About: I have always been brought up with some kind of fur baby. I have a Frenchie who I adopted. She had such a hard start to life. Being with me, she has found her safe space and knows love. I know when she wants to be left alone or whether she wants to be held and given lots of attention. I am here to ensure that your pet is not only taken care of, but also feels excited coming to see me. My job allows me to be very flexible to ensure your fur baby/babies are well taken care of. Whether it’s a full day at home needed or an hour walk out, I can work around each pets need. I have a small garden. However, I usually take the fur babies out on a long walk regardless if it rains or shines! A little mud never harms anyone.

About: I have years of experience looking after big dog and caring for animals. I have lots of free time and can give your pets lots of love and attention. I have lots of time and will be happy to look after your pets at my house to give them lots of cuddles, love and care. I have fully enclosed garden with high fences. I can provide a comfortable environment for your pets to feel safe and at home. I will attend to all their needs.

I have a fenced off large garden in two parts for keeping dogs apart if need be. Area is open and free for a good stretch in the mornings if dogs don't want to walk quite yet ha. The area is cleaned daily and waste disposed of correctly.

“Kieran and his girlfriend were the perfect dog day carers, couldn’t ask for more. Great communication before and during our dog’s stay, picture updates, very warm and welcoming, professional, friendly, flexible. Perfect set-up at their house on a quiet lane, enclosed garden, lots of open countryside all around. Ideal and will be keeping them in mind if we need a doggie day-care in the area again. 5 stars, perfect.”

“Amazing, couldn’t have asked for better caring people to look after my dog Margo. They went above and beyond taking her out on day trips, treating her like part of their family and also providing photos while I was away. I will be booking with them again!! I would highly recommend and I already have!!”

“Alexandra is amazing! This is the second time she looked after Ruby and it looks like Ruby loves her 😊 also Alexandra keeps sending pictures of their adventures during the day, what’s is always nice to receive! Definitely would drop Ruby off here again if we around the area, pretty sure Ruby would love that too!”

About: I have cared for animals from the age of 11, when my parents set up boarding kennels, I lived and breathed the company of the dogs we cared for. As well as many years experience working at the kennels, I am always first choice for friends and family who need pet care or walks whether they are at work, going on holiday or just too busy that particular day. They all know I prefer animals over humans and don’t take it personally! I’m currently taking a break from work and can look after your fur babies every day and overnight if required, either at my home or theirs. I am available for walks every day or even just company and belly rubs if that’s all your baby needs. I have a private fenced garden and your pets will be in the safest hands. I have a 3 year old Labrador who could be great company for your fur baby, Willow loves to swim at any opportunity and run in the fields, rain or shine, day or night and sometimes all day!

About: I grew up with dogs in the house and carried that into my marriage and family life. I enjoy training larger breeds and exercising them. I currently work part time and mostly from home. My wife is retired so we are flexible for dog care and exercise. With two dogs of our own it’s always a busy schedule. We live in a large family farm house with access to an acre of fenced garden and 20 acres of fields and wood for dog fun.

About: I'm an experienced dog, cat (and giant snail!) owner. I'm a very outdoorsy person, spending my spare time hill walking and exploring the estate I live on with my two dogs. I have experience administering medication such as injecting insulin in cats, looking after senior animals as well as puppies and kittens. I live on a large estate perfect for dog walking and boarding. I have a car so can easily drive to your home if needed. I work from home and have regular breaks to walk your furry friend. My work is flexible so I can usually fit in drop in visits and walks. Every morning, afternoon and evening your dog will be walked on the estate, with plenty of interesting places to explore, including a woodland, loch, walled garden and fields. I live on a sprawling country estate, whilst my garden is unfenced your dog will always be supervised and leashed if needed. My cottage is not near the road so is very safe. In the cottage they will have the run of our kitchen and living room, with a wood fired stove and sofa.

About: I have two very cute cocker spaniels called Fern and Bessie who are 3 and 4. They both love other doggies! I work from home most days of the week so am around to look after your dog most days. We walk three times a day. A short one in the morning, half an hour at lunch and then an hour after work usually in the woods or up a mountain! We live in the centre of Windermere so have access to so many beautiful dog walks I work from home most days of the week (2 days in the office sporadically). I joke that I have a second full time job as a dog mum! I have a small garden for the dogs to do their wees and poos but we mostly take them out for lots of fun walks

About: Me and my husky Eska are excited to welcome your dog into our home! I have experience living in a family with six dogs over the years, of varying breeds, from puppy to elderly. I make sure to prioritise Eska, and will treat any dog i’m looking after with the same care and attention - this means lots of walks and cuddles! I am a freelance designer, and very flexible. I have plenty of time to walk your dog, encourage play time with toys and any other care that may be required. My home is clean, tidy and free of hazards. I have full access to a fully fenced dog park for off-lead exercise. I have space for multiple dogs to be cared for, including overnight.

“Jazmin was great and will definitely be looking to book her again. It was our first time leaving our 5 month old pup Cooper and she was great. Sent loads of photos and he looked to be having a great time, think he was a bit disappointed when I brought him home. Really friendly, met up beforehand just to get a feel, delighted she was happy to look after him as he has that typical puppy energy at the moment. Thanks again!”

About: My website highlights stories of the dogs I’ve taken care of at Windermere Dog Sitting and I can provide documentation for home boarding licence, DBS check and professional pet business insurance. I work part time as an online nutritionist so I have plenty of time to take care of dogs too. We usually go out for 2-3 nature walks a day. I have a secure garden and plenty of toys, fluffy bedding and a very clean and tidy home. Amber (my young cockapoo) is the only other being in my household.

Savannah L.Star Sitter

“Bobby came back happy and relaxed - Savanna had spent quality time with him and it really helped my working day ! She is committed and reliable - highly recommended”

Holly C.Star Sitter
“Holly goes that extra mile. I had a cat called George who was 20, if I had to go away I know I could rely on Holly, she wouldn't just pop in to feed him she would stay with him, give him attention (he loved attention) because he was old he struggled to make it to his litter box or outside. He would need to be carried, Holly would do that so there was no accidents. I also have a young cat called Pikachu, Holly is good with him too. He has alot of energy so wants to play/kill all the time. Holly would sit and play with him she wouldn't just feed him and leave. I like that about Holly, she would actually spend time with them. Oh and she was really good with cleaning the litter box so when I arrive home the house doesn't smell.”

“Elizabeth has always been caring and kind towards all animals, but particularly dogs. This includes sponsoring guide dogs and rescue dogs overseas, to now having her own rescue dog, which she has provided a lovely home to.
