“Georgie was absolutely amazing with Beauden. Her communication was great the whole time — lots of updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Beauden clearly had the best time with her and came back super happy (No kidding, he even cried in the car when we were driving off, making us think he’s found his new home!) We’ll definitely be using Georgie again and can’t recommend her enough! ☺️”

We have a secure garden in a rural location off a country lane close to wooded area, we would walk your dog twice daily (age dependant) or it can a have a run around in our secure garden/meadow.
“Veronika and her family were lovely and made Teddy feel very welcome. We were updated daily with lots of photos while we were away. I dont think Teddy wanted to come home.”

About: I am a Dog Trainer, with a Level 4 certification. I started my career with dogs volunteering in a Grey Hound Rehome Kennel and then became a Dog Handler in 2020, since then I have completed my Dog Trainer qualification and have trained numerous working dogs in different specialised roles, from Search to Police. I currently own a retired working dog, called Rocco, a 6 year old LabX and a Belgian Malinois, Arya, who is a year old. My dogs are very well behaved and tolerant of all temperaments. They are a playful, high-energy bunch however will respect a dogs space if they are more timid. My daily work as a Dog Trainer includes addressing behavioural cases, from reactivity to human aggression cases and troubleshooting handler issues. I have aided with pet and sport dog owners providing guidance on obedience, tracking and scent-work training. Experienced with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment so can give my full attention to the dogs in my care. I am available weekends and most days with prior confirmation. I have a two bedroom house with an enclosed garden, all fences are 6 ft high other than one side, which is slightly over 3ft and both neighbours either side have dogs. They are friendly, often playing and interacting with my two dogs through the fence. I have space for my dogs to be crated separately from any visiting.
“Alice was great with Wilf. We had a meet and greet first, then Wilf stayed for an overnight. There's plenty of room, a very large garden and lots of land. Wilf had walks and played with Alice's dog. He came back very tired! We'll certainly be using Alice again.”

“Sophie was amazing at looking after our cats for a week. They were obviously well cared for and had a great time themselves whilst we were away! It was lovely to get the photos and we will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“As our cats can be very timid around people they don’t know, we were worried about how they would cope when we went away for a short break. Magdalena was great with our cats, she took time to make sure they were all okay and kept us informed throughout each visit, she also made sure that we had photos as well. Would definitely book Magdalena again.”

“First time we have used the Rover app for looking after our two cats and couldn’t recommend Oscar enough. Loved getting photos while we were away. I think Theo was gutted when we got home!”

About: I have been raised with dogs since a child, I currently have a 2 year old Labrador myself. I love being in the company of dogs and enjoy teaching dogs new tricks, walks or just cuddling up on the sofa. I currently work from home between school hours, I walk my dog in the mornings to school and back, then he has his breakfast. During my working hours they will have access to the garden at all times for toilet breaks, or can be with me resting, where ever they feel comfortable. After work I walk to collect my son from school, on the way home they are able to have a longer walk. School run walks take 40 minutes in the morning, enough time to stretch their legs in the morning. I have a fenced garden and have a 2 year old male Labrador and two cats. We have two children aged 10 and 13 who love animals, there will be plenty of love, fusses and playtime for all. As our Labrador is entire, we are unable to accept unspayed female, as we do not think it is fair for either dog. We are able to accept entire males, subject to a meet and greet with both dogs. My main focus is making sure both dogs are happy to be around each other. If your beloved dog has any special requirements please let me know, I am happy to discuss these.
“Pitch has a fantastic day with Cordelia he absolutely loved his walk and we loved receiving the photos of him having the time of his life. We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much!”

“Angie is EXCELLENT! From initial contact communication was great, we needed someone to walk our dog for initially 4 days then extended it 8 which she accommodated for us. The initial meet & greet went brilliant, our dog Iggi can be reticent with people she doesn’t know but immediately warmed to Angie. She excitedly greeted her when going on a walk and Angie always sent a little report with each walk and a couple of photos. Iggi came back from each walk sated and happy. We cannot praise Angie highly enough and will use her in future when we are in the area visiting family & friends”

About: Growing up I've always had animals, including dogs, cats. I used to spend a few weeks a year with my family on my uncles farm helping out. I had a black lab cross, but lost him 2 years ago, he was beautiful although a little crazy, but loved long country walks and plenty of cuddles. I regularly look after my mums spaniel, hes very active although has alot of medication. I love having him because it means we can enjoy spending time together with an animal. I worked in a veterinary practise for two years before getting pregnant because animals is a big passion. I was training to be a vet nurse before having my son, Joey. The opportunity to house sit and spend time with your pets means we can enjoy our travel lifestyle whilst pursuing our passion with animals. In the last 10 years we've been all over the world and enjoyed time together with a variety of animals including dogs, cats. I love the fact that we can actually relax in a home environment with your furry family members. Last year we lived in Brazil and rescued a sick dog and 5 abandoned kittens from the streets, we nursed them to health and they became part of the family, which is why it was tough letting them go, but our goal was to find loving new homes for them which we managed to do. I host Air Bnb and stay in mainly Airbnbs at the moment when away, therefore know the responsibility of looking after someone else home, I have also made some great friends through this site. Hello there! My name is Cara. I currently work remotely as an online tutor, but I love languages and art and nature. Working from home, means lots of flexibility and time with your furry family members! I am a big animal lover and have always had them in my life. Although exploring new places means we can't have a furry family member full time, we have looked after dogs, cats. I rescued a dog and 5 kittens from the streets of Brazil when living there last year and successfully re-homed them. We will be sure to update you with lots of pictures. Being outdoors is my favourite hobby and sharing that experience together with an animal is something we thrive on. Looking forward to meeting you and you furry/ or not animal family members soon! Cara and Joey You pets will be welcomed into my home and will enjoy every minute here. Lots of country side in our quiet village and as I work from home, they will have plenty of time with me.

Over the years, I have learnt dog training skills such as how to remedy a dog who pulls on the lead or jumps up. I am experienced in administering medication for both dogs and cats and can even bathe them for you if needed! I am more than happy to do drop-ins for cats to feed and top up their water when needed if you don’t need me to stay over night! If you have any other small pets, I'm more than happy and experienced in looking after them for you whilst you're away (I grew up with mice, rabbits and Giant African Snails)! Don't worry, your pets will get plenty of exercise, socialisation and of course lots of love and care with me! Our home has a fully secure terraced garden with 6ft+ old stone walls, so there is no escaping! We have many wonderful walks on our doorstep and our house location is quiet and safe. “Today Oscar visited us again, my dogs recognised him immediately and were very happy of seeing him again. This time after walking my 2 boxers together he also helped me to teach them how to use a special stair for the car boot which I have recently purchased. I can tell that the whole experience was very positive. I learn a lot from Oscar every time on how to interact with my dogs, how to create an easy going environment for the future. Visibly he has a wealth of knowledge on training dogs and control them with kindness, calmness and good energy.”

Courtney displays kindness and friendliness, and intelligence in caring for animals. My dog has been happy and waggy-tailed to see Courtney for a walk!”

About: I’m a vet student, but I’m currently taking a year out of study. I first started working in kennels just over three years ago and I’ve loved it! Working there has given me plenty of experience with a variety of breeds/temperaments I currently still work at kennels, but I’m on a zero hour contract. Winter tends to be very quiet, so I’ll be working fewer days. My availability therefore varies, but at the moment I’m available far more than normal How I care for your pet will vary depending on the individual’s needs, whether that be giving lots of cuddles, or someone who needs more space. Regardless of their personality, I will look after them as well as I can. I’ll make sure their needs are met (food, water, toilet breaks, ensuring everything is clean, exercise, etc). The details of what each pet needs can be discussed and planned on an individual basis. Unfortunately I cannot have any pets in my home because I have two cats who are very nervous, so it wouldn’t be fair on them.

About: If you choose me to look after your pets, you can have full trust that I will give them my best care. I have previously worked at both a kennels and cattery, I've also studied animal welfare and management which has given me experience and skills to give animals the correct care that they deserve. I have been around animals my whole life and do not intend to end this anytime soon, I have previously cared for two large dogs by house sitting and walking them everyday, this taught me invaluable lessons not only with the animals but also with the owner and I can safely say my communication, time management and all round understanding of the animals' behaviours has grown and I'm looking forward to meeting your pets who I can spend time with. I have had my own dog and various other pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles) since I have been a child so my skillset is varied, growing up around animals has made me the person I am today and given me that extra experience to know what your animal needs. I am currently studying a the university of Lincoln, leaving me with a flexible schedule. I attend university a few days a week, which enables me to work with your routine and give the best care for your pets! When looking after your pet, in any service, I will do my best to give them the care we know they deserve. I will make sure I know everything from you, the owners, about your dogs. From their temperament with other dogs, to if you prefer on/off the leash walks. Whatever you need.

“Cannot believe our luck in finding a carer like Cordelia. Our dog went on its dream holiday! Plenty of walks, hurtling through fields, playing with Cordelia’s other dogs. Communication throughout was fantastic - daily photos and updates, super understanding when our flight was delayed, relaxed but professional approach. I suspect my dog is going to feel quite glum for a few days having left the fun of Cordelia’s home and care, but I will be begging to book her in again soon, to know she’ll have a blast and be wonderfully looked after. Thank you so so much Cordelia”

“Mango had the best time and was well looked after. We received updates and pictures and if dogs could smile Mango certainly was! The setup is perfect for dogs with a secure fence and perfect for dog walks. It made us feel a little less guilty for having a night away without her. We could relax knowing she was in safe hands. Would definitely recommend and will be rebooking in the future if we are in the area.”

“Hunny had a great time with Lottie over the weekend. They went on nice long walks and she came back very worn out 😅. She was very quick to reply to messages. I would have liked more photos/communication during her stay but also I didn't ask! Over all happy and would book again :)”
