unwell. I understand how sensitive some dogs can be, and I always take time to earn their trust and make them feel safe and comfortable. I truly love dogs and care for them with patience and attention. To me, being a dog sitter isn’t just a job — it’s about giving your dog the care and companionship they deserve while you’re away. If you’re looking for someone who’s reliable, kind, and genuinely experienced with dogs, I’d love to meet you and get to know your furry friend better. I’m very flexible, so I can easily fit pet care into my day. Whether your dog needs company, playtime, walks, or simply a calm and reassuring presence, I’m available to give them my full attention whenever they need it. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in the owner’s home, I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs — whether that means sticking to their feeding schedule, going for familiar walks, or just being there for cuddles and reassurance. I keep things clean, follow any instructions closely, and make sure your dog feels secure and loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve shared my life with dogs since I was 16—starting with a clever Risen Schnauzer, then a sweet Golden Retriever, and now my playful Border Collie, Stanley. Previously, I took care of two Dalmatians hosting them and providing home visits. This lifelong experience taught me how to care for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I’m passionate about understanding each dog’s personality, creating a fun and safe environment, and giving them the same love and attention I give my own. As an artist, I work from home with a flexible schedule that naturally fits around caring for pets. My days are already shaped by calm routines, creativity, and time outdoors with my Border Collie Stanley. I’ve built a lifestyle that allows for slow mornings, long walks, play breaks, and peaceful rest—perfect for dogs who need both stimulation and comfort. Pet care isn’t something I add on—it’s part of the rhythm of my life. I love welcoming new furry companions into that flow and giving them the same loving attention I give to my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment that respects each dog’s unique needs and habits. In my home, pets have access to a peaceful indoor space, regular outdoor breaks, and plenty of playtime with my friendly Border Collie, Stanley. I maintain a consistent routine—feeding, walks, rest, and enrichment activities—so they feel secure and cared for. When I care for pets in their own home, I follow your instructions closely to keep things familiar and stress-free. I make sure they get the attention, exercise, and affection they need, always staying attuned to their mood and comfort. I bring a gentle presence and a sense of stability, whether it’s for a playful pup or a more sensitive senior.

About: Hi, I’m Fiona and I recently moved from Vancouver, Canada! My home has been filled with pets for as long as I can remember, but specifically for 21 of the 27 years of my life. I had a childhood spent loving (and spoiling) my two dogs, a Poodle and a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix. In 2022, we rescued two dogs, a fearless Chihuahua/Pug mix and an affectionate terrier mix. I also owned an adorable and surprisingly cuddly hamster. With the unpredictability that comes with rescues, I have spent tons of time researching how to effectively train and care for them, including leash and basic obedience training, and gradually working towards overcoming separation anxiety and shyness. With all that I learned during the adoption application process, I gained a passion for rescuing dogs and later volunteered with the rescue society (Just Four Paws) managing reference checks for their applications. Having officially settled into my new life here and working remote part-time, I truly miss my dogs back home and long for the opportunity to meet and care for dogs of all ages, specializing in small and medium dogs. I am fully committed to following any specific requests you may have and will provide you with tons of updates as I would expect if I were to leave my own dogs in someone else’s care. I hope to get the chance to care for your furry friends as if they were my own! I’m currently working remote part-time, so I have tons of flexibility in my schedule to meet yours and your dog’s/dogs’ needs! Generally, I can make myself available anytime from Monday to Friday, but will consider weekends as well! I value your space and will ensure I treat your home, and of course your dog(s), with respect and the utmost care. As a dog owner myself, I know the importance of communication and will keep you updated throughout my care, plus I will take photo updates of your dog(s)!

About: I’ve grown up with pets and have over 25 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds. I’ve fostered both dogs and cats, and I currently share my home with a very pampered (and proud!) Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is calm, friendly, and in the process of becoming a certified therapy dog. This lifelong experience has taught me to read animal body language, manage different temperaments, and provide the kind of consistent, loving care that pets thrive on. I also regularly watch expert-led training videos online to better understand behaviour and reinforce positive habits. I’m confident with seniors, puppies, shy rescues, and everything in between - and I tailor my approach to meet each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, medication, or just quiet companionship, your pet will feel safe, seen, and truly cared for in my hands. I work from home Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm, which gives me lots of flexibility for pet care during the day. I usually head out to exercise between 4–6pm, leaving my calm 3-year-old dog at home - she’s very comfortable with that routine. That said, I’m happy to stay home with more anxious pups if needed (as long as they don’t mind a bit of yoga!). I’m usually free on weekends and love taking my dog to explore London’s parks - we’d be more than happy to welcome a plus-one canine friend to join the adventure. Safety and trust are at the heart of my care. I live in a secure high-rise apartment that’s set up for calm, pet-friendly living - and we’re surrounded by several fenced dog runs just a short walk away. If your pup loves to socialise, I’m happy to take them to romp and make new friends there. Prefer a quieter stroll? I’ll keep them on-lead and explore the city’s streets and green pockets instead. Inside, pets enjoy a relaxed environment with comfy lounging spots, enrichment toys, and my gentle, well-socialised Cavalier King Charles (who’s always happy to share her space or give it). I follow your feeding, walking, and medication instructions to the letter and stick to familiar routines so every pet feels safe and at home - whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in your space. Expect regular photo and message updates for total peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I absolutely love spending time with dogs and cats — they’ve always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs at home, and for the past 3 years I’ve been walking and sitting dogs here in London. So far, I’ve cared for 15 lovely dogs and cats, and I’m proud to say we’ve always had a great time together! I’m experienced with all kinds of personalities — from bouncy and playful to reactive or anxious. I know that looking after pets isn’t just about loving them (though I do that a lot!) — it also takes patience, understanding, and the right approach. I work from home Monday to Friday, which means I have a flexible schedule for walks, pee breaks, or just spending quality time with your pet. I love going for long walks and hikes, so I usually walk for 1–2 hours depending on the weather and what your dog enjoys. When I look after pets, I always send daily updates with pictures and videos — so you can relax and enjoy your time away, knowing they’re happy and well cared for. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry companion! I work from home from Monday-Friday. My work schedule is 9AM-5PM with 1 hour lunch break at 12:00. I’m happy to do dog-walks 2-3 times a day. Annabel M.Star Sitter
“Annabel took care of my Cocker Spaniel (Kiera) for 2 weeks when I went on holiday. I don’t think Kiera was that bothered when we got back because she wanted to stay with Annabel! She sent me pictures everyday doing fun activities with Kiera. I was happy to see she took her out for a proper walk everyday. Kiera usually sleeps in my bed so it was sweet Annabel let her cuddle up in hers too! Annabel will always be my first choice. Thanks Annabel!”

Tsai Ying S.
“She is a responsible person and loves dogs very much. I believe she can take good care of pets and be a really good caregiver.”

“Matilnta K. is a genuinely compassionate and reliable individual who brings warmth and attentiveness to everything she does. Her natural empathy and calm demeanor make her an ideal caregiver—especially for pets, who instantly feel at ease around her. Matilnta has cared for my pets before, and her gentle, responsible approach gave me complete peace of mind. She’s not only loving and trustworthy but also highly professional, which makes her customer service outstanding. Anyone would be lucky to have her support.”

Jai-Sai M.
“I’m delighted to recommend my younger cousin Jai-Sai as a trusted and caring pet caregiver on Rover. For the past five years, he has repeatedly proven himself with our own dogs, and I would leave any pet in his care without hesitation. These days, he is the first person we call to look after Kanga — our spirited three-quarters Alaskan Malamute, one-quarter Siberian Husky mix—and our newest additions, Louie and Luna, two energetic black Border Collie × Labrador crosses. Anyone who’s lived with these breeds knows they need more than a quick walk and a food bowl: they thrive on consistent routines, vigorous exercise, mental stimulation, and patient affection. Jai-Sai handles it all—early-morning runs with Kanga, structured play sessions that tire out Louie and Luna’s collie brains, and mealtimes that keep everyone calm and happy. Beyond his obvious love for dogs, he is remarkably reliable. He never misses a feeding, medication, or walk window, and he keeps detailed notes so each dog’s quirks—Kanga’s need for a long cool-down after exercise or Louie’s preference for puzzle toys—are fully met. Balancing a demanding second-year university schedule with these responsibilities has only highlighted his maturity and time-management skills. If you’re searching for someone who will treat your dog like their own—providing safety, structure, and genuine joy—look no further than Jai-Sai. Kanga, Louie, and Luna adore him, and I know your pets will too.”

Yuanyi F.
“Yuanyi is a caring, responsible, and patient pet caregiver with years of experience. She treats every pet like her own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy. Highly recommended!”

“Fiona is the most caring pet owner I have ever met. She is always extremely attentive to her three current dogs and has always been a caring pet owner with all the dogs, cats and fish that have been in her life. She is always making sure they are being well fed, cared for and played with. She is extremely gentle with her pets and is patient when they are misbehaving. “Wonderful service! Thank you ever so much. On time and very professional ❤️”

Xue L.
“I had a really great experience with Xue. She took care of my cat, Kelzy, when I was on vacation for two weeks. She did everything I asked, like sending me pictures and messages about how Kelzy was doing. We even talked on video three times so I could see Kelzy! What made me happiest was that Kelzy made friends with Xue, Shiro. It was nice to know Kelzy had a friend while I was away. Xue is very professional, and she really loves animals. I highly recommend her if you need someone to take care of your cat. Both Kelzy and I can't wait to have her look after Kelzy again. Thank you so much for your wonderful help!”
