About: Hi I’m Ashley 😊 I have had experience owning dogs for 16 years with all types of breeds from German shepherds to terriers. My first little one reached 15 years old and was the best companion. Recently Bertie has joined our family, a very laid back miniature dachshund. He is very friendly and playful, and loves the company of other dogs. I understand how nerve wracking it can be leaving your doggy with someone else and I would be exactly the same! But please be assured I would treat them like my own with lots of love and kindness. If you have any questions please send me a message 😊 I am a cancer survivor, and since my life has changed I have left the corporate world of work and enjoy a slower pace. I am at home looking after my family and have plenty of spare time and energy for other dogs. I have a medium sized tidy garden which is fenced. Located directly behind our back garden is blissful country walks. We are very routined in our house, with daily walks, long evening walks and set meal times. Dogs are allowed on furniture and depending on the dog and the sleeping habits I do allow in my bedroom. I have a 6 year old daughter who is very confident with dogs so it is essential that any dogs staying with us must be used to children.

About: My entire life I have been surrounded by dogs and cats (and other small animals!), both young and old, who belong to my family and my friends. I have taken it upon myself many times through my life to care for the cats and dogs belonging to them. When we had enough room, my family adopted a rescue greyhound! He is a big boy, so I am used to caring for dogs up to 39kg. I am hoping to make some new furry friends! I am a new graduate that is currently professionally working in pet sitting and walking. I often fit care easily around my schedule and am known for being very flexible among my clients. At home I am used to studying and working alongside hanging out with my dog and take him for walks three times a day. *From September 2025, I am now likely to be working out of the house during term-time from approximately 8am to 4pm. Exact timings may vary based on your location and are based on driving to and from Bourne. I will otherwise remain at home with your pup* My experience has led me to professionally pet sit in a variety of houses and flats with furry friends in Scotland and the Midlands, so I am well accustomed for caring for both your pets and your home! I strive to ensure the highest level of security for both pets and residences and am happy to chat about any concerns. I am trained in pet first aid and CPR, and also have been DBS checked regularly for the last 6 years through my experience working with young children. I am additionally privately insured for pet sitting and walking. Please ask if you would like to see the details of any of the above! I have access to a car so I am easily able to travel to anywhere, whether in a city or in rural areas. I also have a great love for walking and hiking, so I am well versed on finding a great trail to walk with a furry friend! As I have a greyhound who loves to chase a squirrel, I am accustomed to ensuring that he is safe and will remain by my side. I have also cared for pups with varied recall abilities and am happy to adapt to the walking needs and styles of your pup. Additionally, when it comes to nervous pets, I am happy to adapt to them and find ways to make them comfortable. My greyhound is very nervous and can get quite jumpy, so I have plenty of practice with going all the way to make a first friend happy and comfy. I also have plenty of experience with caring for other nervous dogs and love going the extra mile to keep them feeling safe and comfortable. My goal at the end of the day is to become the best of friends with your pet!

That love for animals has continued as I have had dogs, cats, horses, chickens and sheep all at home. I have been working as a pet sitter for about 18 months now, visiting all different homes to walk, exercise, look after & keep their pets company while their owners are away for the day or overnight. My other role as a P/T PA also means I am used to different client requests and I am happy to water plants, collect parcels etc when you are out so just ask! I am highly organised, friendly, helpful and reliable. DBS, insurance and references available. I currently work p/t, so I am available for pet visits, sitting and stays throughout the week and weekend. For regular clients I am also happy to offer last min or emergency visits/stays, as I know what life can throw at us all! I always treat everyones home and pets with love, care and respect - Nothing less will do and nothing is too much trouble. I am an organised perfectionist and always want my clients to know they can count on me while they are away. I also will always plan an initial meet/greet, so we can discuss requirements and I can meet you and your pets. I will go through everything in detail so I am completely clear on what you would like me to do, and I will have a form so I know all medical history, vet details, emergency contacts, feeding schedule, likes/dislikes, do curtains need to be closed/opened etc. I always get told when i leave my meet and greets 'Oh I am so relieved, I can go away knowing they are safe and are going to be looked after' Which is what I want my client to feel as that is my job :) I know personally as I have my own animals too and know how i like them and my home to be treated while I am away.

About: *WE ARE INCREDIBLY BUSY WITH BOOKINGS ON & OFF ROVER, IF OUR DIARY IS BLOCKED FOR THE DATES YOU NEED PLEASE POP US A MESSAGE* Myself & my partner Woody are both experienced pet owners. I am a nurse& Woody is a dog handler with experience training dogs, handling difficult dogs and providing all of their husbandry needs. Also experienced with veterinary care, from spotting signs of ill health to providing emergency care. Due to the nature of his work he is required to know and be proficient in dealing with any emergencies that may arise. We both have over 10 years experience looking after our families dogs & pets. Woody has a 5 year old daughter who we have every other weekend so obviously the dog/dogs would need to be okay with children if the days over lap & we have her. We’re a super chilled loving family who adore animals! I am currently in the process of leaving ward work and applying for jobs that are mostly work from home. We live 2 minutes away from Woodys work, he comes home for lunch and throughout the day so the dogs will rarely be left alone, if ever. We live in a 2 bed house with a completely fenced off medium sized garden with access to large fields to free run that are very close by. We both enjoy long walks & spending time outside so the dogs will fit into our lives easily. We live a 2 minute walk from Rutland Water which we enjoy taking the dogs round as it’s peaceful& provides long beautiful walks.

About: I have been around pets as long as I can remember. I have had the blissful experience of taking care of about 3 dogs and 3 cats since they were young. Feeding, cleaning and playing with them are what I am used to for 20 years of my life I work full time from home so I am available anytime during the weekdays and most weekends. I occasionally travel to the office only twice a month I work from home and so can easily take care of pets at home and spend time with them. I also have a lovely fenced garden

About: I've had dogs all my life. Our family first had a black lab a lovely dog, she was gentle. As I mainly wanted the dog it was up to me to feed her and walk her which I did everyday. Sadly she passed away in August 2 years ago. When I moved at my parents place,I adopted a 10 year old cocker spaniel, Reason for my gaining her was because my client had passed away leaving the dog, and her 2 daughters weren't able to take the dog at the time. So I adopted little Willow. Willow was about 10 years old when I got her, severly overweight, had heart palpitations, sever dry eyes and infected eyes with gum rot. Alot of people around me thought I'd be taking on Willow just for palliative care, they all thought she would pass away in a few days due to mourning and her conditions. Willow weighted 23kg when I got her, after lots and lots of hard work she now weights 13kgs which for a small dog of her age is brilliant weight. Her gum rot had stopped progressing as she was eating the right food ( please stop feeding you dogs supermarket own brands pet food !) Willow had loads of fatty lumps under her skins due to the food and her age. I got rid of the infection in her eyes, to find out she was going blind in one eye. Now this is where her reactive behaviour began properly, she was barking, lunging, snapping at anyone and any dog. She would try and get people from the other side of the road. Now this one was very hard for me to train out of her, I spent months and months, only got so far but eventually she calmed down alot and stopped trying to get across the road. Willow now lives back with her old family, one of the daughters was able to take her back in. She lives happily now and her improvement was amazing 👏 I now own a Bulgaria street dog, she's a mixed of 23 breeds and is the most sweetest girl you'll ever meet. I've had to teach her basic things, like going to the toilet outside, walking on lead and harness. But no where as completed as Willow case. Perla is so gentle and loving. She's mute and isn't really able to bark but can make slight wining noises. Perla had sever separation anxiety to the point she would destroy property. Perla has chewed her way thought our fences and ripped up carpet. After a lot and I mean a lot of training she is finally settled and can be left alone for long periods of time. Perla is officially toilet trained and is really a cough potatoe dog, she still follows me where ever I go but her behaviour when I leave home for work is perfect. Perla is no longer anxious about meeting new people, or fire workers. Perla is picky with what dogs she likes to be friends with but is never nasty towards other dogs, it more correction behaviour when a very energetic dog is trying to play with her when she doesn't want too. I work full-time at a local care home, but have a 3 days on 3 days off rota. I work 12 hour shifts so the days I am working I don't have time to dog sit or walking. I'm lucky to to say my current dog is perfect for my life style and doesn't mind being left alone for long periods of time. I understand not everyone dog is like this and I hope to look after you're dogs for you! I have a 6 ft fence covered Garden as my Bulgaria street dog is a bit of jumper and got over my 5ft. Pets are always welcome inside and outside my house don't mind, I'd take them for walks, feed them whatever the owner would like from me whilst there in my care or in there own home.

About: I'm a big believer in the saying 'home is where the dog is'. Having grown up surrounded by dogs (always had at least one in the home!), I have extensive experience of looking after dogs with all temperaments and personalities - particularly terriers! My mum has looked after dogs for as long as I can remember so I am also very understanding of everything that is needed to look after you furry friend. I treat every dog that I look after as if it were my own and love to build relationships with each of them that I look after. I love being outdoors and taking the dogs I look after out on our walking adventures. Working in a hybrid role, I can be really flexible about your needs if I know in advance. If boarding your dog in our home, it is highly unlikely that we will leave them alone for more than an hour. I work from the office 1-2 days per week, but if I am not at home then my partner will work from home instead. We can be flexible in our routines around the needs of your pet (and you!). For other pet care services, I can flex my week around what is needed. I am available to walk dogs in the mornings, lunchtimes, and evenings, depending on your preferences, and, if caring for the pet in their own home, I can pop around during the day to give them company and let them out for a wee. When caring for your dog, I will always take your lead on how best to do this; whether this is in your own home or my own. Before looking after your dog, I will ask you to let us know anything and everything you think might be helpful in looking after them i.e., their walk routine, when and what they eat, and all the other weird and wonderful quirks of your pet! It is unlikely that I will let your dog walk off the lead for the first few times that I care for them (even if you are confident they walk well off the lead), as I like to make sure we are both confident and trust one another before doing this! We live right by a large common and depending on the needs of the dog are happy to walk them up to three times a day, and love exploring further at the weekend! We do live in a flat with only a small outdoor space so please do be confident that you're dog will be happy in this environment. I am happy to accommodate for anything that helps to make your pet feel comfortable and happy. I would request that the pet brings their own bed and toys (perhaps even something that smells like home) to help them feel at home and comfortable while staying with me. If the pet is staying for an extended period of time, I would aim to meet them ahead of time and have them for a day to ensure they feel settled and comfortable in our home. I do also ask that your dog is registered to a vets who we can contact in case of any issues.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was around 13. I started off looking after neighbours and family’s dogs but then progressed further. I have also had my own dogs of different sizes ranging from cockerpoo to cane corso. I also have two of my own pet cats and some fish so am happy to look after other animals too! I work at a childcare agency so am able to be flexible with my working hours I also only work there part time do have a fair few hours available to spend with your lovely pets. I do have two cats of my own but they mainly live outside and when inside they are kept to only two rooms of the house so if your pet does not like cats it should be no problem. We also have a large electric gate with restricted access to the property.

About: I have one dog aged just over 1 years old that I absolutely adore! I love dogs so am happy to constantly give your dog lots of love and attention as well as plenty of walks and play time! I have always had a dog from different sizes and ages so am confident I can take care of any dog that I am blessed to look after! When looking after your dog after a fun day of playing I love sitting down in front of the fire and snuggling up with them! I am a keen runner so if your dog needs loads of walks and needs to keep active I am happy to take them on a jog or a very long hike to keep them engaged!

Roger H.
“Testimonial for Roger, Dog Sitter Extraordinaire Roger has been looking after our Labrador, Milo, for the past six months, and in that time he’s proven to be unfailingly reliable. He always arrives on time, communicates clearly about walk schedules, and sends daily photo updates so we can see Milo’s adventures. From the very first meeting, Roger’s caring nature was obvious. He takes the time to learn each dog’s quirks—Milo’s tendency to chase squirrels, his favorite tug toy, even the exact spot he prefers to be scratched—and adapts each play session accordingly. His attention to detail extends to our home too: he notices when food levels are low, spots a loose fence board, and follows our medication routine without fail. What truly sets Roger apart is the genuine bond he forms with the animals in his care. He plays enthusiastically, supports them through any anxieties, and always leaves them calm and content. Knowing Milo is in Roger’s hands gives us complete peace of mind—he treats our dog like family. — Aija Grabuste”
