About: Myself and my partner have both grown up around dogs. We look after family and friends dogs as well as our 1 year 8 month old Beagle called Rolo who we welcomed in to our family from 8 weeks old. He is treated like a prince👑 as will your furbaby while staying with us. Any training you’re currently doing or want us to start can be carried on whilst you’re on holiday. I am currently on Maternity Leave so I am able to give all the love and attention to make your furbaby feel comfortable, safe and at home. My partner Tom is home of an evening and takes Rolo (our dog) for his evening walk and gives him plenty of loving fuss as he will with yours! We have a fenced garden and have an energetic Beagle to keep your furbaby company while they’re here on their holidays. Crate trained dogs only please! Also If that’s something we can help you with we are more than happy to help. Your furbaby must be ok with other dogs and young children/babies. No furbaby’s in the bed but welcome on the sofa for a lovely cuddle and cheeky post walk nap (if they would like)!

We got the feeling that nothing was too much trouble for her, and we're very grateful that she could take in our dog at such short notice. We would definitely recommend Andrea and her beautiful dog.”

About: I'm a true cat lover and I have taken care of cats of different ages from kittens to adult cats for friends and neighbours. I am also a cat owner, I have a cat called Bagheera. I got him as a kitten and he will be turning 8 this year. I've always been fascinated by the unique personalities of our feline companions and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I will ensure your cat receives the care they need, including feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and plenty of cuddles.
“Trouble free support from Imogen, far far easier than shuffling our furry friend to a cattery. As for Mau, he just wants to know when Imogen will return, seems he was chuffed with the “new friend” and extra attention 🙂. Highly recommended”

About: Pet Care Experience As a family, dogs have always been part of our home. We've grown up surrounded by dogs and know first hand how much love, patience, and attention they need to feel safe and happy. From bouncy puppies who need extra playtime and training, to senior dogs who need a gentler pace and special care, we are confident and experienced in meeting each dog’s unique needs. We are comfortable with administering medication, maintaining routines, and providing plenty of cuddles in between. Your dog will join our family for their stay. We have two children who are experienced and confident with dogs as well as our own black labrador Dobby! We treat every dog like they’re part of our family. Your pup won’t just be looked after – they’ll be loved, walked, and made to feel right at home. We focus on creating a calm, safe environment while also making sure there’s lots of fun, enrichment, and exercise. Whether it’s reinforcing puppy training, giving extra patience to anxious dogs, or making senior pups feel comfortable, we tailor our care to each dog’s personality and needs. We’re lucky to have flexible roles and mostly work from home, which means your dog will rarely be left alone. Our days easily revolve around walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddle breaks. Because we’re home throughout the day, we can stick closely to your dog’s usual routine—whether that’s regular potty breaks, meal times, or just keeping them company so they feel relaxed and cared for. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always our top priorities. At home, we have a large, grassed garden that’s perfect for playtime and exploring in a secure space. We live in a peaceful rural setting, just a short walk from the beach, so dogs enjoy plenty of fresh air, safe walks, and lots of opportunities to sniff, run, and relax. Inside the home, pets are treated like part of the family—never left out, always supervised, and free to enjoy a calm, welcoming environment. We make sure every dog settles in at their own pace and follow their usual routines to help them feel secure and happy.

We were all very reassured by Maya’s relaxed and confident approach, we were happy to leave the cats in her care.”

“Nina is a fabulous cat sitter. I needed a cat sitter at short notice as I'd been let down last minute. Nina came to the house before & met myself & the cats. She's polite respectful & the cats loved her. Will definitely book her again. ”

“Zoe was fabulous with our Henry! He’s a very pampered cat.. and isn’t sure of new people. But he was very settled and happy with Zoe. A chilled calm and happy little man when we returned home after a couple of days away. Zoe sent me a few photos- which is super reassuring. She took great care of our home. We would not hesitate to ask for Zoe again, or recommend her!”

“Jackie was great with our kitten Mish, she sent lots of pics and even offered and went out to get some dry food for us as we’d run out whilst we were away! She also did some hoovering and made the bed up before leaving which was so appreciated and saved us some time when we came back from holiday all tired out.”

“We cannot recommend Kelly, highly enough. Prior to looking after Bentley, Kelly visited twice and got to know Bentley. Kelly asked pertinent questions and it was clear that she is an animal lover. On our return the house was as we left it and Bentley very happy. Thank you Kelly.”

“Jez was kind enough to look after my rambunctious devon rex kitten over the holidays and I could not be happier with how it went. Lots of communication and updates. I knew Cherry was in good hands!”

I also have a cat only room as i do usually have dogs in my home. Rest assured the kittens and cats do not have to come into contact with the dogs and have a climbing, adventurous room to themselves!

Between the 2 of us we have 2 dogs and 3 cats currently. I work from home full time in the golden triangle so can easily pop out to check in on pups or kittens😺. My partner works from her salon Tuesday - Friday in fakenham so she can also provide services there if need be. We have a big car so taking big dogs out for a great walk is easy to do! My garden is fenced but only 3ft. Therefore they can use it for toilets etc with me supervising but I'd aim to take your dogs out for nice walks (if they are able to).

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine & nothing beats a wagging tail! Having spent 14 years as a professional dog walker in Surrey, we moved to Norfolk for my husbands job and a slower pace of life, but for me something was missing, my four legged friends. Treating your dog as my own, providing the love, care and attention, that they deserve on their walks and stays. I am DBS checked & having my own Public Liability Insurance for dog walking & sitting. I will provide a safe, fun and sociable service. Sometimes life just stands in the way of providing the time and attention your beloved pet requires. So come walk, feed or play, I will be there. Having moved here recently and settling into our new life in the country, I am not currently working, so it would fit in perfectly with a school run in the mix. I have a large fenced garden, with plenty of space to explore, with a miniature dachshund who loves to socialise and play. I have 2 children, aged 10 & 11, who love dogs, the outdoors & exploring.
“Alex looked after our crazy little lad Merlin perfectly. He’s very contactable and reliable, as well as being a genuine guy. I trust him implicitly. He sent photo updates regularly as he took Merlin on a great long walk. Safe to say Merlin was thoroughly unimpressed when I picked him up at the end of the day, he didn’t want to leave at all! I’d 100% recommend Alex 👍”

About: I’m an 18-year-old female living on a farm, with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I have two dogs of my own, including one who is quite nervous, so I understand the importance of patience, attention, and tailoring walks to suit each dog’s individual needs. I’m also confident handling larger, energetic dogs—my spaniels certainly keep me on my toes! At home, I care for an indoor cat who loves plenty of affection, so I’m equally comfortable providing gentle, attentive care for cats. I’m looking to offer dog walking and pet sitting alongside my studies, combining my passion for animals with staying active, while making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I am currently studying radiology My availability’s are: Monday 3-5pm Tuesday 9-11am Wednesday 9am-5pm Thursday 2-5pm Friday 1-3pm Saturday & Sunday all day If you do have any requests for other times feel free to get in contact and i may be able to be flexible however this is my current time frames I focus on keeping things safe, calm, and consistent for every pet. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible and take note of any specific needs, whether that’s a nervous dog who needs a bit more patience or a high-energy dog that needs proper handling on walks. In an owner’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions around feeding, exercise, and care. I make sure pets are secure at all times—checking leads, gates, and surroundings. At my home on the farm, there’s plenty of space, but pets are always supervised in a safe environment, I am very aware of the ability dogs and cats may have as I’ve seen my puppy jump a big gate . Overall, I just aim to keep pets comfortable and well looked after while and for their owners to feel comfortable and confident their pets will be safe
About: I have been providing trusted pet care for family, friends, and neighbours since my teenage years. Growing up with three Staffies, I developed a deep understanding of dog behaviour early on. I have also loved and raised two dogs of my own: an Old Time Bulldog and, more recently, Trixie, our sweet Romanian rescue. I am highly comfortable with different breeds, histories, and rescue backgrounds. Our household is also home to two friendly indoor cats. one curious and one shy! We are also well-versed in feline personalities and boundaries. I would love to open up our home to care for your pets with the exact same love, attention, and dedication we give our own. My partner and I both work full time with a hybrid office and work from home schedule. Our routines are perfectly balanced so that at least one of us is almost always at home during the day. We can provide dedicated attention, frequent toilet breaks and walks, and companionship during the week and throughout the weekend. In our home, your pet becomes a true part of the family. We have a large, secure, fenced garden that is perfect for zoomies, sniffing, and safe playtime. Because one of us is almost always working from home, your dog will enjoy a natural, stress free routine filled with companionship, regular toilet breaks, and plenty of sofa cuddles. We absolutely love going for walks and will tailor the outdoor time to your dog's specific energy levels, whether that means an active trek or a gentle sniff walk. Since we have two indoor cats, we keep guest dogs in our main living areas and can use secure separation when needed to ensure everyone feels entirely safe and relaxed. When caring for your pets in your own home, my absolute priority is maintaining their normal, comforting routine. I will follow your exact instructions for feeding, medication, and sleep setups. For dogs, I love taking them out for their favourite local walks and ensuring they get plenty of outdoor exercise and stimulation. For cats and smaller pets, I dedicate focused time to interactive play or quiet companionship, depending on their personality. I am extremely respectful of your space, keeping your home perfectly clean, secure, and tidy. I will also send regular photo updates so you have total peace of mind 😊
About: I am delighted to join the Rover community as I want to share my love of and experience with dogs and help you with your lovely canine family members. I am very proud to describe myself as a mad dog lady: I have had my own dogs for over 24 years and grew up with dogs throughout my childhood. I have taken care of many dogs – from puppies to the elderly – and have experience in administering medication, should the need arise. We currently have a 6-year-old male (intact) Tibetan Terrier, Barney, having lost my beautiful Large Münsterlander nearly 4 years ago. We all miss having two dogs in the house (particularly Barney) and so I have decided to open my home to care for other dogs. We live in Ringland and have a large fully enclosed back garden and access to wonderful rural walks. My husband and I are retired but very active, and Barney gets at least two 40-minute walks a day (from the door – no need for car journeys), as well as lots of attention during the day. We would be delighted to host well-behaved, fully house trained, small to medium sized dogs (up to Red Setter, Golden Retriever, Labrador size) BUT they must get on with Barney. He is very friendly and very dog-motivated, but it will be necessary to have a meet and greet with Barney before agreeing terms. I would be happy to consider both boarding here and daycare (drop off here in Ringland). Please contact me with any enquiries. Thank you for taking the time to read this advert and I look forward to meeting your Canine family members. My husband and I are now fully retired and home with our pampered pooch much of the time, so an additional well-behaved dog would be welcome to our home. We have a large fully enclosed back garden and access from the doorstep to wonderful rural walks. I have experience in administering medication, if needed.
“Amazing! Great giving me lots of information and asking questions prior to our first visit. So friendly and welcoming when dropping him off and then updates and photos in the day - just the reassurance I didn’t know I wanted! At pick up he was so happy playing barely noticed me! Will certainly be recommending and re-using Amy! 🖤”

“The dogs had a lovely time and Julie was brilliant with them. They looked happy in the photos and were very relaxed when we picked them up, all walked and fed. Julie was lovely and her home was safe, secure and comfortable. Highly recommend.”

“Pinar took such good care of our miniature dachshund bramble. She gave us lots of updates throughout, photos and videos. We felt like Pintar and her family looked after Bramble as if she was their own dog. Would definitely recommend her to anyone”

“We were travelling to Norwich for a family wedding but did not want to leave our French Bulldog Claude in kennels. Cara looked after him over the weekend. As soon as I met her I knew that he would be well looked after! I felt completely at ease and Claude was quite happy to stay with Cara. She was a wonderful sitter and a lovely person. Claude had a great time and we were able to enjoy our wedding. I would not hesitate to recommend Cara. She went above and beyond to help us during our stay - even bringing Claude back to our Airbnb. Thank you so much you’re a star!”

About: We’re lifelong dog lovers and take a considered, personal approach so each dog receives plenty of individual attention. My husband and I both work from home full time, meaning dogs in our care are rarely left alone and enjoy consistent company throughout the day. During the week, our home is particularly calm as our two children (aged 6 and 8) are at school. We share our home with our own 3-year-old dog, who is relaxed, friendly, and well socialised with other dogs. Our children have grown up around dogs and are gentle and respectful, understanding when a dog needs space. We are best suited to dogs who are comfortable in a family environment and around children. Our home is spacious, with several quiet areas where dogs can rest if they prefer their own space, as well as the option to stay close to us in our home office. We also have a secure, fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time. Sleeping arrangements are flexible and tailored to your dog’s usual routine. We follow a calm, consistent daily routine, including at least one walk a day, and we’re happy to maintain your dog’s normal feeding, medication, and care. Ahead of booking, we ask owners to share any special requirements so we can provide thoughtful, personalised care. We’re always happy to arrange a meet and greet to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. We both work from home full time with our own rescue dog who we take for daily walks, so always looking for more furry company! As already mentioned, you can rest assured your dog is in safe hands - our garden is fully fenced. We can also go for on-lead walks for your peace of mind.
About: I've had a dog since I was a child, almost 4 years ago I got our Bedlington whippet Rufus. I am not a fan of aversive training methods. I work from home and have time to let the doggy out into the garden and play with them during my breaks. Doggies can play together or just chill next to me in the bed of my spare room/office. We have woods nearby where we go for walks every day. I can only sit potty trained non-destructive dogs that can get on with neutered male dog. I have a fenced garden, it is not large but big enough for some zoomies. Doggies can be on the sofa or beds and will be let out to the garden whenever ring the reception bell I have placed next to the door to the garden. Rufus has learnt to ring it and your pooch no doubt will too easily, if they howl at me I'll come running as well.

“Steve is relaxed and confident with dogs, he clearly knows how to handle and look after them and my dog Dulu was happy to be in Steve’s house and especially enjoyed playing with his dog Logan. I particularly liked the home from home environment and wouldn’t hesitate to leave Dulu with Steve again.”

About: I have grown up with pets from a very young age, coming from an animal loving family I have always been around and loved animals. My first pet was a hamster and I also had cats and dogs growing up. Currently I have a cat called Bagheera I got him when he was a kitten and he is turning 9 this year. He is an extremely nervous cat and having him has taught me a lot about the unique personalities of our pets and their needs. I have looked after neighbours and friends pets and I am always excited to spend time with them. I offer a variety of walk durations and can adapt to your dog's individual needs. I'm a great fit for dogs who enjoy exploring Cromer and the surrounding beaches and parks, or who prefer a more relaxed pace. As a pet owner I understand how much they mean to you, and I am dedicated to provide the care and attention they need and make their wellbeing and safety a priority. I work full time Monday to Friday, so I am mainly available at weekends and on bank holidays. My working hours are fairly flexible though, so I may also be able to help during the week if required — send me a message and we can discuss it. Whether looking after your pet at home or taking them out for a walk I will ensure that they are safe and be mindful of their individual needs. I will also ensure to maintain good communication of your pets behaviour and well-being. I am a very organised person and maintaining a clean and tidy environment comes naturally to me.
“Lisa did a great job taking care of our 6mo labradoodle puppy, from taking the time to really get to know her requirements during the initial meet and greet to keeping us up to date with her walks/visits with lovely photos and detailed notes. 5/5, would entrust pet with Lisa again.”

About: I've grown up around animals from lambs and chickens to dogs and cats. I've also done dog walking for friends and family. Cared for dogs in animal shelters and adoption fairs. I've learnt husbandry care through my current degree in animal science and am constantly in close contact helping dogs into their harnesses and finding treats they enjoy at work in a pet store. I currently work part time and attend uni on Mondays + Tuesdays. Therefore Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays I'm unavailable for the first half of the day but happy to care for your pets in the afternoons as well as mornings during the rest of the week. As my calander follows term times I will be much more available during school holidays. So please don't put of reaching out just to check as I personally know how stressful it can be finding someone during holidays to look after your pet. I want to make you as the owner feel confident and secure and so will require information no matter the service I'll be providing in order to make sure we're all comfortable. Any rules, health issues or precautions that I may need to know I'll ask for and follow securely as no owner wants to worry about their pet or the person looking after them. I'm also more than happy to take photos and update you whenever they're in my care.

“Dogs know a good person when they meet one. Boycie had first walk with Rebecca and he didn't want to leave her. She is professional and know’s what she is doing. Highly recommended and will most certainly use Rebecca in the future.”

“Thank you to Amy (and her kids) for walking our dog Paco while he stayed at my parents in Aylsham. He can be a handful sometimes and difficult with other dogs, but I felt he was in safe hands. Amy sent photos and maps of the routes they had walked. Thank you!”

About: I have taken care of pets all of my life, growing up surrounded by animals and dogs means I know their needs and behaviours. I have a genuine love and care for animals and treat every pet as my own. I have a Romanian rescue called Mila, she is 5 years old now and I’ve had her since she was a few months old. Mila came to me after a rough start in life, scared of humans and never walked on a lead before. Years of consistent training, patience and a lot of love has gone into the dog she is today - this has helped me to gain a good amount of experience to be able to deal with triggers, special requirements and understanding dog behaviour. I work full time however I am always open to discuss new drop ins/walks, I am out with my own dog 3 times a day on my two days off and we are happy for other dogs to join us. Drops in can be arranged on request. I am happy to drop in to your home for visits and walk dogs on or off lead depending on their recall/ owners wishes. I take their safety as seriously as I take my own dogs safety.
“Hattie took the dogs for a lovely walk and fed them their lunch. She sent me cute photos and confirmed that they had both peed and pooped. The dogs were in fine fettle when I got home later. Thanks Hattie!”

“I am very overprotective with my 2 pups and was very anxious to let someone else see to them. Trafford however was amazing! He took my girls out on 3 walks today, he let me know when he finished each walk and double checked with me about things that he didn’t want to assume was okay! Very polite and updated me on my girls throughout the day. Highly recommend and will be using again!”

Inside, the home is open-plan with plenty of room to relax, along with soft furnishings and lots of toys to keep dogs happy and entertained. For added safety, all human food is kept well out of reach, so you can feel confident your dog is in a secure and carefully managed environment.
About: Growing up with trained labradors has taught me lots about caring for dogs. As well behaved as they are, you will find them lounging on sofas and beds, living life comfortably. I know how to look after dogs of all ages. Currently, I work part-time as a lifeguard near where I live. I am able to walk dogs twice a day, feed whenever necessary and keep them company. My garden is large and fenced. Two friendly black labradors live inside and will welcome any other dog immediately. I have a crate too, if that is what you wish for!
About: I have been looking after animals my whole life. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs of different sizes and ages. I used to rescue stray animals so I have been in contact with lots of animals over the years. I currently have 3 dogs (2 large dogs and 1 small dog) and 3 cats which I love very much. I also have experience looking after birds (mainly chickens) and rabbits. An interesting fact about me: A few years ago, I got accepted into the VET school. But I dropped out shortly after to pursue another dream of mine. I started considering pet sitting during the pandemic. Because I now work 100% remotely, I felt I could do something else with my spare time. Since I love being around animals, I thought pet sitting might be something I could do as I have experience looking after animals, and I love spending time with them. I'm currently working from home, so I have the flexibility to organise my day the way I want. I have full flexibility over the weekend because I am off work, but I can manage pet sitting tasks during the week as well. I can only care for a pet at the owner's house. I would normally agree with the owner on a schedule. The last pet sittings I have done have been at the owner's house. They would usually let me know the dog's needs, how many times a day it needs feeding, walking etc. I was also able to provide medication. I was happy to look after the house, take out the bins and collect the post while the owners were gone. We also agreed I would update them with a daily picture of the dog and let them know how the day went. Owners have different requests so I always make sure I understand their needs before I get booked in and actually move into the house. So I try to adjust based on every pet sitting request I get.
About: I grew up in a dog-loving home with an Irish Red Setter rescue and a Doberman we raised from a puppy, so I'm no stranger to big dogs with big personalities. Over the years, I've cared for pups of all sizes, breeds, and ages—from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while you're away. A recent move means I am now taking on new clients in and around Norwich. Please see my reviews and reach out for a chat if I can help to care for your pup! I’m working from home, with plenty of gaps in between for toilet breaks and walks in the park - I like to get away from my desk when I can and would love for your dog to join me. I’ve been house sitting for a number of years, both through Rover (please check my reviews) and word of mouth from my existing clients. I will care for your home as if it is my own. I am happy to discuss carrying out tasks unrelated to your pup, too.
About: I've grown up with dogs + fish. Now I've had 2 beautiful cats for the last 3 years. My partner, who will also help, has grown up with cats/dogs/chickens and more!

Dropped my 5 month golden retriever off for the first time who can be very bitey and lively and was instantly reassured that this wouldn’t be an issue at all - was sent pictures/video throughout the time he spent there and updates on when he was walked/fed etc. There is access to a garden in back which is always handy and made friends Kirsty's dog.
