“Excellent, would highly recommend! We came to the lakes for a few days for our daughter’s wedding and to take away a bit of the pressure our two went for an overnight stay with Kat. They came back very happy and not stressed in the slightest. Kat sent photos showing them chilled, snoozing and very settled which made us know we had made the right choice. Great communication throughout from start to finish (not so much from me 😂 sorry Kat!). To conclude, I would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Paul was very polite and welcoming, we had a breif but informatice introduction as I dropped my pooch off and was respecful of my dog habbit requests. He looked after my dog very well, including sending occasional updates or pictures of the mischief my dog was getting up to. I think my dog thought she was at the Ritz! Paul is very responsive when it comes to communication. 10/10 satisfaction! I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Thanks Paul, 100% recommend!”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner with a lurcher of my own, so I’m very used to the day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention dogs need. I’m confident handling dogs on walks, keeping them settled and comfortable, and making sure they get plenty of company and affection. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own. I work but have the ability to work from home and so my availability is flexible throughout the week. I typically walk my own dog twice a day. I have a fenced, 7 acre fellside garden (I live on an old farm), so in addition to twice daily walks there is also plenty of space for walking and running about throughout the day. My own dog is very chilled and has no problems with other dogs. My house is very dog friendly, lying on the furniture is fine, I also have a large crate I no longer use which can be used for dogs who need it.

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life. From walking my family’s dogs from a young age to looking after friends dogs for the past 5 years and having my own cocker spaniel for 2 years now. I currently work 3 days a week so have atleast 4 days available to love, play and walk your fur babies. My cocker spaniel loves making new friends and loves doggy company. I have a fenced garden and plenty of local walks around and a field opposite my house. I also love going to the Lake District with my dog so would be able to provide plenty of adventure for your dog. I can crate your dog if needed and provide plenty of toys and fun.

About: I am a young, fit individual who loves going on walks and spending time with animals🐾🏔️☺️ I can provide daily visits for dogs (or cats), dog walking, doggy day care or at times overnight boarding! For overnight boarding the dogs are allowed on the sofa, and there are lots of toys and balls to play with here too☺️ I have had dogs my whole life, starting with labradors and now border terriers. My own dog Teddy has a diagnosis of epilepsy so I am able to manage dogs with medical conditions well. I have access to a car and can drive to any appointments🚘 If my availability doesn’t suit, don’t hesitate to send a request or message anyways and I will see what I can do. My partner often helps me too if I am unavailable🥰 I currently work full time through a shift schedule. However I often have spare time on my hands during days off on which I would love to go a walk or help out other dog owners. I can also provide overnight boarding for well behaved, socialised dogs. When in someone else’s home I will respect any instructions given to me. I can bring my own dog on walks (if wanted) to keep company.

SHort notice visits are usually ok, please contact me with your queries! :) I can offer dog walks from your property - ie. I wouldn't be driving your dog to the start of the walk. I am also happy to do home visits.

Countryside living in Cumbria, with both walks on the doorstep, and the fells a short drive away for those more adventurous paws! Dog got a few 'quirks'? Rest assured, ive seen em all! Positive training methods and vibes all the way! :) I am currently on a career break, so the world is my oyster at the moment. I enjoy getting out and about most days, so having a pooch to join me would be great! I understand every dog is different, so am able to adapt to each individual in order to meet both their, and your needs. I have a mature garden, which is full of lots of smells and room for adventures. the majority of it is enclosed, with some small gaps beneath some decking- however, I am more than happy to keep your pooch on a long line, and supervised at all times. I have multiple rooms, if your dog requires separating at certain times etc. I have space for crates etc. I am happy to accommodate your dog on the furniture, or on the bed if this makes them feel more at ease. I have access to a woodland which is not open to the public, so if your dog requires quieter walks away from the public, or other dogs, this can be accommodated easily.

About: Dogs and cats have been in my life since I was little. I love taking care of them and making sure they are having a good time with me. For that reason I set myself up as professional dog walker in 2024. I find it very rewarding to look after other peoples dogs providing them with quality walking time and spend my days mainly outdoors...even if Cumbrian weather puts it's mark on it occasionally. I have a DBS check, attended a Canine Body Language course and Pets first aid course plus have dog walking+pet sitting insurance in place. I am a full time dog walker in Cockermouth and offer local pop-ins, pet visits. I am currently in the process of applying for home boarding license which will allow me to offer doggy day care and sleepovers (max 3 nights and up to medium size dogs).
