About: I have had a Dog in my family all my life until I moved to England to be an Au pair in 2017. Since than I am missing having a dog so much that I have decided to join Rover. I helped my Au pair family with their Newfoundland who was at the time 2 years old and needed some training, being a little teenager. Unfortunately, he dies last her because of a Heart-condition which broke my heart. I also look after my friend's Golden retriever sometimes, I know her since she is a puppy and I enjoy spending time with her. I take her sometimes with me to the office I work at in Harrogate to pretend I have a dog for a day. I just love dogs and love spending time with them. I work hybride in an office and I’m at home, Tuesdays and Fridays. So I can take your Dog for walks then. I’m also off work every other Friday. I aim to provide the same quality of care that you provide for your own pets, ideally I would not disrupt their schedules and carefully follow all the information given to me about your pet. To me open communication is the key to trust, after all you are leaving my in charge of loving your fur baby!

About: I started house/pet sitting for a family friend while they went on holiday so they didn’t have to send their dog somewhere else. Since then I have cared for both dogs and cats ranging from 18 weeks to 14 years old. I have my own Jack Russell so I understand how important our pets are and know how valuable it is to go away knowing your pet is safe and happy. I provide a service that will match exactly what you do, I have the flexibility of working from home and have a clean driving license which means I can travel. I’m a role where I can work from anywhere that has WIFI. The company I work for are very supportive and I have the ability to manage my own time to meet the needs of the pets and their owners. I work 9 to 5 Monday to Friday with weekends off so plenty of time before and after work to meet the needs of pets and provide the best care and company. I can break off throughout the day to provide the care needed. I try and replicate exactly what owners do to keep pets as calm and in a routine where possible. For example I will copy the same meal times, how long they go for a walk, where they’re allowed to sleep, if they shouldn’t be left, if the pet is currently puppy training etc. My purpose is to make pets feel as safe and happy as possible until their owners return, my role is to give them as much love and fun while maintaining the same routine.

“Natalie, seemed to Get on with Tiffany very well, and sent regular photos of her round meal times, even going to check if she was in the house if Tiffy did not come to greet her at the door.”

About: 🌟 Dogs have been part of my household for as long as I can remember, from Shi Tzu's to German Shepherds, I love them all! My real experience includes 7 years working at Whinney Hill Kennels in Northern Ireland where I fed, walked, groomed and cared for dogs who's parents were on holiday. 🌟 My responsibilities included solo and group walks of up to 10 dogs (along with another member of staff), managing dogs with behavioural issues, administering medications, feeding, ensuring the dogs and their kennels are kept clean and of course delivering a lot of TLC. 🌟 Whilst at Whinney Hill I learned how to work with dogs of all different temperaments and cater to their needs, making their experience away from home comfortable and full of love and fun. 🌈 Having just lost my beautiful 13 year old German Shepherd, Koda, I really miss having a dog around, which is why I’ve created this profile. I’m not quite ready to get another one of my own just yet, so this feels like the perfect way to get my dog fix! 🌟 Thanks for taking the time to read my profile, your dog will be safe, loved, and cared for with me, just as if they were my own 😊 Hope to hear from you soon! Lucy As I work nights from Friday to Sunday, I’m available for pet care during the weekdays. My schedule is very flexible, and I can occasionally offer weekend daytime care as well. Please feel free to reach out with any questions! When out on walks, your pup’s safety will always come first — I’ll use both a slip lead and a clip lead to ensure they’re secure at all times. I also like to take the time to chat with you about your dog’s individual needs — whether they’re reactive around other dogs, people, children (or even squirrels!), or if they’re sensitive to certain treats, loud noises, or being petted. I truly understand that every dog is unique and requires care that suits their personality. I believe an initial meeting is important so we can build trust and start a positive relationship. Above all, my goal is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable with me, and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing your pup is in the best hands. Please don't hesitate to ask me more about this if you have any specific questions 😊

About: Hi, I’m Gemma – an experienced and caring pet sitter with a soft spot for animals of all shapes and sizes. I’ve been looking after pets since I was a teenager, and I now share my home with a mini zoo of my own: a boisterous goldendoodle, two very vocal cats, and Gary the snail (who’s less vocal but just as much a part of the gang!). Having used this app myself to find sitters, I completely understand the nerves that can come with leaving your beloved pets - and your home - in someone else’s hands. That’s why I bring a calm, reliable presence, clear communication, and respect for the routines and quirks that make your pets who they are. I’m confident and experienced with well-socialised dogs of all breeds and sizes, and happy to follow any care plans or instructions you provide - whether that’s medication, feeding routines, or training reinforcement. I have time for a couple of long walks per day, and I’m flexible to fit around your pet’s needs. I’m also cat-savvy and understand that some kitties need a bit of time and space to warm up to new people. I’m patient, gentle, and good at building trust - especially with more reserved or cautious cats. I offer respectful care of your home while you're away and am happy to keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Let me know what your furry (or slimy!) friends need - I’d love to help ☺️ I work flexibly from home, so I can usually plan my day around your pet’s needs. Whether they’re early risers or couch potatoes, I’ll follow their lead and keep things consistent while you’re away. When I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for mine. I’m calm, tidy, and good at reading what animals need - whether that’s playtime, quiet company, or just sticking to the usual routine. Happy to send updates too if you like staying in the loop.

About: I’ve had family dogs since I was 4 - looking after them until they were old and needed more gentle attention (13 and 14 years old). I also have experience looking after puppies: one of my dogs had two litters of puppies when I was a child and five years ago (in lockdown) my family got a giant schnauzer puppy who I adore. I work part-time (including work for the dog-food brand pure) so my schedule changes each week but is pretty flexible. I don't drive but am happy to walk/bus to you! I will ask for any specific requirements your dog needs - taking them for a walk with their own lead and making sure they always have attention

About: Since I was a child I’ve had experience with reactive dogs, walking them, feeding them and generally caring for them. I trained my two most recent dogs from pups and have been missing them since moving to Leeds for university so I’d love to extend my care and affection towards your pets!! I’m currently on summer holiday and won’t be returning to my studies until late September so I’d love to spend my spare time with furry friends, when I return to my studies I plan on continuing this work however, limiting to a couple days during the week and weekends. Due to student housing I will only be able to pet sit inside the comfort of the pets home which would ensure the pets are as relaxed as possible, I can follow any routines required and further request.

“Thanks so much for looking after our cat whilst we were away. Very well looked after and took the anxiety away of leaving the cat alone for the first time. Went above and beyond - even hoovered the litter, which he gets everywhere!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, having grown up with two cats, Tiger and Jet, who we got when I was 10. Sadly, Jet passed away after a year, but Tiger lived a long and happy life, reaching the grand age of 18 before passing in January 2024. These days, I’m the proud mum of two Spanish rescue dogs: Bobby, who joined our family in January 2024, and Juan, who we adopted in October 2024. They’ve completely changed my world and taught me so much about the joys (and realities!) of full-time rescue dog life. Back in high school, I did work experience at a cattery and kennels, and for over 10 years I’ve lovingly cared for my best friend’s retired racing greyhounds: Lady, Reuben (her son), and now Honey - whenever they go on holiday. I still dog sit Honey to this day, and I love her so much. She is part of my family and I’m part of hers! I’ve also dog sat many times for my brother’s gorgeous working cocker spaniel, Goose, having her to stay for days at a time. She’s full of energy and personality, and we’ve had so many fun adventures together, from long walks and countryside rambles to relaxed pub visits and cosy evenings on the sofa! I’m fun, kind, reliable, and I genuinely prefer animals over people! Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa or long walks in the fresh air, your pet will be loved like one of my own ❤️ I work remotely from home, so I’m always with my two boys. They get at least three walks a day, plenty of cuddles, tasty treats, and lots of chill time while I’m in meetings or working at my computer. I know how important routine, love, and companionship are for pets - because I live it every day. I live in a cosy flat with a small balcony that has a tall glass wall. My two dogs love spending a bit of time out there, but I’ll only allow guest dogs on the balcony if their owners are happy with it - and I’m more than happy to supervise them at all times for safety and peace of mind. Inside, your pup will feel right at home. I have a crate available if needed, plus plenty of soft dog beds to snuggle up in. The sofa and bed are absolutely not off limits - comfort is key, and cuddles are always welcome! I do prefer looking after dogs in my own home, as my dog, Juan, is a nervous rescue and doesn’t feel comfortable in unfamiliar environments or around strangers. That said, he gets on brilliantly with other dogs and loves having a furry friend or two around! I’m also happy to pick up local dogs to join us for walks or toilet breaks - since we head out every day, it fits naturally into our routine. And with enough notice, I may be able to dog sit overnight in your home without my two dogs, as long as my partner is available to stay with them while I’m away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from a young age and during university had a regular (a few days almost every week) dog/cat sitting gig that would go on to last 5 years. Those animals became like my own and if I hadn’t moved to the UK I don’t think I would have ever stopped seeing them! I also worked at a doggy day care/boarding facility for a summer and learned a lot about training and dog care. It was the best job - it was a shame that my studies conflicted in the end. I work full time but work from home most Mondays or Fridays at the moment. When I have a dog they come everywhere with me, and only in rare occurrences would we leave them at home alone and only for short periods. My partner Rob and I share pet care responsibilities so we can easily time manage between us. The main reason we dog sit is a love of dogs and an inability to have our own at the moment. Dogs who come here are treated like our own - they’re welcome on the furniture (as long as that’s fine with you!) and sleep wherever they’re most comfortable, so are welcome in the bed if they want. As I live in a flat I l always take dogs out for at least two walks a day (as well as multiple potty breaks) to make sure we both get plenty of exercise. On a weekend I love to get out for long country walks, so having a doggie friend is just another reason to get out there!

“Georgia was fantastic, she looked after my cat very well and cared for him while I was away, I’m forever grateful for her accepting my request the last minute and taking good care of Ethan. Thank you!”

“Raphael has been great with our lively little pup, Poppy. He has dropped in a few times, played with her, let her outside and fed her. We would be happy to book him again if we need dog care in the future.”

“I definitely recommend Natalie, she has looked after Sakura (our cat) several times now. There are never any issues, there is great communication everytime and when she checks-in we get regular photos/updates which is lovely and reassuring that she's doing okay. Thanks so much Natalie.”

About: I have a Bobtail in Mexico whom I deeply miss—she taught me the patience, love, and attention every dog deserves. I understand how important it is for owners to feel their pets are cared for like family. I’ve walked and cared for dogs in Mexico, adapting to different breeds, temperaments, and needs. Whether it’s energetic pups or senior dogs, I know how to keep them safe and happy. Having cared for dogs in another country, I’m attentive to unique behaviors and needs. This isn’t just a job for me it’s a way to stay close to my love for dogs while I’m away from my own. I’ll treat your pet with the same devotion I’d want for my Bobtail. We try to post our daily routine while we are looking after dogs, you can find us on Instagram as @CY.Dog_ Dog care fits perfectly into my daily routine. I’m currently doing a PhD and work mostly from home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pup attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks. We love having canine companions around to brighten our study breaks, and our flat even has a secure terrace where dogs can relax, sunbathe, and watch the world go by. Between walks, cuddles, and a calm home environment, your dog will feel right at ease with us! Dog care fits perfectly into my daily routine. I’m currently doing a PhD and work mostly from home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pup attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks.

About: Hi! I’m Chinelle, a pet lover! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have the most experience with small and medium breeds, and I always make sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every pet like they’re my own🥰 Starting university in September so I am free to take any booked in services until then! 😊 Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life. My family welcomed a two-month-old puppy when I was just eight years old, and I had the privilege of growing up alongside him. I cared for him through every stage of life—from playful puppyhood, through his energetic adult years, to his gentle senior days, and finally, I stayed by his side until the very end. This experience taught me more than basic care; I understand the changing needs of dogs as they grow, from training young puppies with patience to providing extra comfort and care for older dogs. I know how to spot little changes in mood, appetite, or behavior—because every dog deserves to be truly seen and loved. I’ve lived the full circle of love with a dog, and I care for every pet like they are family. I work part-time, so I’m flexible and ready to provide loving pet care whenever needed, fitting around your schedule to give pets my full attention. My home isn’t set up for pets, so I provide care through walks or by visiting your home. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment while respecting your pet’s routine and comfort. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, or just companionship, I’m there to ensure your pet feels cared for and secure in their own space.

“Abbie was so good with little Erik. Erik took a shine quite quickly to her. She was prompt and on time and everything was so tidy when we got back. We enjoyed her messages each day she looked after him too. Would highly recommend her ☺️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was 14. I’ve had 4 family dogs who we’ve had since puppies and have also dog sat for other family members and friends. I have also used borrow my doggy and looked after people’s dogs for multiple nights. I am in my last week of exams of my law degree and after that have no commitments so will be able to give your dogs all the love, care and walks they need! Within my building we have a garden on the first floor which is fenced so the dogs are free to roam around but am also right next to the canal for long walks or on the viaduct for quick walk with some greenery to sniff :)

About: I’ve been pet sitting since high school and walked dogs daily during university. I grew up with cats at home and dogs at my grandparents’ place, so I’ve been around animals my whole life. Currently, I have a very flexible schedule as I’m working on my dissertation, so I can easily accommodate pet sitting into my daily routine. Most of the time I work from home, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets. Occasionally, I need to go back the lab, but I’m usually free after 3 PM, and I can plan my lab visits around the pets’ needs if necessary. Whether I’m looking after pets at my place or the owner’s home, I always try to make them feel as comfortable and happy as possible. I stick to their usual routine — like feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. I also make sure the space is safe and cozy for them to relax in. Plus, I like spending quality time with them so they don’t feel lonely while their owner is away!

Vivian B.Star Sitter
“Vivian is the official dog whisperer! All 3 of our dogs love/have loved her. They know where they stand with her, she sticks to your routine and requests, offers tips if you want them and showers the dogs with love, importantly, how they like to receive it. Vivian has looked after our dogs for over 6 years, for both daily walks and dog/house sitting for weeks on end. She is trustworthy, honest and a joy to work with. Our dogs are big dogs - newfoundland and St Bernard X's, Vivian also looks after small doggies. Basically, there's no dog she can't handle, she has a magic touch with them. We can't recommend her enough.”

Faye K.
“We asked Faye to look after our cat for the day while we were at the races and she did a great job. We didn’t want to leave him for too long. Faye was happy to stay with him all day, making sure he was fed at his normal times, had plenty of water and cuddles before we returned home.”

“I've had the pleasure of using Lizzi's sitting services for a number of years, and she has always been a staunch animal lover and who's especially adept with dogs of all shapes and sizes. We've enlisted Lizzi to look after our two medium sized dogs, one of whom is dog and prey reactive, to do overnight or multi-day sitting sessions exercising them in an enclosed garden. Each time we've used Lizzi to sit our pups, we can be safe in the knowledge that our dogs are well cared for, safe and secure. We always come home to two happy and entertained dogs. Thanks lizzi!”

What is especially wonderful is that dogs love her too (even one of our dogs who is particularly shy and timid loves Hattie). We feel we can go away without worries, knowing our dogs and home are in safe hands with Hattie. I recommend Hattie as a dog-walker and/or dog-sitter without hesitation.”

There was never a moments worry when she was sitting. Do not hesitate to engage her as a pet sitter - you and your pets will love her too!”

She 100% likes animals more than people and so would prioritise them over anything else when she’s caring for them.
