About: I am fully insured and have Canine First Aid Level 2 (QTV) so I am trained for emergencies. I also grew up with both resource-guarding and reactive dogs so I know their behaviours intuitively. As a child I helped my grandmother with her dog grooming business, and I have also raised and trained my puppy into a recall-trained Jack Russell. I’m cheap because I do not have a car, meaning any walks will take place around your local neighbourhood or park/beach (if nearby). I am currently a student on summer break so I have the time to give your pups the attention they need! I am going on holiday 16-27th June, but am free before and after. I make sure I have a slip-lead for emergencies, bottled water, portable dog bowl, treats (if allowed or you supply) and dog first aid kit in case of any emergency. I make sure after every walk, I give the owners an update about how their dog did, anything they did, if they peed or pooped, etc.

About: Hi, I am Jo and I am a complete animal lover. I have experience looking after both dogs and cats and have significant experience caring for British Bulldogs (the most stubborn, and loving, of them all!) I have experience of all size dogs and am comfortable caring for more than one dog (and cats) at a time, puppies, older dogs and also our more nervous/shy furry friends. I am comfortable walking dogs on and off the lead and will happily follow your usual dogs routine. I also have experience caring for kittens and cats. I live in a flat (stairs, no lift) and have access to a communal garden area. This is a quiet area and there are many kind furry friends in the neighbourhood. I am able to offer day care in my home and toilet breaks as often as necessary. I am also lucky to live right next to Southampton Common, a wonderful walking space. I own a car and am more than happy to transport your dog somewhere else so they can enjoy a good runaround. I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful furry friend in the future! I keep my availability up to date and am able to accommodate short-notice requests as well as bookings for the future. I work from home as a nail artist (self employed) and, so, benefit from a range of availability and can be flexible when caring for your pet. When caring for your pet, whether that be in your home or at mine, I will always seek to follow the instructions and routine you provide me. I will ensure they are fed, walked, played with and provided lots of love and attention! Through conversations with you, I will seek to understand your pets likes, dislikes and routine so I can best provide this on your behalf.

“Laura was really good with walking our dog jaxon. She Updated us everyday with photos. I highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a reliable and trustworthy person to walk or care for their fur babies.”

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, I’ve developed a deep understanding of pets’ emotional and physical needs. I don’t just “watch” animals — I genuinely care for them as if they were my own. I also hold a valid professional academic certificate in pet care, which means I bring both real-life experience and certified knowledge to the table. Whether it’s walking energetic pups, caring for senior pets, or simply making sure your furry friend feels safe and loved, I’m here to provide dependable and compassionate care that stands out. I have a very flexible schedule. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening care, I can adjust to meet your pet’s needs.Flexibility allows me to be reliable — and pets thrive with consistency and care. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in yours, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, comfort, and structure. I follow the owner’s instructions closely — from feeding schedules to walking routines — and I’m always alert to any changes in behavior or health. If I’m in your home, I respect your space completely and aim to leave things just as I found them (if not better!). If pets are with me, they’re in a secure, clean, and relaxed environment where they get the attention and care they’re used to. I also hold a professional certificate in pet care, so I know how to handle pets safely and responsibly, whether they’re high-energy puppies or seniors needing extra support.

About: Life time enjoyment of caring for pets. I’ve grown up with every type of animal from living on a farm. My love for pets has no limits. I grew up in Guernsey the wonderful smaller isle of the Channel Islands, and have moved to Portsmouth almost 2 years ago, I had been looking after my work Colleagues dogs and then he mentioned this fantastic app Rover so thought I’d join in the fun and have dogs around me more often and I love it!! I would love to help with your pets care, from a hamster to a dog I am happy to help where I can. let me help you enjoy your holiday or event you may have planned by taking out the worry of what can you do with your pet. We are both DBS credited so you will have peace of mind your home will be in safe hands. We can watch your dog and why not bring your hamster for a holiday to! We have pet cameras linked to the phones so know your pets every move whilst out of the home, they are motion and noise activated so rest assured we are always watching. We also work on the town whilst hubby is driving around doing maintenance he will go home for toilet brakes and puppy cuddles 🥰 I also work 5 minutes from the house and have the ability to leave my work place at anytime. I work mixed hours so your pets are never left for more than 4 hours. Myself and partner both work however but our shifts are different making it easy to care for your pet. Early afternoon finishes for hubby. Late morning starts for me and we also have the weekends off. The longest they would be left is for approximately 4 hours till someone is back home. Hubby works out and about in his van so can always pop in for puppy pats and treats. we would be happy to take two dogs from the same home to board at our home. we can offer pop ins if near by early in the morning or lunch time, also walks in the afternoon and evening. High walled back yard with plenty of space to run and play. No children to pull and poke your beloved pet. Two adults who adore animals but can’t have our own. We would welcome any opportunity to look after your pet. Doggy therapy is the best.

About: I’ve had experience in caring for animals for my whole life, as I have always had animals. Also, I have looked after pets in their own environments, provided walks when needed and kept them entertained via playing (although that’s the best part!). I’m currently a student, just finishing up my degree so I have a lot of spare time in the mornings and evenings, any day of the week. Feeding and playing with your pet is no issue with me, as well as the harder parts of cleaning a litter tray or administering tablets or liquid medications.

About: Hello, I’m Lisa and I’ve lived with and taken care of all manner of animals my whole life. I grew up on farms with chickens, dogs, cats, and cared for my own horses for years. I’ve grown up alongside my family dog Oscar, the tibetan terrier and his dearly missed brother Arlo, the cocker spaniel. Oscar has since gained a new baby brother in Bruno, the cockerpoo, who exists to be his karma for terrorising Arlo when he was younger. I have a lot of experience caring for both high and low energy dogs, and have also cared for cats - pet sitting for family friends when they’re away from home. I moved away from my family home, and have had to leave the family pets behind, hence why I am now searching for the opportunity to care for animals, as I have not yet gotten the chance to adopt a new family member! I work shifts at my work so my availability varies. Days off vary between weekends and weekdays, and I am either working day shifts or late shifts. I live in a 2-bedroom house with an enclosed garden, perfect for both dogs and cats. I am walking distance from several parks in the Chandler’s Ford area and have my own transportation so I am able to travel if required.

“John is fantastic with our very energetic, boisterous lab. Maple clearly loves the walks and is very excited when John arrives. He takes her such varied, long walks and we are very grateful-will definitely be booking again.”

“We couldn’t give a higher recommendation! Your pet will be in the safest of hands with Steve! Each time we go away we have regular pictures and updates to keep our mind at absolute ease. After a recent decline in our cats health he now patiently and carefully administers regular oral medication to our not-so-compliant girl as well as feeds her according to our specialised meal plan, ensures she had access to clean fresh water and cleans out the litter tray and disposes of the litter so it is never a hassle when we got back! Thanks Steve!”
