“I was grateful that Ella could accept this booking and appreciated her dropping in to meet Teddy beforehand so she could start getting to know him. Teddy was clearly happy and relaxed after his visit and I won’t hesitate to book Ella again. She is reliable, conscientious and trustworthy and I was pleased to hear she has a particular fondness for small dogs.”

“We only had Libs for a single drop in as we were only away for a couple days, but when we met for introductions I already had a very good feeling about her! She had the exact same gadgets we use for our cat so nothing needed a lot of explaining, she was receptive to instructions and just generally seemed on it. She left us a detailed account of the drop in and plenty of pictures. Seemed to engage our cat really well too and even brought the wheelie bin back in from the street! Thank you 😊”

“Thank you very much for helping out with Red. He seems very happy to let you into his home whilst I was away. You have been an absolute pleasure to have letting Red out and providing him with some love and attention many thanks”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life - currently I have two collies and a pug. Due to this I have extensive knowledge and looking after dogs comes naturally to me such as adequate water top ups, toilet breaks, cuddle sessions, walks, etc. One of my collies is blind and diabetic so I have experience with special needs animals. I am also skilled in administering medication - she is on injectable insulin so I can administer medication through injections with no problem. My other collie has arthritis so I’m also capable to giving tablet form also even if they’re fussy! I also have experience with live in pet sitting having done two years of a couple of two week long live ins for a family friend with French bulldogs. This included feeding, adequate water top ups, walks, playing with, cuddling, cleaning up behind them, and much more! Additionally I’ve puppy sat and been a live in sitter for four weeks from newborn to older stages. This also included a puppy that needed hand feeding. During this I changed the pads, kept the puppies clean and safe, helped mum have free time and feed the pups, giving mum toilet breaks and food and water etc when needed. Additionally at the end of my stay as a perk for the family I made sure to clean their house to the highest standard - I always make sure to leave a place spotless after staying there so you can be sure you’ll come home to happy pets and a clean and tidy home! I currently do not have a job and am home for summer during university - I will be going back to uni on the first week of September where I will have uni twice a week but no more. Because of this I am completely available at the moment! I can do this 7 days a week. I will follow an exact routine should you like to give one. You may make any requests for your animal including how many times they need feeding, walking, cleaning or washing. I’l always ensure a clean and topped up water bowl with fresh cold water and make sure to mop up any spillages, as well as cleaning food bowls after every meal. If you don’t wish to give a routine that’s absolutely fine I will follow your basics and provide fun filled days for your animals based on their energy levels. Food will always be given correctly based on the food manufacturers suggestion for your pet and/or how you like them to be fed. I like to keep dogs leashed during walks as I believe this keeps them safe - however if I find somewhere safe for them to be let off or you can provide evidence of fantastic recall I am happy to take them off leash.

About: My name is Imogen and I have diplomas in animal care and a bachelor degree in animal science & welfare. I can pet sit any species needed (of any age) including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, rodents and reptiles. This includes feeding, bathing, walking, grooming etc. I love all animals and caring for them. I am pet sitting and dog walking part-time currently as I have recently graduated college. I am available on weekdays and weekends morning, afternoon and evening. I can stay the night if needed as well. I will care for them in the owners house however the owner wishes. I will feed and water every day, play with the pet, groom if requested and bathe after walking dogs if they get dirty. I also do visual health checks often to ensure their health. I have several years experience with animal care.

About: My experience is varied: I have lived with dogs at different times when sharing accommodation (and helped with walks, pets and sometimes even training). When I set out as a nomad in 2019 I volunteered in a dog shelter (about 30-40 dogs, some on wheelchairs) and towards the end of 2020 I started doing pet sitting, the first one was planned to be 1 month and ended as 4!. It's been incredible: I have since sat for many different dogs, from a bark-y Border Collie afraid of loud noises to a super smart rescue mutt, from a Miniature Pinscher to a gentle giant and a Rhodesian Ridgeback "puppy". Some well trained, some unruly, some older, some younger and some that I was given the pleasure to do some training with, especially for pulling on the lead (she made lots of progress, we both did, as it was a learning curve for me too). I have done pet sitting for cats at times, the most memorable was the one pictured in the photos, he was free to roam and one day came back with quite the nasty injury but we got it to heal and close up within a short time, with lots of care and attention (and dashing at doors so he would not escape during the healing process!). The owner was surprised to see him cuddling with me as he doesn't like most humans, so I like to think he knew I wasn't keeping him a prisoner for no reason. I have also fed fishes, a snake and an iguana, and watered plants of course =) I freelance and work from home, which makes my schedule incredibly flexible. Weekdays, weekends, it's all mixed together and adaptable, so just tell me your pet needs and we'll work around them. For hobbies, I like to play board games, read a book, do a puzzle or watch something online. All pretty relaxed :) I also play the ukulele (though some sound sensitive dogs have meant pausing practice while sitting, eheh). With pets, and especially dogs, it's important to be consistent. They thrive on their routines. I would aim to learn what your daily activites look like (walks, feeding, play time, etc.) and match them. I can also help with a little bit of traning if needed or welcomed. I have several experiences with anxious dogs (either anxious towards people, towards other dogs or both) and know how to handle encounters with others during walks. All my sits so far have gone very smoothly and the dogs/cats and I have bonded every time. I can provide a link to some reviews on other platforms until I have built some here.

About: I've grown up around animals from lambs and chickens to dogs and cats. I've also done dog walking for friends and family. Cared for dogs in animal shelters and adoption fairs. I've learnt husbandry care through my current degree in animal science and am constantly in close contact helping dogs into their harnesses and finding treats they enjoy at work in a pet store. I currently work part time and attend uni on Mondays + Tuesdays. Therefore Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays I'm unavailable for the first half of the day but happy to care for your pets in the afternoons as well as mornings during the rest of the week. As my calander follows term times I will be much more available during school holidays. So please don't put of reaching out just to check as I personally know how stressful it can be finding someone during holidays to look after your pet. I want to make you as the owner feel confident and secure and so will require information no matter the service I'll be providing in order to make sure we're all comfortable. Any rules, health issues or precautions that I may need to know I'll ask for and follow securely as no owner wants to worry about their pet or the person looking after them. I'm also more than happy to take photos and update you whenever they're in my care.

About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs from an early age. From getting my first rescue cat at the age of 4, to helping care for my Labradors litter of puppies and former Golden Doodle - until sadly I moved from my grandparents home, to which I heavily miss having a furry friend around! I’m currently working full time office hours, on a Monday to Friday basis. I would be available for pet care in the evenings, but completely available over the Friday to Sunday period. I have a large high fenced grass garden, with gated entry from our own private drive way. I live in a quiet and isolated housing estate, with only 11 other homes close by. Living rurally allows an excellent environment to window stare for cats and a lovely scenery with large areas far from the quiet roads for walks. I live in a 3 bedroom semi detached home, so there is plenty of space for your furry companions to be comfortable and have their own space if needed.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, ensuring they are well-fed, exercised, and comfortable. I’ve looked after a variety of breeds and temperaments, tailoring my approach to each pet’s needs. Whether it’s taking dogs on regular walks, playing with them, or maintaining a clean litter area for cats, I always prioritize their health, happiness, and safety. I’m also attentive to any signs of illness or distress and know when to seek veterinary help. I currently work full time in a school so I would therefore need this to work around my main job. At present I am off for the school holidays and have lots of flexibility however as of the 1st September I will return to work. Monday to Friday I work from 8:45 until 15:45 with two to three later finishes a week, normally no later then 16:00-16:30. On Fridays I finish at 15:30. Weekends I do not work so therefore have more flexibility. Depending on the animal I would like to meet with pet owners at there house to ensure their home and garden is safe and secure enough for me to feel comfortable to take care of their pet.

About: Fully Qualified in pet sitting and dog walking. Full DBS has been completed. I have had previous experience working in a Boarding Kennels. I have had several Dogs myself of many different breeds. I also used to train Greyhounds and Whippets within the Racing environment. I set up the business to continue my love of working with animals. But mainly to provide a service that allows Clients to ensure their pets are well looked after when other commitments call. I know how close to us our pets are so clear communication with my Clients on how their pet is doing would be key. I set up Bark 4 the Lead at the beginning of 2024. This is my full time Job so the pets that are boarded here have my full attention throughout the day and night. I offer dog walking which I complete in the morning for a couple of my Clients. I live in a very quiet area down a service track. The property is fenced in with no other pets in the household. I recommend clients to visit with their pets prior to booking so they feel comfortable and reassured.

“Lily was charming, very professional and a great find for us! We will definitely use her again. She was most accommodating and concerned to provide the best possible service for our two boys, Reggie and Alfie. She provided comprehensive feedback during her visits so that we were reassured that they were being expertly looked after. Would highly recommend. Serena”

“Megan was great with our cat Byron while we were away. She is really friendly, very reliable and came round to meet Byron before we went away despite it being very short notice. She kept us regularly up to date with photos, videos and notes after each visit and my cat looked very happy and well looked after while she was there. I’d definitely recommend her for cat sitting and would happily book her again next time we go away. Thanks Megan! 😊”

About: I have grown up with pets from a very young age, coming from an animal loving family I have always been around and loved animals. My first pet was a hamster and I also had cats and dogs growing up. Currently I have a cat called Bagheera I got him when he was a kitten and he is turning 8 this year. He is an extremely nervous cat and having him has taught me a lot about the unique personalities of our pets and their needs. I have looked after neighbours and friends pets and I am always excited to spend time with them. I offer a variety of walk durations and can adapt to your dog's individual needs. I'm a great fit for dogs who enjoy exploring Cromer and the surrounding beaches and parks, or who prefer a more relaxed pace. As a pet owner I understand how much they mean to you, and I am dedicated to provide the care and attention they need and make their wellbeing and safety a priority. I'm currently working full time Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. I am available in the evenings and anytime on the weekends and bank holidays. Whether looking after your pet at home or taking them out for a walk I will ensure that they are safe and be mindful of their individual needs. I will also ensure to maintain good communication of your pets behaviour and well-being. I am a very organised person and maintaining a clean and tidy environment comes naturally to me.

About: Growing up with trained labradors has taught me lots about caring for dogs. As well behaved as they are, you will find them lounging on sofas and beds, living life comfortably. I know how to look after dogs of all ages. Currently, I work part-time as a lifeguard near where I live. I am able to walk dogs twice a day, feed whenever necessary and keep them company. My garden is large and fenced. Two friendly black labradors live inside and will welcome any other dog immediately. I have a crate too, if that is what you wish for!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 11, and had cats around my whole life. I am an animal lover and I love meeting new cats and dogs. I work for an animal charity. 🐾 I work from home Monday - Thursday and have a flexible diary. I can offer dog walks, pet sitting at your house and drop in visits to look after your pet and make sure they are comfortable, safe and happy whilst you’re away. Happy to offer house calls, walks and house sitting for both dogs and cats. I love all animals and look forward to helping you out with yours 😃

About: I’m a gentle and loving character towards all dogs. I love going on walks and am happy to adjust this depending on the dogs needs. I am confident in providing medications if needed and can follow instructions well for any more complicated prescriptions. I currently work remotely from home, so will be around to keep your dog company throughout the day and to go on walks over lunch and at the end of the day! I am confident around dogs of all sizes and adept to their needs, recognising when they need to go outside and if they are not eating as expected.

About: I've been around dogs since I was born, older dogs and puppies, so I am comfortable with dogs of any age and most sizes! I love getting out in any weather for walks, and am comfortable taking more energetic dogs for longer walks if required. I also have some experience pet sitting dogs who require medication and am comfortable with doing so if needed. I currently work for the National Trust along the North Norfolk coast. I have previously worked as a marine biologist for various charities where I have experience in wild animal handling, so I am fairly confident in looking after most pets. I'm an early riser and enjoy walking in the morning and would welcome a walking companion! My fiancée (who would also be helping dogsit) is also a dog lover. Jess has grown up with dogs as pets, and also worked at her uncles dog kennels - so has plenty of experience with lots of different dogs! (Jess is also on Rover as a verified sitter). I am very careful about the environment I would introduce a dog to and make sure they are comfortable, calm and don't feel overwhelmed. I have a large garden, but have lots of walks just nearby too. I think having a dogs trust is vital so I always like to meet a dog before a stay if possible and allow them to approach me at their own pace without stressing them out.

About: I've grown up with dogs + fish. Now I've had 2 beautiful cats for the last 3 years. My partner, who will also help, has grown up with cats/dogs/chickens and more! Between the 2 of us we have 2 dogs and 3 cats currently. I work from home full time in the golden triangle so can easily pop out to check in on pups or kittens😺. My partner works from her salon Tuesday - Friday in fakenham so she can also provide services there if need be. We have a big car so taking big dogs out for a great walk is easy to do! My garden is fenced but only 3ft. Therefore they can use it for toilets etc with me supervising but I'd aim to take your dogs out for nice walks (if they are able to).

So I would go out of my way to provide that service. I work from home. I live in a 8 bedroom townhouse opposite the beach, so lots of beach walks every day. Massive area downstairs where animals will be comfortable. My pets are like humans. They get so much love and attention that they’re more than just a pet, they’re part of our family. Sophie G.
“Sophie looked after our two dogs fantastically when she stayed at ours house sitting for two weeks. They were walked as much as we asked, fed exactly how we asked, had lovely clean fresh bowls of water and spent time together playing in the garden, I would say they had her full attention from what we saw. We also got frequent photo updates of what the dogs were up to with captions from Soph with updates which was lovely while we were away. She also kept us updated with when she had arrived, when she was going out, when she was taking the dogs etc which was really nice to know. The dogs love her and whenever she’s around now they hardly leave her side which is lovely to see, she’s just generally a lovely ball of light and you can see she’s in her element - the animals love her.”

Imogen B.Star Sitter
“Hello I have known lovely Imogen all her life and she has grown into a beautiful young woman that values animals more than anything. I can honestly say I have never seen so much love, dedication and sacrifice towards animals. She shows these beautiful qualities also to her own pets and other's pets too. She has looked after my lovely dog a number of times and stayed with him through the night and my dog loves her sometimes more than me at times I think:) I have never seen such a beautiful soul that would actually give her life for all animals. She would be a fabulous pet caregiver because of the huge amount of love she has for them and she is extremely responsible because she wouldn't want any harm to come to any animal but especially to those in her care and would give them the love, time, patience and affection they need and deserve. I can't praise Imogen enough, she's perfect for this role.🐶”

Luca M.
“Luca sat for us for a week and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We met a few weeks prior for a dog walk so Luca could meet the dogs and the day before the sit spent the evening with us as we had an early morning flight. Luca was fab with our dog harry who is quite nervous of males & you could see he had previously spent time with anxious dogs and harry took to him straight away. Luca kept in contact regularly throughout the sit with messages and photos of how the dogs were getting on & asked any questions if unsure of anything. When we arrived home the house had been left immaculate. I would 100% recommend Luca and would be happy to have him sit for our pooches again, he was very reliable and trusted”

Maya L.
“Maya has been looking after my two dogs for nearly a year now, they absolutely adore her it’s so nice to see how excited they get when she comes to look after them. She’s a happy, friendly, smiley person, always on time and treats my dogs like her own. Couldn’t ask for more from a sitter!!!! Would absolutely recommend.”

She is friendly and approachable, good at communicating and obviously loves cats and dogs a lot. Alex looked after my dog during a brief period of medication, which he was happy to help with no issues.”
