“The lovely Nadia, and her equally lovely daughter, walked Stan for me this morning, and did such a great job! It was my first time using this app, and she really put me at ease. They popped round to meet Stan the day before (and got on like a house on fire), so he was mega excited to see them again this morning! I'll definitely be hiring Nadia again, and would highly recommend her services! Stanley has 2 new best friends :)”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs all throughout my life, from Rottweilers to Chihuahuas! I have been around dogs since birth, 30 years, but have cared for dogs myself for 14 years. In our household it is myself and my husband Josh, and our 4 year old son, Teddy. We have 4 long haired chihuahuas - Reg, Timmy, Lily and Lettie 🐶 we love them so much! They are used to extra dogs joining their pack and are happy to share love and affection! We have a secured fenced in back garden which provides the dogs ample space to explore and have a run around! We often care for family dogs so we are used to accommodating different feeding schedules. We are happy to administer medication if discussed beforehand, our girl Lettie is on twice daily tablets so we are used to handling this. My husband works from home 3 week days and I work in the mornings during term time (I work in a school) so it would only be a 2 mornings during term times between 8-12.30 when there is no one at home. We are happy to provide as many updates as you would like during your time away via the Rover app or WhatsApp ☺️ Boarding; My husband works from home 3 days a week and I work in the mornings during term time (I work in a school) so it would only be 2 mornings during during term times between 8-12.30 when there is no one at home. We have a secure, fenced in back garden for the doggies to run around and play! For overnight stays, we use a pop up playpen in our kitchen which our dogs sleep in, so we would prefer any boarders to be crate trained just for overnight, but alternative arrangements can be discussed.

About: With many years of 5-star TrustedHouseSitters experience, I specialize in providing attentive and loving care to dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Whether it's an active pup needing constant engagement, a senior dog requiring extra attention, or a large breed like the majestic ShennenHund, I've successfully managed them all. I bring calm, confidence, and patience to every pet sitting, easily handling even the most challenging situations. My history of proven experience, adaptability, and mobility make me the ideal choice for your pet’s care. Pet care is something I take seriously and fit into my schedule with flexibility. I can travel long distances, and any day of the week can work for me with some advance planning. As my schedule can get busy, I appreciate discussing and organizing in advance to ensure your pet receives the best care. Upon arriving at the household, I ask key questions to ensure I respect your home and give the best care to your pets. I’ll ask about what I can and can’t use or access, your pet’s habits, feeding instructions, and, for dogs, I always begin with an initial walk to get acquainted. I also gather important contacts, like your vet and trusted neighbors, and check details like transportation options and nearby supermarkets. I’m mindful of practical concerns, such as how the doors lock and any other specifics, to ensure everything runs smoothly during my stay.

About: I'm used to reactive dogs having a rescue dog for a number of years now. I have always been around energetic dogs and have had small pets for many years. Namely hamsters, rabbits, pet mice and pet rats. I'm currently transitioning from a 9 to 5 office job and so have flexibility to assist people with their pet's need. I do have dog walking and sitting commitments at the moment but I will find a way to ensure I keep my commitments. I have always worked in fields where DBS checks were essential and have gone through a DBS check again which I can produce as requested. I'm a very trust worthy person and treat other people's property with the upmost respect it requires.

About: I have many years of experience volunteering at a shelter. I currently devote all my free time to animals. I love working with them but also their company. I am currently studying and I have a lot of free time to spend with animals. We both need it. I derive pleasure and relaxation from working with animals but also from spending time with them. I have a free room for the animals I care for so they can have "their" space and privacy but also access to the entire house and garden.

About: I currently work at Dogs Trust, so I've got lots of doggy experience, of all breeds, shapes and sizes. I've also had lots of experience working in other rescue shelters across the world, such as in Asia, South America and in Europe! I have done dog sitting for friends and family and send regular updates and photos to make sure the owner can relax, knowing that their pet is happy and safe :) I completed an Animal Behaviour and Welfare Degree at University and have always had a keen interest in animals! I'd say that animals are better companions than humans (lol). I've volunteered at a Canine Hydrotherapy Pool which was very interesting to be a part of and also worked at a dog training and boarding kennels, so I feel I have lots of experience working and being around dogs :) I work part time, and my work schedule changes weekly, one week I work 3 days, the next week I work 5 days. I also work every other weekend. So my schedule is pretty flexible as I am available weekdays and weekends. I am also flexible with my evenings after work! So just give me a message and I can see if I am available:) (Even though I have marked some days as unavailable, this just means I'm at work during the day, free in the evenings! So please message me for any availability:) ) I am patient, attentive and caring, so always giving your doggo the best time, whether that is popping round for a visit, a play and toilet, or having a nice walk in the park. I love an adventure and love walking so I'm very happy to walk! If your dog prefers a more chilled atmosphere, I am also more than happy to relax at home. I have walked many dogs in public and non public spaces, so I am confident walking your dog on lead. I can also be trusted in your home with your dog (I have had many responsible roles in the past, I was a keyholder and managed a shop by myself). I am always happy to answer any questions about myself.

About: Diploma in canine behaviour and canine first aid 🐾 Hello there! For as long as I can remember growing up, we have always had a home full of animals, we never had less than three dogs at one time ranging from St Bernard's to Pomeranian’s to Dogue de Bordeaux and then of course cats too all living happily together, so you could say I am an animal enthusiast! Years of experience has given me an array of knowledge regarding training, diet, temperament and empathy to equip me for taking care of your beloved pets to the best of my ability. Working with animals has always been a drive for me! I believe it is important to create a home from home experience to make space for the highest level of comfort, because of this I ask that during our meet and greet you let me know your training schedule and the commands that you use so that I can carry on with what you have been teaching them, this way they don't pick up any bad habits and they return to you happy and fulfilled. If you have a reactive or antisocial dog that you would prefer I take on one to one I am open to discussing this with you, it is important that yours and your pets needs are met. I have a house with a fenced garden and am also close to lots of great outdoor spaces for walking and adventures. “We couldn’t have wished for better care for our three chihuahuas! We usually leave them with family, but needn’t have worried. Leaving Poppy, Peanut and Mouse with Emily was like leaving them with family. We had regular updates and could see how happy the girls were when we were sent photos of all three relaxing on the sofa with Emily and Josh. Thank you to Emily and her family for treating our dogs as their own 🥰”

Volodymyr M.
“We had Volodymyr come and care for our pet parrot, Willow earlier this year. We can only sing his praises from start to finish. We firstly connected with Volodymyr and had a video call with him and we both found him very easy to chat to, a very interesting person who from the get go made us feel relaxed about him coming to stay at our home and care for Willow. Willow has been in our family for 34 years and is very special to us so we needed someone who we would feel comfortable with caring for him. Volodymyr arranged to visit the day before we went away so we could all settle and feel happy. This worked well so we could show Volodymyr our home and he could meet Willow. Volodymyr cooked us a traditional Ukrainian meal too which was so lovely. When we returned, the house was spotless, nothing was out of place and it was all well looked after. Willow was very well cared for. We would 100% recommend Volodymyr to care for any family pet. He is polite, interesting, very trustworthy and looked after Willow and our home with care.”

Amanda L.
“Arnis has been an absolute blessing when it comes to caring for my dog. From the very beginning, he showed genuine love and attention, treating my pet like his own. Whether it was daily walks, playtime in the garden, or just keeping my dog company while I was away, Arnis was always dependable, calm, and caring. What really stood out was how quickly my dog bonded with him—something that doesn’t happen often. Arnis was also great at noticing little things, like when my dog seemed anxious or needed extra comfort. Knowing someone so responsible and thoughtful was looking after my pet gave me real peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Arnis to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving caregiver”

“Theresa is a fantastic dog sitter, and I can’t recommend her enough! She looked after my dog Jagger with so much care, attention, and love. Thank you, Theresa!”

Sam H.
“Sam has looked after my English Bulldog many times, more times than not this is a chore due to her stubborn nature and the fact that she doesn't want to walk for more than 5 minutes. This isn't the case when Sam looks after her as she has this special little charm on my dog that i don't understand but it is amazing! She is also the kindest and sweetest person and i trust her 100% to walk or dog sit my dog which she has done many times. I wouldn't ask anyone else to do this and i couldn't recommend and praise Sam higher for the days/nights she has looked after my dog.”
