About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my whole life, and up until recently, I’ve always had pets in the house. Since moving to London from my home in Canada, I have been missing the joy I get from being around animals. With my years of experience as a pet owner, you can be sure that I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. I also have lots of experience volunteering with rescue/shelter animals. I’ve worked with cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, etc… I have patience for building trust with timid or fearful pets, and am passionate about caring for elderly pets. I’ve worked on behaviour modification plans with cats and dogs with social issues - I like a challenge, and am willing to take the time to earn the affection of your pet! I’ve worked with big and small dogs, and am used to walking dogs that pull or jump. No matter their personality, I will treat your pet with the love and care they deserve. ** PLEASE NOTE: rates will sometimes have to be adjusted slightly based on your individual situation and travel time. I will always discuss this with you before proceeding. I am an actor/singer with a fairly flexible schedule. I also work part-time but given enough notice I can easily work with you to schedule your service. I aim to create time for your pets whenever possible, and would love to spend time with them! I will treat your home like it’s my own, while making sure your pets are as comfortable as possible. You can trust that I will treat your home and pets with respect and care.

About: I’ve been booked a few times now through Rover to look after both dogs and cats. I have a calm personality which I believe creates a calming atmosphere and the pets seem happy and relaxed around me and I bond well with the pets I have been looking after. I work from the office Tue-Wed but can take care of your pet around that. On my spare time I like to go for walks in the park, read, and take photograph. I’m studying at the moment so I do spend a lot of time at home. I live in a flat but happy to go for walks around the area regularly. There’s a smaller dog park close to my flat and also a large park not too far away to go for a longer walks.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud cat mum to two fur babies. I have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs, including feeding, grooming, administering basic medications, and supporting pets with anxiety or special routines. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and my genuine love for animals. I take time to understand each pet’s personality—whether it’s an energetic puppy, a nervous rescue, or a senior pet needing extra gentleness. I’m also not afraid of the less glamorous tasks like cleaning litter trays or handling muddy paws! Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m currently on holiday from university, so I’m home full-time and have plenty of time to give your pets the attention and care they need. My flexible schedule means I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine—whether that’s regular walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care. At my home, your pets can enjoy a secure, fenced garden perfect for supervised play and fresh air. I live next to a large park, ideal for walks, exercise, and socialising in a safe outdoor space. Plus, I have two friendly cats who can keep your pets company and help them feel more at home. Whether caring for your pets at my place or yours, I follow their routines closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free. You can trust that your pets will be treated like family, with plenty of love, patience, and attention to their safety and happiness.

About: New users get £15 off their first booking with Rover with code JESSR71897 📣 I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently co-care for our 2 wonderful cocker spaniels with my mum - Lil who is a lively 12-year-old that I’ve raised from a puppy, and Oscar who is a sweet but deeply anxious 7 year who we rescued from a life of trauma from a rescue centre in Wales. Supporting his recovery has taught me so much about patience, gentleness, and tuning into what each dog really needs to feel safe ☺️ I’m currently in between jobs, after stepping away from a high-stress work environment to take a break, reconnect with what I love, and focus on what brings me joy and calm - animals being a huge part of that. Right now, I’ve got all the time in the world to give your dog my full attention, whether that’s long walks, sofa snuggles, or just being a calm, steady presence in their day 🧡 Whether I’m caring for a playful pup or a nervous older dog, I treat them like family - because they are. My approach is grounded, loving, and always tailored to what helps your dog feel their happiest and most relaxed self 🐶 I’m currently in between jobs after stepping away from a high-pressure role, and I’m taking this time to slow down, reset, and focus on the things that bring me joy, animals being a huge part of that. I have plenty of time and flexibility in my days right now, which means your pet will get my full attention and care. Longer term, I plan to return to work in a remote or hybrid role, so dog care will continue to be a natural and regular part of my home routine. I’m used to balancing focus time with dog walks, cuddles, and play breaks — it’s honestly the best way to spend a day! I live in a spacious, pet-friendly flat with no other animals or children, so dogs in my care get a calm and quiet environment with lots of one-on-one attention. While I don’t have a private garden, I’m surrounded by green spaces just a short walk away — including parks and a beautiful riverside path that’s perfect for regular walks and toilet breaks. I co-care for my mum’s two cocker spaniels, Lil and Oscar — they live with her full-time, so they won’t be in the home while I’m caring for other dogs. But if your dog enjoys the company of others, they’re both lovely, gentle, and very sociable — so play dates can absolutely be arranged if that’s something your pup would benefit from! Whether I’m looking after a dog in my own space or staying in their home, I aim to stick closely to their usual routine — from walk times and feeding to any special quirks, meds, or cuddles on the sofa. I want your dog to feel safe, happy, and totally at ease while you’re away — and I’ll always send regular updates so you can relax, too.

“Amazing experience with Polina. Cesare can be a bit overexcited but she handle him really well and the 2 had really good time together! Definitely recommend her and for sure I will keep contact her 🫶🏼”

“Our dog Sunny needs extra, special care - he's senior with eyesight & hearing issues. We know Sunny is in caring hands with Josh and can tell Sunny loves his walks! Josh is incredibly reliable and attentive to our little Sunny, we're so grateful for him.”

About: I have taken care of and had animals in my home since I was a young child. I have had the pleasure of meeting and caring for family, friends and acquaintances' pets throughout my life; being around animals will always be my comfort zone. I am currently freelancing from home so I can be very flexible with the dates and times of bookings! Plenty of time to look after the pets. The house has a large living room and ground floor, including a large fenced grass garden for dogs to play or relax. I also give dogs the option of fresh air and play at daycare bookings if the owner permits.

“Olga has been such a great help! She walked my Doberman very well, was able to handle his behaviour. Was overall a very good walk, from the pictures she sent I could tell Max had a very good time!”

About: Will care for and love your dog like my own. Have grown up with dogs and cats in the family. Whilst I prepare for a dog of my own, I enjoy walking, training and playing with friends dogs and would love to get to know your dog. I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so happy to have a regular canine companion on those days. I may be available on some Tuesdays but couldn’t commit to every Tuesday. I can be available on weekends, day or evening. I live in a flat on the 5th floor with a balcony. Your dog would only be allowed on the balcony under full supervision. Your dog is welcome on my sofa. There is a large park less than a 10 minute walk away. I don’t have any pets so your dog will have my full attention.

“Chris had no issues handling Buddy, even though Buddy can be very challenging. Was flexible, punctual, and very helpful to leave my pup fed, as we get home from work very late. Highly reccomend, and we will continue to hire him. Cheers mate”

About: I think taking care of pets are a pretty serious job, cause they are part of someones family and dogs as cats have to be treated with love and care to make your job well. And also it's such a fun activity to do walk with pets. I'm available at the moment to work part time and temporarily these months. All weekdays and if you want weekends as well until 6pm. Preferably not every day, maybe on Tuesday I couldn't because of my studies, but I would love to take care of your pets when you need it. I could walk your dog or care for your cat at home if that is more convenient for the owner, depending on how would it be the circumstances

About: I took care of pets since I was little as my family in Ecuador has a farm with many working dogs, additionally family friends in Spain own both young and elderly dogs that I've taken on walks every time I travel! I will be entering uni around late September so I have all this free time until then to take care of dogs with minimal interruptions! For my own cats, I tend to not let them out as I fear the foxes that constantly go by and I worry for their safety. But of course I will respect the owner's wishes and rules with their pet as we all have different views and values!

About: I love seeing cats happy which is a very rewarding experience. Great patience with getting them to familiarise with strangers like myself in the beginning. I'm working full-time on a hybrid basis (Mon-Fri) - twice a week at the office which is quite close with public transport. So flexible and willing to adjust times :). For the time being, I'm not hosting cats. Based on my experience from my own cat, lots of playing, brushing, cleaning litter and their food bowls regularly, keeping them close when working or cooking. However, as we know, they need their freedom to roam in the house and a pulled curtain to watch birds!

About: I can take care of them all! I have experience with small dogs such as pugs, frenchies, shih tzu, chihuahua and others. Looking after these made me realise I needed a dog of my own so got myself a pug called Lola. I can walk your dog, bath them, play with them, and just give them lots of love and affection. I will gladly be your dogs best friend and promise to take the most care of them. Nothing is ever too much for me when it comes to your pet, whether they want to go for another walk or run around in the garden. I have a fenced back garden and have a lovely 14 month old pug that will become your dogs beat buddy during their time here.

Tyler R.
“Tyler has spent a lot of time with our two large dogs over the years. She's cared for them in her home and taken them on numerous walks, along with her own dog. She has a natural way with animals, can manage large and small, including those that pull on leash and those that are anxious. I've seen her with her own pets (hamsters, cats and dog) as well as with friends' pets and it's clear that she has a great love for all animals and a lot of patience with them. She is also a very mature and responsible person. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tyler as a pet/house sitter, dog walker or just a pet visitor as they would be in very caring hands!”

Johanna P.
“My name is Ronald R. , leaving in West London. I am a happy owner to the cutest French poodle called Fiora. However she is quite difficult with people she doesn't know. I contacted Johanna, through a friend who previously asked her to take care of her cat for 4 days. Her experience with Johanna was such a positive one that I didn't hesitate to contact Johanna. We had a first meeting and I was very happy with the way she interacted with Fiora. Johanna's love and care for animals was evident and we decided to meet another time with Fiora. The second meeting was another success and decided to use Johanna's service for a 3 day period while on a business trip abroad. I was worried at first and we agreed that I could call Johanna every evening to get some news. Very understanding, Johanna didn't see any issues. I was reassured. Fiora's experience with Johanna has been very positive and it is with no hesitation that I will use Johanna' service in the future if needed. Your love one will be cared of!!!!”

Ainhoa P.
“Ainhoa took care of my 11 year old Spanish Water Dog for two days and did a great job. She came to my home, followed all instructions, and sent me pictures whenever I asked. She’s clearly responsible and truly loves animals. I highly recommend her as a pet caregiver😇”

Dalila M.
“Dalila took care of my rabbit, Tupcia, when I was out for holidays. She was well fed and taken care of and had loads of playtime. She obviously missed me and my family, but the amount of care she got was more than enough for her to seem satisfied and happy. Dalila also has her own 2 cats that she has taken care of for over 2 years now, and they also seem to be more than happy, well fed and taken care of. I definitely know and believe that Dalila would be a great person to take care of almost ANY animal.”

Maria D.
“Maria has cat-sat for me a number of times and always takes exceptional care of my monsters! She sends lot of pictures, and it's clear the cats are not just taken care of, but pampered with extra play time, brushes (my boy cat goes nuts for a good brush) and treats <3 She's also an excellent communicator which really helps when we're far away from the babies, and it's clear the cats love her too - tails are always up in the pics!”

Emily A.
“Emily has looked after my dog when I changed jobs a few months ago and had to go back to the office full time. Emily was incredible with my dog and she constantly kept me updated and didn’t leave me wondering what’s the latest with my dog.”
