“As soon as we were welcomed into Nicola’s home, our very nervous cockapoo settled! Nicola was fab with him and cared for him like he was her own. He was very happy with Nicola and he is already looking forward to his next stay! It’s clear Nicola has the biggest love of all dogs 🤍”

About: I have years of experience looking after big dog and caring for animals. I have lots of free time and can give your pets lots of love and attention. I have lots of time and will be happy to look after your pets at my house to give them lots of cuddles, love and care. I have fully enclosed garden with high fences. I can provide a comfortable environment for your pets to feel safe and at home. I will attend to all their needs.

“Kieran and his girlfriend were the perfect dog day carers, couldn’t ask for more. Great communication before and during our dog’s stay, picture updates, very warm and welcoming, professional, friendly, flexible. Perfect set-up at their house on a quiet lane, enclosed garden, lots of open countryside all around. Ideal and will be keeping them in mind if we need a doggie day-care in the area again. 5 stars, perfect.”

“Alexandra is amazing! This is the second time she looked after Ruby and it looks like Ruby loves her 😊 also Alexandra keeps sending pictures of their adventures during the day, what’s is always nice to receive! Definitely would drop Ruby off here again if we around the area, pretty sure Ruby would love that too!”

About: I have cared for animals from the age of 11, when my parents set up boarding kennels, I lived and breathed the company of the dogs we cared for. As well as many years experience working at the kennels, I am always first choice for friends and family who need pet care or walks whether they are at work, going on holiday or just too busy that particular day. They all know I prefer animals over humans and don’t take it personally! I’m currently taking a break from work and can look after your fur babies every day and overnight if required, either at my home or theirs. I am available for walks every day or even just company and belly rubs if that’s all your baby needs. I have a private fenced garden and your pets will be in the safest hands. I have a 3 year old Labrador who could be great company for your fur baby, Willow loves to swim at any opportunity and run in the fields, rain or shine, day or night and sometimes all day!

“Chloe and Josh were super friendly and worked happily around our very energetic pup. They were reassuring and keep us updated with lots of photos. Would definitely use again and Papillon came out with a new friend in Hugo”

About: I have two very cute cocker spaniels called Fern and Bessie who are 3 and 4. They both love other doggies! I work from home most days of the week so am around to look after your dog most days. We walk three times a day. A short one in the morning, half an hour at lunch and then an hour after work usually in the woods or up a mountain! We live in the centre of Windermere so have access to so many beautiful dog walks I work from home most days of the week (2 days in the office sporadically). I joke that I have a second full time job as a dog mum! I have a small garden for the dogs to do their wees and poos but we mostly take them out for lots of fun walks

“I messaged Leanne last minute to puppy sit for my 10 week old Dachshund called Enzo due to urgent conference at work. Leanne was lovely and friendly and was more than happy to help! Enzo and Mildred (Leanne’s Pug) had a fab day together keeping each other entertained, Leanne kept me updated throughout the day with lots of lovely pictures of them both! Cannot recommend her enough, will definitely be using Leanne in future ❤️❤️ P.S I promise your sister will get a chance to look after him too 😉”

About: Looked after dogs for many years as a child and adult. Experience with young, old, pregnant and energetic dogs. More recently looked after cats for extended periods of time and really enjoyed that too I'm working from home full time, so I'm available to take breaks for walks in the day, keep them company and ensure they're fed and watered. I have a small back garden for any quick toilet needs, but also WFH I have time to go on day time walks. Plenty of beds and couches for a comfy nap too.

About: Me and my husky Eska are excited to welcome your dog into our home! I have experience living in a family with six dogs over the years, of varying breeds, from puppy to elderly. I make sure to prioritise Eska, and will treat any dog i’m looking after with the same care and attention - this means lots of walks and cuddles! I am a freelance designer, and very flexible. I have plenty of time to walk your dog, encourage play time with toys and any other care that may be required. My home is clean, tidy and free of hazards. I have full access to a fully fenced dog park for off-lead exercise. I have space for multiple dogs to be cared for, including overnight.

About: Hi, my name is Danielle, i'm 35 and I live with my partner in Ulverston in Cumbria. I grew up surrounded by animals but unfortunately they have all now passed away. The bond I had with my sable collie and my two cats is something I miss on a day to day to basis and is the reason I decided to sign up to Rover. I would love the chance to be able to assist with the care of dogs and / or cats as this would not only satisfy the animals and their owners needs, but my own too. I am happy to check in on your dog(s) and / or cats(s), or look after them for as long as you need me to. I would love to meet your furry friend(s) 🐶😺 I am available most days, and I have a lot of love, care and patience to give, so please don't hesitate to contact me - I would to help people where I can. In my home: I have a fenced back garden and your pet(s) would be fully supervised at all times. In your home: I am available to see to your pet(s) needs as well as keeping them company for as long you'd like me too. I can also stay over night if that is something you'd like me to do.

“Jazmin was great and will definitely be looking to book her again. It was our first time leaving our 5 month old pup Cooper and she was great. Sent loads of photos and he looked to be having a great time, think he was a bit disappointed when I brought him home. Really friendly, met up beforehand just to get a feel, delighted she was happy to look after him as he has that typical puppy energy at the moment. Thanks again!”

About: My website highlights stories of the dogs I’ve taken care of at Windermere Dog Sitting and I can provide documentation for home boarding licence, DBS check and professional pet business insurance. I work part time as an online nutritionist so I have plenty of time to take care of dogs too. We usually go out for 2-3 nature walks a day. I have a secure garden and plenty of toys, fluffy bedding and a very clean and tidy home. Amber (my young cockapoo) is the only other being in my household.

“I have known Rebecca since she was a child and she has always had dogs in her life. Her father was, I believe, a gun dog trainer and Rebecca often helped out with their general care. Rebecca has a natural ability with dogs and her own dog, willow, is testament to this.”

“Elizabeth has always been caring and kind towards all animals, but particularly dogs. This includes sponsoring guide dogs and rescue dogs overseas, to now having her own rescue dog, which she has provided a lovely home to. Elizabeth is very active and enjoys getting out and about, walking and hiking. She also has a calm disposition, positive energy, and she is very trustworthy and reliable.”
