Olivia was great, she arranged a meet & greet in my local area. My dog is a rescue who still finds strangers a bit unnerving but Olivia was very patient with him and understanding. She came to the house to pick him up, wasn’t put off by barking whilst getting out of house and gave me some lovely updates afterwards. Thanks Olivia! We’ll be booking again asap ☺️

About: Growing up I never had a pet, I always longed for having a four-legged friend. While my own experience in dog care hasn't been extensive, I have had the joy of taking care of my partner’s family dogs whenever they are away on a trip (which has been fairly often!). They are 2 chihuahuas, Alfie and Nancy. Alfie was an elderly dog that required special attention through medication, regular cuddles, and feeding. I have also looked after my friend's puppy Hazel, a cocker spaniel, and went on long walks and trained her to play fetch and respond to commands like 'middle' and 'find'. My partner is also incredibly well accustomed to any dogs, he loves every dog he walks up to and has grown up around many dogs throughout his childhood and now into adulthood. Whether your dog loves a brisk walk, a playful romp, or a quiet stroll, I'm here to make each outing fun, safe, and fulfilling. I’m dependable, communicative, and can keep you updated so you always know how your furry friend is doing. I’d love to meet your pup and bring a little more joy to their day! I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means I can adapt my day to fit your pet’s needs. I’m available for daily walks and boarding any day in the week, making it easy to plan consistent, reliable care for your dog whenever you need it. Whether it’s a midday walk to break up their day or overnight stays for extra peace of mind, I’m here to help keep your pup happy and comfortable. P.S You can call me Karen! I have a secure, fenced backyard that gives your dog plenty of space to play and relax safely. My home is pet-free, so your dog will have my full attention without any distractions from other animals. I have a variety of dog toys, and snacks. If your dog is more comfortable being crated at times, I can provide that as well to ensure they feel safe and at ease during their stay.

About: I’ve always loved dogs from a young age, but as my father is blind I’ve never been able to have one myself. However, to compensate for this, I have cared for both family and friends dogs for extended periods during their trips away and have found great delight and enjoyment in this. I have plenty of time to look after and dedicate to your furry friends alongside my work. Please feel free to reach out for specific availability! When caring for pets in an owners home, I like to understand what the pets usual routine is. I strive to stick as close as possible to this during my time with them so that they do not become stressed or upset and the experience is as easy as possible for them.

About: I adore dogs, cats and other animals and I am surrounded by them in my personal life which is why I have chosen to advertise my freelance services on Rover to help out other pet owners, in my year out before uni and to continue with clients whilst studying! Being a dog owner myself I understand the difficulties when it comes to finding the best way to care for your dog while you’re on holiday/ working/ travelling. I pride myself on being diligent and routine as well as caring and compassionate, all animals are treated like my own! I always want owners to feel at ease and peace of mind which is why I am happy to take on any requests your pets need, their routine is so important! I am active and healthy and love walking, never say no to a game of ball or tug of war, and a big fan of KONG toys, snuffle mats and doggy puzzles. I am super comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes from Ridgebacks to Dachsunds. I have my own insurance and I am now Canine First Aid trained, happy to provide my certificate! I have regular clients outside of Rover also, so if people would like more references I am more than happy to provide. Please don’t hesitate to message with any enquiries! I am currently taking a Gap Year before University so my schedule is very flexible to accommodate dogsitting requests. I have a UK Driving License so can expand my area for services and travel freely. I am happy to supervise when letting dogs out in other owners gardens. More than happy to crate owners dogs in their home. I am very diligent about what treats and titbits are allowed as my own dog can be sensitive and to such. Any requests dog owners have I will always adhere to, whether general house rules and routine for their dog or maintaining training with their dog.

Jordan has been an absolute lifesaver when it comes to caring for my dog, Tyson. From the very beginning, she made sure he felt comfortable and loved, and I could immediately tell he was in great hands. She’s reliable, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond—whether it's sending updates, giving him extra attention, or making sure his routine stays consistent. Tyson is always excited to see her, and that says it all. I couldn't recommend Jordan more highly!

Kate has cared for our 10 year old puggle Bertie on many occasions. She has taken him on tailored walks to meet his needs which he thoroughly enjoys. Just recently she cared for him overnight at our home while we were on holiday sending messages and short videos of reassurance to me. I consider Kate to be a very trustworthy, reliable, caring person who I am always happy to leave my four legged fur baby with. I always return to find a very happy, contented Bertie.

Evie is a fantastic dog sitter. She has dog sat my two border terriers countless of times in the past and never has anything bad or catastrophic happened. I've always had my dogs returned as very happy dogs and most importantly all in one piece! She's very dedicated and disciplined when it comes to looking after animals, she feeds them on time, takes them for walks two times a day, and gives them lots of love and attention. I think her dedication is evident in the fact that she looks after horses and also has a dog of her own, so she is very experienced. I would recommend Evie to anyone who wants a committed dog sitter/dog walker because she is fantastic!

Mike’s amazing with dogs, cats and any animals! He has owned dogs for as long as I’ve known him (25+ years.) he previously had a crazy beagle cross for the best part of ten years for which he trained into a lovely pup. Mike has also currently got a lovely cavapoo dog and previously also had two gorgeous well loved cats. Mike is responsible, caring and empathetic. He takes time to understand animals and owners needs and would be a great fit for you and your pet. I would trust him with any of my animals wholeheartedly.
