About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from calm to big and full of energy. My own dog, Remy—a 2½-year-old labradoodle—is large, friendly, playful, and great with other dogs, so visiting dogs always have a friend to keep them company. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog with someone new—when I first got Remy, I didn’t go away for a whole year because I worried about finding the right care. Having had amazing experiences with sitters on Rover, I know exactly what made me feel reassured: a safe environment, plenty of exercise, and regular updates. I’m confident handling energetic dogs, managing group play, and making sure each dog gets the attention and care they need. I work from home a majority of the time (though I do also occasions have last-min travel for work so please message before booking), which allows me to take care of my own dog, Remy. On weekdays, we start the day with a long morning walk (around 1 hour 20 minutes) before work, and finish with a shorter 20-minute walk in the evening after work. In between, there are plenty of bathroom breaks, and play sessions. Weekends often include longer walks, but I’m happy to adapt our routine to match your dog’s needs—whether that’s more exercise for energetic dogs or a slower pace for older or more relaxed dogs. I plan my day around dogs, so I can make sure they get the right balance of exercise, stimulation, rest (and cuddles if they want them!) Our home is completely dog-friendly, with a secure, enclosed garden (I’ve included a picture on my profile) for safe outdoor play. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable—either in the bedroom with us, in a bed in the living room, or we have a crate if they prefer their own space. Before any booking, I arrange a meet-and-greet so you can see the house, meet Remy, and make sure you feel happy about where your dog will be staying.
